Dave Landau is in the house. Marc is still on assignment covering "OJ Unseen: Exploitation of Evil" about OJ Simpson classic prank show "Juiced". We miss you, Larry King. His research was top notch. Aaron Rodgers is talking some serious crap about some of his exes. Great guy. He also popped off about vaccines and Dianna Russini on Not Just Football with Cam Heyward. Karmelo Anthony is starting to look like a bad guy. Who would have thought? More jurors spill on the deliberation in the Lindsay Clancy case. Brand new Bonerline. The University of Michigan is being sued AGAIN. This time for a hockey hazing scandal. There's MORE clips of Corey Feldman butchering songs. Jimmy Kimmel Live! is allegedly over in about a year. The Amazon Prime Air plane crash story is getting really weird. The Trial of Alec Baldwin looks like it's going to be totally fair to Alec Baldwin. We CAN'T WAIT for the Nathan Fielder/Elizabeth Holmes documentary. Jim's Picks: Top 10 Work Songs for Labor Day. Check out Dave Landau's YouTube Special dropping on Tuesday. There is controversy surrounding Zohran Mamdani and the 9/11 memorial. The Lindsay Clancy Effect: Corie Walsh. Kailey Erhart. Sarah Myers. Madeline Daly. David Mãrumbâõ isn't putting up with his girl's support of Clancy. A massive sinkhole is consuming Nicolas Cage's mansion. Perhaps dropping $82M on a park next to LA's Skid Row wasn't a very good idea. Teen Takeovers are so hot right now. We can't escape OJ Simpson as O.J. Unseen: Exploitation of Evil drops on ID. RIP Chicago Bears great Matt Suhey. Karl from WATP stops by to explain the internet enigma that is YouTuber Jerry Banfield, check out Dave & Chuck the Freak's edgy Uncut podcast, promote upcoming shows and more. Brother Bilaal owes Drew 1 book. North West sucks at music, but creepy old dudes are showing up to her show. Katie Holmes was caught frolicking with her hunky boytoy. Stephen A. Smith is beefing with Jemele Hill and Cari Champion after their three-hour interview on the Flagrant and Funny podcast was edited. Marcellus Wiley isn't having it. Joy Reid has been mad at him for quite some time. Devin Gardner was not impressed with Michigan's victory over Western Michigan or their QB Bryce Underwood. Some people are saying storming the field after beating the Broncos was pretty sad. Western Michigan took the high road but now the Mid-American Conference is popping off. What do 30,000 pieces of abandoned mail, a runaway crossbow bolt, an enormous groundhog and O.J. Simpson's attempted television comeback have in common? Unfortunately for everyone involved, they all found their way onto The Rizzuto Show. This comedy podcast kicks off with some truly impressive St. Louis mail drama. A local postal worker is facing federal charges after allegedly dumping roughly 30,000 pieces of mail over a two-year stretch instead of delivering them. That immediately sends the crew down the rabbit hole of missing bills, late fees, surprise snail mail and Rizzuto reminding everybody that his credit is fantastic. Congratulations to him. Everybody stand up and applaud the FICO score. But apparently throwing away the mail wasn't enough chaos for one morning.Next up: an Amazon delivery driver in Fenton gets the medieval experience nobody selected at checkout when a crossbow bolt travels roughly 100 yards, blasts through the windshield of his delivery van and impales multiple packages while he's working inside. Somehow, the driver avoids getting hit. The packages? Less fortunate. That leads to Moon remembering the extremely sensible combination of drinking in an Austrian castle and shooting crossbows, Rafe remembering a neighbor who got drunk and fired a crossbow inside his apartment, and everyone wondering exactly how legal backyard archery is when your “target practice” starts entering somebody else's ZIP code.Naturally, the conversation then arrives at Rizzuto's personal nemesis: a giant groundhog living next door. The groundhog keeps wandering onto Rizzuto's property and tormenting his dogs, while everyone else basically sides with the groundhog. Lern names him Justin. Moon suggests the animal may have been there first. Rizzuto reaches full Bill Murray in Caddyshack mode while attempting to figure out what animal control might actually do. At this point, Justin the Groundhog has representation and Rizzuto does not. Then this comedy podcast uncovers a television idea so baffling that it sounds fictional: O.J. Simpson's 2006 hidden-camera prank show, Juiced.Yes. Really. The show was apparently intended as part of an O.J. comeback attempt, including a prank where Simpson posed as a used-car salesman trying to sell a white Ford Bronco with a fake bullet hole. He joked about the Bronco's “escapability,” talked about making the vehicle famous and somehow participated in a production where everyone apparently decided subtlety was for cowards.Later, the crew digs into reports that people