A spoiler driven anthology series, where there is always an elevator and someone always dies in it - but everything else is different.
The Someone Dies In This Elevator podcast is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon recently and I must say, I was thoroughly pleased with my discovery. The premise of the show is intriguing, keeping you on the edge of your seat as you wait to find out who will meet their demise in each episode. What sets this podcast apart from others is its ability to consistently deliver unexpected and varied storylines that keep you guessing until the very end. With each new episode, you never quite know what will happen next, making it a thrilling and exciting experience for listeners.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is its exceptional execution. The creative concept behind Someone Dies In This Elevator is executed flawlessly, from the writing to the production and acting. The episodes are well-crafted and engaging, drawing you into each story with their unique twists and turns. The writing is clever and keeps you hooked from start to finish, while the production value enhances the overall listening experience. The actors bring life to their characters, delivering convincing performances that allow you to become fully immersed in the world of the podcast.
However, as much as I love this podcast, there are a few aspects that could be improved upon. Firstly, although the varying storylines are exciting, there were certain episodes that didn't quite live up to my expectations. While most episodes managed to surprise me with their twists and intriguing resolutions, there were a few instances where the resolution felt lackluster or predictable. Additionally, some listeners might find it frustrating that not every character receives equal development or exploration within each episode due to time constraints.
In conclusion, Someone Dies In This Elevator is a truly unique podcast in an oversaturated market of audio fiction shows. Its ability to captivate listeners with its creative concept and provide consistently engaging episodes makes it a must-listen for any fan of fictional stories. Despite some minor flaws here and there, this podcast delivers on its promise of keeping you entertained and eagerly anticipating more content. Highly recommended for those seeking a thrilling and unpredictable listening experience.

Ask Your Father asks the question: What does it mean to be a family? What does it mean to be a person in that family, even if you aren't a human? The show allows us to explore concepts of human rights, the ownership of our labor, the limits we put on morality and the fight for personhood - all in the form of a sci-fi thriller. The first season is 9 episodes long and tells a complete story, but one with room to grow in unexpected directions in future seasons. Lem, a human, and Mikey, an A.I., are piloting the first ever faster than light speed ship when they find themselves twice as far as they meant to go, and without any fuel for a return flight. The two of them communicate with Earth using tiny faster-than-light-speed drives, which carry information for Mikey and questions for Lem from his kids. As they work together to solve the problem, they forge a friendship that could change the course of human history, all while trying to answer the question “how did this happen?” And more importantly… “Why?” For credits, transcripts, and more info, visit Gideon-Media.com Learn more about your ad choices. If you like SDITE, I think you'll like Give Me Away. This audio drama imagines: what if there was such a thing as consensual body snatchers, aliens that cohabit in the minds of willing humans. What does sharing a body look like? I adore the concept of this show, and it's made by the team behind Steal The Stars, another fantastic sci-fi podcast! Re: Dracula is a bite-sized audio adaptation of the horror classic Dracula that's currently crowdfunding! We're taking the famous horror tale, breaking it up chronologically (every entry of this epistolary novel has a date), and sending the story directly to your podcatcher as it happens. Every time something happens to the characters, Re: Dracula will publish an episode, in as close to real time as possible. If we are successfully funded, the first episode will drop May 3, and the final episode, November 7th. Some entries will be brief, and others will be long and intense. We intend to be a faithful, text-accurate adaptation, featuring a full cast to tug on your heartstrings and sound design to keep you on the edge of your seat. We'll have content warnings at the top of each episode, and while we aim to follow the text of the novel as much as possible, we will be removing unnecessary racist asides. But primarily, we'll be looking at the novel thorough a modern day lens - not changing the text, but approaching outdated sections with nuance. In Re: Dracula, we want to experiment with grounded readings of Dracula, the sort of intimate acting that audio drama so often excels at. The show will be released for free, but those who help us fund the project will get additional perks, including ad-free episodes, a full audiobook, digital downloads, and more! One of the deadliest creatures known to man, notable in part for their 100% fatality rate on hit podcast Someone Dies In This Elevator. Today we're taking a closer look at them. [BEAT] But not that close. Elevators are remarkable contraptions intended for raising and lowering things to different floors or levels. But as you and both I know, they hunger for violence, lying in wait for unsuspecting passengers that soon will become their victims. Little is known about how these elevators hunt, save for the fact that no two seem to kill in the same way. Scientists speculate that this may be an intentional tactic to prevent their prey from forming defensive measures. Should you encounter an elevator in the wild, your best option is to remove yourself from the situation. Do not attempt to fight the elevator. Here we see an elevator in its natural habitat. A passenger approaches. Oh. Oh no. What are you doing? Get away from there. No, come on, don't do that. I- I can't watch this. Turn it off. Turn it off! Midnight Burger is a monthly audio drama about a diner at the end – and somehow the beginning – of the universe. It's a show I (Tal) simply adore. When Gloria took a waitressing job at Midnight Burger outside of Phoenix, she didn't realize she was now an employee of a time-traveling, dimension-spanning diner. Every day Midnight Burger appears somewhere new in the cosmos along with it's staff: a galactic drifter, a rogue theoretical physicist, a sentient old-timey radio, and some guy named Caspar. No one knows who built Midnight Burger or how it works, but when it appears there's always someone around who could really use a cup of coffee. This is the first episode, The Transdimensional Haboob.
