What do you do when the thing you built is still “working”… but it feels like a sweater that shrunk ten sizes too small? In this episode of Look What She Built, Jaime Foster sits down with Bri Seeley (Subconscious Success Strategist, TEDx speaker, and up-and-coming tech founder) for an honest, powerful conversation about what happens when you outgrow a business, an identity, or a season of life and you find yourself in the in-between.Bri calls it the hallway: you've left one room, but the next door hasn't opened yet. It can feel lonely, disorienting, and wildly uncomfortable, but it's also where the next version of you gets built. If you're in a pivot, facing a big identity shift, or quietly wondering “Is this still for me?” this episode is a deep exhale and a flashlight. In this episode, we talk about:How to tell the difference between a rough season and a true understanding: “period statements” vs question marksWhy women have been conditioned to “effort” their way into success and why that stops workingWhat happens when your identity hasn't caught up to the level you're stepping intoBri's 3-step subconscious process (garden metaphor): uproot the weeds, shift perspective, reinforce the new rulebookWhy you don't rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your identityThe fear of disappointing people who benefited from the old version of youHarmonies, octaves, and why shrinking to keep others comfortable costs youHow to practice your future before you walk into triggering rooms (hello, family gatherings)What to do when you outgrow the creation without losing the creatorThis episode is your reminder that the hallway isn't failure. It's transition. It's recalibration. It's identity catching up with expansion. And yes, it can feel like you're floating in limbo. But as Bri says, the next door opens as long as you stay committed to what's on the other side.Learn more:BriSeeley.comInstagram

Inside the Village - A weekly podcast featuring newsmakers in Ontario
Send us a textBack in 2018, now-Premier Doug Ford campaigned on a promise to end “hallway healthcare.” Eight years later, not much has changed.According to the latest available data, an average of nearly 1,400 Ontario hospital patients per day were treated in “unconventional spaces” — which includes not only hallways, but closets, cafeterias and even bathrooms. But there is one thing that has suddenly changed: the Ford government's willingness to publicly disclose the latest data on hallway healthcare. For years, that metric was included in an annual report released by Ontario Health, the agency that oversees the province's health-care system. Not anymore. One emergency room physician called the change “complete and utter malpractice in terms of public accountability and transparency,” while NDP health critic France Gélinas said it's clear the Ford government has “decided hiding this data is easier than fixing the problems.”Joining us on tonight's Closer Look to explain the change is the journalist who broke the story: Sneh Duggal, deputy editor of The Trillium, Village Media's bureau at Queen's Park.Hosted by Village Media's Michael Friscolanti and Scott Sexsmith, and produced by Derek Turner, Closer Look is a new daily podcast that goes way beyond the headlines with insightful, in-depth conversations featuring our reporters and editors, leading experts, key stakeholders and big newsmakers.Fresh episodes drop every Monday to Friday at 7 p.m. right in your local news feed — and on the show's dedicated website: closerlookpodcast.ca. In this final episode of our mini-series of good, we will explore the value of slowing down to listen and hear the ordinary good things happening in our schools that make us extraordinarily proud of our important work.