involved with the production may have had another motive: getting O.J. comfortable enough on camera to potentially say something revealing. Because apparently the history of television still had a few terrible ideas left in the tank.Crap on Celebrities brings even more entertainment gossip, including Ella Langley chasing a huge Billboard record, Tony Iommi remembering his final conversation with Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne sharing another mysterious story from her youth, an unreleased early Van Halen demo, Jimmy Kimmel retirement speculation, John Mulaney potentially stepping into Get Smart, and the news that Lori Loughlin is back on the market — information Rafe handles with tremendous professionalism.Meaning none. There's also Nicolas Cage dealing with a massive sinkhole near his Malibu home, football finally returning, King Scott settling into new-dad duty, the crew scrambling to make their picks, and preparations for another round of Read My Lips. It's St. Louis weird news, celebrity gossip, pop culture commentary, questionable memories and unnecessary groundhog warfare packed into one comedy podcast from Rizz and the gang.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
The crew survived AC/DC and Foo Fighters in St. Louis, although several functioning eardrums may have been left behind at the Dome.Today's show begins with Lern, Rafe and the gang breaking down the concert experience, including Foo Fighters battling the acoustics, AC/DC proving that age is apparently just a number when you're powered entirely by guitar riffs, and Brian Johnson and Angus Young somehow having more stamina than half the people in the crowd. Rafe admits he may have permanently sacrificed part of his hearing for rock and roll, which feels less like a medical diagnosis and more like the official AC/DC ticket upgrade. Then there's the crowd itself. Light-up devil horns. Cigarettes. Vapes. Kids experiencing their first concert. Retired working men desperately trying to make it back from the bathroom before “Back in Black.” People leaning on strangers. People recording everything. Basically, tens of thousands of humans gathering together to demonstrate why assigned seating remains one of society's most ambitious experiments.Rafe even goes from being furious about a guy vaping near him to becoming spiritually invested in the man's ability to blow vape clouds along with AC/DC. Thunderstruck changes people. Unfortunately, surviving the concert only gets Rafe to his next challenge: McDonald's.The late-night order includes nuggets, a Quarter Pounder specifically ordered without onions that arrives absolutely loaded with onions, and barbecue sauce that simply never materializes. The restaurant may technically have been open, but emotionally? Nobody involved was open. Thankfully, the emergency ten-piece nuggets came through and “put Daddy to bed,” which is probably the strongest endorsement McDonald's will receive today. And because this funny podcast refuses to behave like a normal entertainment program, the conversation keeps finding increasingly ridiculous places to go. The crew debates a viral claim involving an MMA fighter supposedly willing to fight a chimpanzee for a massive payday — an idea everyone immediately recognizes as either fake, catastrophically stupid, or possibly both. This naturally turns into gorilla encounters, terrible survival strategies, tranquilizer darts and the general reminder that humans occasionally have way too much confidence. Then comes the kindergarten rumble, because apparently even the smallest members of society are bringing chaos to the program. The next segment kicks off with some truly impressive St. Meaning none. There's also Nicolas Cage dealing with a massive sinkhole near his Malibu home, football finally returning, King Scott settling into new-dad duty, the crew scrambling to make their picks, and preparations for another round of Read My Lips.Apparently Quaaludes are back, because society looked around at everything currently happening and decided what we really needed was a pharmaceutical throwback. Reports that methaqualone — better known as Quaaludes or “ludes” — has been making an underground comeback decades after pharmaceutical production disappeared in the United States. That sends the crew straight into stories about the drug's 1970s reputation, The Wolf of Wall Street, Lern's bassist Richard remembering the old days in New York, and Rizz casually revealing that he once took what he believes was a Quaalude sometime around 1998 or 1999. How was it? He “lost the evening.” Good review. Very informative. Five stars.Of course, even Rizz admits he has no idea what he actually took, which leads directly to the episode's only useful public service announcement: no pills, no powders. Please do not go hunting for mystery pharmaceuticals because you heard the idiots on your favorite funny podcast