Happy 5th birthday to Reliving My Youth!! Noel catches up with "The King of Rock" Darryl "DMC" McDaniels. Run-DMC is one of the most influential acts in not only hip-hop, but in all of music. They took hardcore hip-hop from an underground street sensation to a pop-culture phenomenon. The trio was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009. Run-DMC received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016. Darryl just released his latest book, "Darryl's Dream."

He discussed his time attending St. John's University for business management, when the conversations started happening between Run-DMC and Aerosmith to create their hit song Walk This Way, and their My Adidas performance at Madison Square Garden landing them their endorsement deal with Adidas. He got into MC Hammer dissing Run-DMC and being apart of 3rd Bass' The Gas Face music video. He also talked about Biggie Smalls wanting to meet him, putting his lyrics on My Downfall off of Life After Death, and how Puff Daddy & Suge Knight should have resolved their beef.