In this true scary story, Evelyn has lived in the same house since early childhood, and for as long as they can remember, something has lived there with them. Strange sounds, unseen movement, animals refusing to enter certain spaces… all leading to one moment that still makes their heart race years later. What happened in the middle of an ordinary afternoon shattered every rational explanation and left behind physical proof that something in the house can act with intent.Have a story? Chris had never set foot in his grandparents' apartment before—but the moment he walked in, something felt wrong. Not unfamiliar. Known. The hallway stretched exactly where he expected it to. The rooms were where they should be. It was as if he'd been there already… just not in this life.At night, the apartment refused to sleep. Footsteps moved with intention, pacing the length of the hall, stopping inches from where Chris lay on the couch—lingering—before turning back toward the kitchen. The rocking chair swayed when no one touched it. The air carried the constant, suffocating sense of being observed. When his grandfather finally challenged whatever shared the space with them, the response was immediate—and violent. What happens when cyber risk leaders stop speaking in acronyms and start telling stories? In this episode, host Jason Bradwell sits down with Jeffrey Wheatman, SVP of Cyber Risk Strategy at Black Kite and longtime cybersecurity evangelist, to talk about how to lead with problems, not products. From decades advising CISOs at Gartner to launching the panel show Third Party, Jeff shares what he's learned about building trust, breaking down "terminal uniqueness," and why vendors need to collaborate on educating the market instead of competing. If you care about cutting through noise in a saturated market, this conversation is packed with insights you can actually use. Jason and Jeff dive into why so many cybersecurity vendors fall into the trap of "terminal uniqueness" believing they're so different that they can't learn from anyone else. Jeff explains why this mindset kills effective marketing and how leading with the problem, not your product features, is the only way to break through. They explore why CISOs won't talk to sales teams (hint: it's not personal, it's about trust) and why the cybersecurity industry desperately needs more collaboration. Jeff makes a compelling case that we're at war with ransomware networks, yet vendors refuse to talk to each other about how to educate buyers. The conversation shifts to buyer awareness stages and where most marketing completely misses the mark. Jeff shares his framework for thinking about audiences beyond just problem-aware buyers, and why "hallway therapy" at conferences builds more trust than any keynote ever will. Jason asks Jeff how he'd spend $100K to build an audience (not a campaign), and Jeff's answer revolves around creating spaces for real conversation, which is exactly what led him to launch Third Party, a panel show tackling cybersecurity topics with both strategic and tactical depth. They wrap with Jeff's shoutouts to creators doing cyber content right and key takeaways for B2B marketers trying to build trust in technical markets. Whether you're a security vendor struggling to differentiate, a CISO trying to communicate risk to the board, or a B2B marketer in any technical space, Jeff's insights on problem-first storytelling and building genuine community will transform how you think about reaching your audience. This week we're recapping The Dead Files episode “House of Mirrors,” but — in true TAC fashion — we veer wildly off the rails in the best possible ways. We also talked about Megan's full-blown Oregon Chai obsession, Amy's unexpected backyard cryptid sighting, whether possums are adorable or demonic, why yelling at ghosts never works, and the ongoing “tree burial vs. cremation vs. body farm” debate that absolutely will not die. We talk of the upcoming season finale, listener suggestions for new investigations, potential paranormal podcast crossovers, and haunted places within road-trip distance that the TAC crew could visit in 2026. Prepare for tricksters, history, side quests, and a whole lot of laughing at the absurdity of it all. So grab your Oregon chai (trust us), get cozy, and join us…where The Activity Continues. Some houses feel their age in creaks and drafts. Others wear their history the way a body wears scars. And then there are homes like the one outside Joplin, Missouri — places that seem to wake up when the sun goes down. For Courtney and her siblings, childhood didn't just happen inside that house… it happened alongside whatever else lived there. Something small and fast enough to blur across the hallway. Something bold enough to sit on a girl's chest in the dark. Something strong enough to slam a door through thick carpet. But the real story isn't just what they saw — it's the heaviness that settled into the walls afterward. The sense of being watched on the stairs. The feeling of breath behind you in the hallway. The way every child in the house learned to walk fast, never look into the dark too long, and