talking about them. Then things somehow wander into Spanish fly, Bill Cosby, gas-station bathroom vending machines, Beavis and Butt-Head and a surprisingly detailed discussion about aphrodisiacs. We started with Quaaludes and ended up investigating an emerald-green blister beetle. Radio is an important medium. Thankfully, it's finally time to play Read My Lips. The rules are simple: somebody gets put into audio isolation, another member of the show silently gives them a word, and the isolated player has three chances to figure it out by reading their lips. Listeners bet on or against the contestant for prizes. Then Devon steps up and apparently activates a superpower nobody knew she had. She gets “fettuccine.” She gets “smart ass.” Campfire finally gives her some trouble, but that's only the warm-up. On her next trip into isolation, Rizz gives her “Worcestershire” — a word half the population can't pronounce while HEARING IT — and Devon gets it. Immediately. At this point, it temporarily becomes an investigation into whether Devon has been secretly reading everyone's lips for years. She follows Worcestershire by immediately getting “flapjack,” and suddenly Rafe is declaring that they've found Neo.Rizz gets his turn and manages to nail “chickenpox,” but “juxtaposition” sends him down a path involving blue jeans, trampolines and “justice of the peace.” Lern battles “burrito” before recovering with “blowtorch” and “horsefly.” Devon comes back for “ragamuffin” and gets impressively close before finally meeting her greatest enemy: the completely ridiculous word “skinflint.” Then comes Rizz's final performance. His word is “bonehead.” His guesses are not “bonehead.”Things only deteriorate when the next word is “deadbolt,” resulting in guesses that include “tadpole” and one answer that definitely demonstrates why lip reading should never be used as sworn testimony. By the end, Devon has established herself as the show's lip-reading legend, multiple listeners walk away winners, Rizz has discovered several new words that were never actually being said, and we've squeezed an unreasonable amount of chaos into less than half an hour. It's games, ridiculous stories, sarcastic humor and Rizz and the gang doing what they do best: taking something incredibly simple and making it unnecessarily complicated. In other words, another perfectly functional episode of your favorite funny podcast.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.Foo Fighters Setlist at The Dome at America's Center, St. LouisAC/DC Setlist at The Dome at America's Center, St. LouisMMA Fighter Makes the Craziest Challenge in Sports History... Spooky this morning with a bunch of fog settling in. Should warm up later and be rather nice. Look for some showers & possible thunderstorms tomorrow night, however. It's Hypothetical Thursday…where we ask each other hypothetical questions. Jean went first this morning and her question for Brian was: " " Brian's question for Jean was: "If you could get $50,000 in cash for every inch of height you lose…how tall would you be?" Office Cora also joined us just after 8am to let us know what she's up to in the 715 this weekend. And we also sang "Happy Birthday" to her as she celebrated her b-day earlier this week. In the news this morning, an update on the Nolan Wells case, a recall on jalapenos, the latest on Perez Hilton, a non-profit in Wisconsin bails out a bunch of the Madison protestors, and have you seen the Jiu Jitsu nurse??? In sports, the Brewers beat the Pirates again last night, a new winner at the WSOP, a Mets rookie does the Superhero landing after his first career strikeout, Stefon Diggs is signing with the Commanders, Jalon Walker's season is over, and Aaron Donald is getting closer to making a comeback in the NFL. We talked about what's on TV & streaming today. Plus, the Queens of the Stone Age had a complaint line, Charlie Sheen is launching a podcast, Disney has already sold all the Super Bowl ads, and a new documentary about OJ Simpson's failed "Juiced" show is coming out. A guy who survived a shark attack in the Bahamas is welcomed home by his friends & neighbors, and a 64 year-old father of five just graduated nursing school after attending alongside his son! Do you know when the average person reaches PEAK happiness??? It's apparently age 47. Elsewhere in sports, LIV golf apparently has new funding, Justin Herbert & Madison Beer can't keep their hands off each other at Chargers practice, and the Akron Zips have a unique contest for their season ticket holders. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a #FloridaMan who tried to kill a teenager because of a lobster diving spot, a doorbell camera that captured a 15 year-old kid in a clown costume who's accused of murder, a poster created by A.I. wins a contest at the Ohio State Fair and people are PISSED, a guy on a rollercoaster gets hit in the face with a shoe, a truck hauling a porta-potty leaks TP all over the highway, and a mom in Texas who left her kids at home to drive to her boyfriends house.