Wolfe says that some people (midwits) are committing the “scary term fallacy” in critiquing his position. Chris affirms Wolfe's argument in principle, but contends many Christian nationalists are committing that exact fallacy in attempting to refute theonomic arguments against Wolfe's Christian nationalism.

Does the Bible provide the necessary laws and framework for the proper functioning of civil government? On this episode of The Lancaster Patriot Podcast, Chris Hume interacts with the idea that theonomists are off-base to claim that the Bible is "sufficient" for politics. Chris explains the two senses in which we use the term "sufficient" in the context of the Bible. He discusses how non-legislative theonomists acknowledge the need for wisdom and prudence in obtaining "new information" to render just verdicts, but insist that the laws given in Scripture are enough (i.e., we do not need new laws).

Luke Saint joins Chris Hume on The Lancaster Patriot Podcast to discuss Pete Hegseth's change of tune concerning women in the military and the importance of speaking about the Lord's regulations before kings and not being ashamed (cf. In this brief episode, Chris follows up on his recent informal debate with Marek Kizer with some thoughts on the concept of "pre-adjudication" and its implications for biblical justice. Biblical law requires that judges "inquire diligently" in matters of justice (Deut. 19:18). Pre-adjudication bypasses this requirement.

On this episode, Chris Hume briefly discusses the relationship between ethnicity, culture, and language, emphasizing that man-made law actually prevents a people from preserving their ethnicity. Relying on the "state" and man-made laws to solve problems related to ethnicity and culture is detrimental. Instead, we ought to seek alternative ways to preserve ethnicity and culture without rejecting God's Law and civil structure.

The owner of a farm stand in Lancaster County has spent thousands of dollars and lost hours and hours of production due to man-made legislation and regulation (all instituted for the "common good"). A dutiful zoning officer appears to have been monitoring Jesse Smucker's operation for years, and finally informed him that his Smucker's Farm Market was in violation of a local ordinance that limits the sales area to 500 square feet. Though Smucker did not break God's Law or harm his neighbor, he is now enmeshed in statist bureaucracy and costly legal meetings.