never, ever sleep with their door cracked open. Years later, the house is gone from their lives… but not from their dreams. Because some places don't stay behind when you move. Some places follow. #ShadowEntity #JoplinHaunting #ParanormalChildhood #MidwestGhosts #RGSOStory #SomethingInTheHall #ShadowCreature #OldHouseEnergy #UnexplainedEncounters #HauntedMemories Love real ghost stories? Some hauntings don't explode into a family's life with screams, shadows, or dramatic apparitions. Some creep in slowly, choosing one person… and watching them grow. We dive into a chilling lifelong haunting that began before the storyteller was even born — a presence that first made itself known to a toddler who talked to empty corners and insisted a “man” stood there with him. What the family once dismissed as imagination or a visiting ancestor slowly evolved into something far more persistent, intelligent, and deeply personal. Across decades, this entity didn't just linger in the background. It targeted. It chose. It escalated. And when she finally turned eighteen, the thing that had watched her for years stepped fully into view… and into her nightmares. Some spirits don't haunt houses. A receptionist working alone in a four-story office building starts noticing that she's not as alone as she thinks. Lights flicker in rooms no one has entered. Hallway shadows move against walls with no windows. Doors open, close, and switch themselves off—or on—without a single living person nearby. And then there's the basement. The one spot in the building where even the emergency lights seem to hesitate. Her coworkers may be working from home, but one former employee might not be done with his rounds. After the passing of their beloved night security guard, the building hasn't felt the same… and something about the footsteps, the flickering lights, and the black figure moving through the halls makes her wonder if Charles might still be clocked in. Is it a lingering spirit? Something tied to the building itself? Or just the price of being the last one left after everyone else has gone home? #realghoststoriesonline #hauntedoffice #ghoststories #paranormalpodcast #shadowfigure #officelights #nightguardspirit #covidhauntings #basementhaunting #trueghoststory #shadowpeople Love real ghost stories? At night, the Ohio data center felt too aware. The radio wasn't glitching—it was responding, shifting with Brian's mood like something was using it to reach him. Then the footsteps came. One weekend, the building replayed a pattern no one living had walked in years: the front door opening… slow steps down the stairwell…a left turn into the basement…and a stop right at Brian's doorway. Nothing stood there. But the air felt charged, like the hallway remembered something it shouldn't. Before the data center existed, the land held whispers of a death beneath an old tree—a story no one could confirm but everyone knew. And the coldest room in the building sits exactly where that tree once stood. Brian realized some places don't wait for company. When they built their dream home nearly two decades ago, they expected the usual first-year adjustments — settling beams, dusty drywall, that kind of thing. What they didn't expect was the hallway. A long, narrow stretch leading to the children's bedrooms, thick with a heaviness so real it made the mother's skin prickle every time she walked through it. Especially near the youngest child's room… a room she could hardly step into without feeling watched. The activity began quietly. Then violently. And one night, something in that room made itself known. But this isn't a story about defeat. It's about a mother who walked into the heart of the fear — alone — and told whatever was there that its time was up. She still lives in that house. And the spirits still do, too. #RealGhostStoriesOnline #HauntedHouse #ShadowPeople #ParanormalActivity #CivilWarLand #TrueGhostStory #HauntedHallway #SupernaturalEncounters #Poltergeist #GhostStories #CreepyExperiences Love real ghost stories? This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! Imagine growing up in a place where bedtime wasn't just about turning off the lights—it was about hoping the spirits would leave you alone for the night. For Sysco Murdoch, childhood in a haunted farmhouse meant living side by side with the supernatural. Red bandanas would fly across rooms on their own, footsteps echoed down empty halls, and unseen presences made themselves known in ways impossible to ignore. What began as fear soon turned into fascination. These early, chilling experiences opened a lifelong door for Sysco—one that led her deeper into the mysteries of the afterlife. From nightly encounters to unexplained phenomena that tested the limits of reason, she learned to live with what others ran from. Now, Sysco Murdoch shares her story: the haunting that shaped her, the spirits that still linger in memory, and the lessons the dead seem determined to teach the living. Because when ghosts are your childhood roommates, fear isn't the end of the story—it's just the beginning. Some hauntings hit you like a scream in the dark — others arrive in