Veteran R&B duo Ruff Endz is back with a new track titled “Be The One.” The mid-tempo jam, co-written by members David Chance and Dante Jordan, is the first offering from the Baltimore native’s upcoming fifth studio album, Rebirth.ABOUT RUFF ENDZRuff Endz, the hip-hop soul duo of David "Davinch" Chance and Dante "Chi" Jordan, formed in Baltimore in the mid-'90s. Named after the "Ruff" parts of the city, the group came up in West Baltimore originally as part of a quartet. Soon after they broke off on their own as a duo ,and in 1999 they signed to Epic Records. In that same year Ruff Endz was featured on Martin Lawrence’s ”Blue Streak” with a song entitled "Please dont forget about me" produced by Super Star producer Nokio from the platinum group "Dru Hill". They followed up in 2000 with their first album entitled "Love Crimes". Their first single, "No More", reached #1 on the R&B/Hip Hop charts and peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2002, the duo released their second album, Someone To Love You, which peaked in the top 10 on the R&B charts and top 50 on Billboard. The album’s first single, “Someone To Love You”, went on to spend 11 weeks at #1 on the AC charts and with their second single, “Cash, Money, Cars, Clothes” rounding out the top 50 on Billboard. They have shared the stage with music industry icons such as Mary J. Blige, R. Kelly, and Christina Aguilera while also featured on CNN, MTV, BET, Top of the Pops (UK), and Much Music (Canada) just to name a few. Their music has been showcased on several feature films including Chris Rock's "Down to Earth" , Eddie Murphy’s “I Spy”, and Ice Cube’s “Barber Shop” just to name a few.Their success has grown and crossed US borders to headline their own tours throughout Europe and Japan building a major international fan base. After splitting in 2004 ,the group decided to join forces once again after their hometown of Baltimore erupted into an Historical uprising that left their city in flames. With the city in unrest, they were compelled to record their first song entitled "Time 4 Change" a song that speaks out against injustice for their city and all cities alike. "Time 4 Change" is also the groups tribute to Martin Luther King. Ruff Endz will also be featured on the new Fox TV show called "Shots Fired" with a song called "Speak to My Heart"(episode 7) which premiered March 22, 2018.In 2020 , the group partners with SRG-ILS Group to bring you their new album called “ REBIRTH”. With songs like “Be The One “ Congratulations", and “Hopeless", the long-awaited album is available Friday April, 2nd and is available for pre-order now. The Hip-Hop Soul Duo Ruff Endz is bringing what so many people want...100% ORGANIC R&B!The group also released their second focus track, "Congratulations" from the upcoming "REBIRTH" album exclusively via ThisIsRnB.com. "We thought instead of making your typical break up song, we would write a song like “Congratulations” that shows how two people can successfully move on and be happy for each other." "Too many times we hear about the drama of break-ups but there are many people who are emotionally mature enough to be happy for their ex. It’s about everyone finding happiness in whatever path they choose in love," adds Dante.Overall, the tone of this album is positive, so it doesn’t matter where you are in your life there is something for you on this album that is sure to satisfy your R&B appetite.CONNECT WITH RUFF ENDZWebsite - www.OfficalRuffEndz.comInstagram - @OfficialRuffEndzFacebook - /OfficialRuffEndz#RuffEndz#NewMusic#Rebirth

David Chance discusses how the UK has fallen behind Europe on payment innovation, the regulation that can be used to catch-up, and how a little imaginative thinking can improve retail experiences and close growing equality gaps in society.
Canadians have consistently demanded more digital and modern payments options -- what changed in the last few months in the face of a global pandemic? A lot. Record rainfall has resulted in an unprecedented number of unplanted acres in 2019. Farmers must now consider how best to manage these fields for the remainder of the season. In an otherwise fallow year, cover cropping options abound during a unique summer planting window. In this episode of the Regenerative Agriculture Podcast, John Kempf hosts a panel of American Midwestern agronomists and farmers, Steve Groff, David Kleinschmidt, Brad Hobrock, and David Chance, to discuss wet weather, the inability to plant in sodden areas and the options to sow cover crops in empty fields. David Kleinschmidt, a midwestern agronomist, and owner of Progressive Agronomy Consulting Services, consults with growers across the Midwest where his in-depth knowledge of soils and soil health helps farmers realize better yields. Brad Hobrock is the owner of AgriBio Systems in Illinois where he farms several thousand acres of corn and soybeans. His voice and experience show the issues of cover cropping and weather challenges from a farmer’s perspective. David Chance, the owner of Chance Farms and several thousand acres in Indiana, shares his expertise on cover crop mixes, dry weather planting, and farm subsidies. Steve Groff, the Cover Crop Coach and founder at Cover Crop Coaching, is based in Pennsylvania. He travels across the country teaching farmers the techniques and value of cover cropping systems. John and his guests outline the challenges farmers are facing this season, with a record number of unplanted corn and soybean acres throughout the Midwest due to excessive rain and flooding. They explain how cover crops can pay for themselves by decreasing the need for fertilizer applications while improving soils and yields in subsequent years. Listen to hear a broad array of perspectives on: The benefits and drawbacks of various species and their best uses How to determine your cover crop mix with your goals and budget in mind A comparison of simple one or two-species blends versus a diverse mix of cover crops The differences between cool- and warm-season legumes The value of cover crops in diffusing herbicide residue The value of cover crops in managing carbon and nitrogen The importance of bacterial and fungal inoculation The role of crop insurance programs Which cover crops can shift the soil’s microbial population from bacterial to fungal dominance Which cover crops speed up the bioremediation process of pesticide residues in the soil profile This podcast serves as an invaluable resource for any grower whose planting window has passed without the ability to get in the field and for anyone considering the use of cover crops. The Commodore Vic-20 - History, with Brian Bagnall, Michael Tomczyk, and Neil Harris Welcome to episode 69 of the Floppy Days Podcast, where our computers may be old, but that’s why we love them. In the vintage computer timeline, we are in 1980. The next computer I want to discuss that debuted that year is the Commodore Vic-20. The Vic-20 is significant because it was the first color computer to sell for less than $300, at a time when other home computers with color graphics were 2 to 4 times that amount. It also was the first home computer of any type to sell over 1 million units. In this first episode about the Vic-20, I want to cover the history of this machine: why it was developed, some of the stories around its development, what happened after its release, and when it was canceled. To that end, I contacted some notable persons that were involved with the roll-out and support of the Vic-20, as well as a person who was involved in documenting Commodore’s history. The first person I contacted was Michael Tomczyk, who was an assistant to Jack Tramiel at Commodore and who led the so-called “Vic Commando Team”. Michael was intimately involved in the marketing and support of the Vic. In addition, a key member of his team, Neil Harris, agreed to help with this episode as well. And, finally, I talked with Brian Bagnall, who you might recognize as the author of “Commodore: A Company on the Edge”. This is an amazing line up of people who are very familiar with the Vic-20 and its history and I’m very lucky to have been able to get their assistance with telling its story. Before we jump into that, I will cover a few new vintage computer items I’ve acquired, cover a bit of news, and cover a bit of feedback I’ve received.
