my crazy hair and i finally got around to reading the second book in rick riordan’s magnus chase and the gods of asgard series, the hammer of thor. and we loved it! erm... i loved it. because my hair is not actually a sentient being. i think. anyway, here’s a review!

i finally gathered up the courage to watch the last two episodes of haven! (it only took me ten months. are you proud of me?). now i’m depressed because i miss my show, so i’m gonna talk about it non-stop until my sad fangirl heart puts itself back together. PS: seriously, if someone has started a petition for more haven in any shape or form, send the link my way, please!

when i was a little girl, i watched (and played, and read) a lot of series that i loved and miss to this day. and now that hollywood is going through the age of nostalgia, i want to see these series on the big screen. because aquaman.

and in this week’s installment of 'losers who've never been at a geeky convention talking about geeky conventions'... NYCC! chatter including logan, voltron, shadowhunters, that power rangers trailer the internet is going crazy about, and a lot more.

the third movie in the digimon tri series was released just last week, and it might as well have been subtitled 'drama' instead of 'confession.' does that mean i didn’t love it? please, son. the drama gives me LIFE.

after over 600 chapters and FIFTEEN YEARS, the bleach manga has come to an end. i’ve read it, i’ve grieved, and now i’m left to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. i have finished reading cassandra clare’s lady midnight and i have a lot of feelings about it! particularly about julian, emma, and how the clave needs to FREAKING DIE. and then be fed to flesh-eating goldfish, just for kicks. ;)

i got to see suicide squad and although it delivered on the fun i wanted, it missed on some other aspects -- and what better way to discuss these than in an hour-long rant? i take my lists very seriously, y'all.

netflix has announced the cast for their movie adaptation of the anime/manga death note, and being a fan, i had to talk about my feelings about it -- and my feelings about there being a U.S. adaptation at all! of course i ended up spending fifteen minutes talking about adaptation and a history of recent hollywood whitewashing, but hey, i arrived at the actual topic eventually. =P

there’s lots of new events and info coming up in the harry potter fandom, and i have many ~feelings~ and opinions about all of it, so i figured i’d make a video about it. GO SERPENDORS! o/
