Season 3, Episode 16: "You Gotta be 'Kid-din' Me." In this episode, Emin (@mrhajiyev) wants to celebrate international children's day by hopefully asking his kids for a liver after booze-induced lockdown coping. This leaves Shaikh wanting to know why individuals like himself aren't celebrated for not wanting kids after baby boomers have screwed us over. The gang is a little tipsier in celebration of shooting, dining, and divulging at Shaikh new crib. While Emin plugs content of the yesteryear, Shaikh's determined that everyone watch Mare of Eastown!

We are at war whether we like it or not or are aware of it or not. The problem is that Christians are playing with the enemy who’s fighting us. A soldier does not live for himself. A soldier never has to bother about his personal needs or do any other business to survive - (1 Corinthians 9:7). A soldier has complete faith in his commander. He has no opinion other than what the commander says. The soldier’s uniform. A soldier’s uniform is his identity. As Christians, the full armor of God is our identity which determines our authority. The helmet of salvation protects us. Our salvation experience protects us from doubts whether we are saved. The breastplate of righteousness is an understanding that you’re right with God through our faith in Him. Romans 8:1 (NKJV) The belt of truth: The belt is used to hold the armor together and to store weapon of warfare. The belt of truth is the word of God. Are you surrounding yourself with the truth if God’s word or the facts of this world. The shield of faith: This is our weapon of defense. Satan is not attacking your faith but what you have faith in. The sword of the spirit which is the word of God: The effectiveness of the sword is dependent on how much time you spend with it. So is the word! The boots of the gospel of peace: This shows that we are ready to go out knowing that the peace of God is in us and with us. It also means that wherever we step our feet, the gospel of peace must be preached there. Praying in the spirit: This is our weapon of mass destruction. This is also a way to activate every other parts of our armor. It also helps us to intercede for others. Teach your children. Create an atmosphere for them to learn in the home. Discipline your children; they will not die. Pray for them and pray over them. Make confessions over them.
It's beyond the cheers, children are suffering, as we do take out time to celebrate them, we should also admonish ourselves to be better as adults at decision making and parenting. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

India's Edtech sector is going through a great phase right now with many promising startups raising multiple rounds of capital from investors. It is estimated that EdTech is expected to give a dozen unicorns in the next 5-7 years. While this is great news for the sector, what is not as much highlighted in this Edtech frenzy is the poor quality of learning that majority of our K-12 learners go through which is quite foundational for their future careers. In our #ChildrensDay special on Taking the Leap, we caught up with the co-founders of our EdTech start-up Learning Matters - Gowri and Moorthy. Having worked in education technology for a long time, they knew that the industry largely focussed on supplementary education to the top tier of schools. Which meant there was a large population in semi-urban and rural India that was left underserved. Gowri, Moorthy and Saras, the other co-founder of Learning Matters decided to stop talking about it and take the opportunity in their own hands. That's how Learning Matters was born. The start-up has developed its own version of Alexa for education called 'Tara' that uses voice-based AI that can repeat lessons, converse, provide feedback and correct mistakes repeatedly. Learning Matters is equipping teachers across the country to improve learning outcomes in basic subjects like Math and English.