silence, leaving you questioning what you just experienced. The first story comes from Aaron, who was just sixteen when a summer gaming night with a friend turned into something out of a nightmare. Around 2 a.m., his friend stepped into the dark hallway and froze. He swore a pale girl with long black hair and eerie white eyes appeared inches from his face — then vanished. Seconds later came two heavy thumps, and when they gathered the courage to check the living room, every single family photo on the mantel had been knocked face-down on the carpet. Terrified, the friend called his mom to pick him up, leaving Aaron alone, wide-eyed, and too scared to go back inside until his dad came home. The second story is more tragic than terrifying — but just as unsettling. A caller recounts discovering on social media that a close college friend had recently passed away. That very night he dreamed they were walking together toward a car, casually talking. When he mentioned the online condolences, his late friend looked confused — as if he didn't know he had died. The dream froze mid-conversation, glitch-like, and jolted the caller awake, haunted by the eerie possibility that his friend's spirit hadn't realized he'd crossed over. #TrueGhostStory #RealHaunting #ParanormalExperience #CreepyHallwayGirl #VisitationDream #GhostEncounter #UnexplainedEvents #ScaryStoryTime #RealGhostStories Love real ghost stories? This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! Growing up in the small town of Parsons, Kansas was supposed to be simple — but for Richard Cutshall, it was anything but. His childhood home whispered in the dark, shadows moved with a mind of their own, and sometimes his own double appeared just to say hello. What began as innocent flickers of something unseen spiraled into unsettling encounters: figures standing in the corner of his room, disembodied voices calling out, and an eerie doppelganger that made him question everything he thought he knew about reality. Richard reveals how the paranormal became an inseparable part of his life, turning a quiet Kansas upbringing into a haunting he could never outrun. This week's episode is coming to you straight from the hospital with my child. The sound might be different, but the message is the same: God is faithful—even here.In today's short reflection, I share how quickly life shifted for our family, what God has been doing in the middle of the chaos, and how faith deepens in hard seasons of motherhood. You'll hear real stories of His provision—moved appointments, kind helpers, even hospital laundry—and the reminder that trusting God during hardship and surrendering control are powerful ways to find peace in chaos. If you've been walking a hallway of your own—whether it's fear, waiting, or uncertainty—this short encouragement for overwhelmed moms will help you pause, breathe, and remember that God's goodness and faithfulness are steady, even when life feels unpredictable.
Some hauntings don't arrive with slamming doors or shattered windows. They creep in quietly, piece by piece, until the ordinary becomes unbearable. For her and her sisters, their small apartment became exactly that — a place where something unseen shared their space. It began with a feeling, a heaviness in the air, as if the apartment was already full when they moved in. Soon came the sightings — a soft blue glow drifting through bedrooms at night, giggles echoing in the hallway, and the unmistakable sound of footsteps when no one was awake. Most chilling of all was the child. Sometimes it appeared as a blur of movement, racing across the living room like her youngest sister. Other times, it was only a shadow at the edge of the bed. And once, it revealed itself fully — standing in the living room with no face at all. We explore her chilling memories of the faceless child, the mysterious blue glow, and the haunting that turned a family's apartment into a place they couldn't wait to escape. Was it the spirit of a lost child? Something older, wearing a child's shape to gain trust? Or a presence that shifted between comfort and terror depending on what it wanted? One thing is certain — the apartment wasn't empty. And whatever lived there made sure they knew it. #RealGhostStories #HauntedApartment #FacelessChild #ParanormalActivity #GhostStories #BlueLightOrb #CreepyStories #TrueHaunting #GhostChild #Ghosts Love real ghost stories? What happens when the thing you fear most doesn't look scary at all? When the danger is dressed in innocence—a little girl in a red dress with green eyes, smiling at you from just out of reach? In this chilling true story from Canterbury, England, a young boy grows up haunted—not by one, but many entities. From the ghostly white face peering through a glass panel to the doppelgänger of his younger self hanging upside down from the attic, the spirits in his life seem relentless. But it's the girl in red who follows him for years—quietly, persistently, and always just watching—that leaves the deepest mark. It isn't until she's identified in an ancient occult book that he realizes the truth: she was never a child at all. And worse—she's not alone.