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Ricki and Tim got fully sucked into the Enhanced Games, aka the Olympics but everyone’s absolutely JUICED. Tim was obsessed with giant deadlifters throwing around half a tonne like it was a Woolies bag, while Ricki tried to process the fact that one of the biggest names in the comp came dead last… in a four-person race. They also discovered most of the “world record failures” were losing by literal fractions of a second, which somehow made the whole thing even more dramatic. By the end, Tim was ready to launch a Normal People Olympics where he and Ricki avoid swimming purely because washing hair afterwards is too annoying.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The future of sports or a grifty marketing stunt with juiced-up athletes as salespeople? The Enhanced Games took place in Las Vegas. Races were held, prize money was awarded, one world record was "broken" in farcical scenes. Australian James 'missile' Magnussen was among the competitors who looked ripped but didn't fire. Stijn Schmitz welcomes the return of the Market Sniper himself Francis Hunt to the show. Francis is a Renegade Trader, Analyst, and the Founder of The Market Sniper. Hunt discusses the ongoing precious metals bull market, emphasizing that the current market is in the early stages of a significant economic transformation. He argues that the world is experiencing a fundamental shift away from fiat currency and towards sound money principles, with gold and silver positioned as critical assets for capital preservation. The discussion centers on the broader economic context of a debt and fiat bubble that is gradually collapsing. Hunt suggests that we are witnessing a long-term process of monetary debasement that began with the establishment of the Federal Reserve in 1913. He believes the current economic environment is characterized by systemic fraud and manipulation, with central banks and governments actively working to obscure the true economic reality. Hunt is particularly bullish on gold and silver, projecting significant price increases in the coming years. He anticipates a potential gold-silver ratio reaching single digits, which would represent a dramatic shift from current levels. Moreover, he warns about the dangers of digital currencies and tokenization, viewing these as attempts to strip individuals of financial privacy and asset ownership. Francis is critical of traditional investment assets like stocks and cryptocurrencies, arguing that they are fundamentally underperforming when measured against gold. He sees gold as the ultimate benchmark for preserving wealth during this period of economic transformation. Hunt also discusses potential opportunities in mining stocks, particularly silver miners, while cautioning about jurisdiction-specific risks. He recommends a diversified approach that includes physical precious metals, strategic mining investments, and potential options strategies. Ultimately, Hunt’s message is one of preparation and strategic positioning. He encourages investors to focus on capital preservation, understand the broader economic trends, and be prepared for significant market disruptions in the coming years. Unlike most educators in the trading space, Francis walks the walk and talks the talk, with 30 years of experience trading his personal capital on various markets and instruments. Through this passion for trading and his relentless study of markets and economic theory, he uses the Hunt Volatility Funnel trading methodology, a systemized approach, to answer the critical question: What is the next most profitable trade? He believes the actual price of an asset is the most accurate reflection of all the factors that influence it. Practical technical analysis, the study of price action over time, is needed to formulate profitable trade ideas. Indeed, with all the market manipulation and high-frequency trading operations currently in play, technical analysis is all that can be relied upon when it comes to formulating future price trends. A trained eye can often spot such manipulative practices, as is the case with HVF traders. Therefore, the HVF methodology is based purely on technical analysis. Francis is passionate about sharing his knowledge and understanding of markets by utilizing his HVF trading methodology. With entertaining anecdotes and the careful guidance of his students, he has already trained a large community of hundreds of traders and helped them transform from complete newbies to seasoned trading professionals. He genuinely loves sharing his knowledge and strategies with others who are committed to finding freedom through trading. Plus, teaching strengthens his trading abilities while helping to build a vibrant community of successful traders.
