We all are to be faithful servants in the kingdom of God. Today we hear the stories of some faithful woman of God and there roles in the kingdom.
This message is on the Parable of the Minas (pounds, KJV), which Jesus gave to the disciples because they assumed the kingdom would appear immediately (19:11). Jesus corrected them that His main mission as to seek and to save the lost (19:10). He was about to leave to receive the kingdom. His servants would remain to invest His minas for increase (spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth) in His absence. They were also warned that they would give account for their service when He returned.

How have we forwarded the mission of Jesus and been good stewards of the Kingdom?
As we're faithful to our God-given calling and serving the Lord in the place He has for us, we're not always going to be appreciated or thanked! In fact many times we'll be unfairly criticized, or mistreated. That was the case for the apostle Paul as we'll learn today on a Daily Walk. Pastor John Randall is about to show us how to maintain the right perspective when we're in those environments. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29

If you are a follower of Christ, then every aspect of your life is a gift given to you for the purpose of investment.
Maybe you're under the impression that now you're saved and on your way to heaven you can just go to a secluded island, relax on a hammock and drink iced tea all day, for the rest of your life. The reality is God has a plan and purpose for our lives that includes service of some kind. His Spirit comes into our lives encouraging us to be like Christ and live for the glory of God! Today on a Daily Walk Pastor John Randall shows us what a privilege it is to be the temple of God, and serving Jesus in our daily walk. In Matthew 25, we read about servants who stewarded what was given to them with diligence and wisdom. They were later described as good and faithful servants. As dads, we have been entrusted with priceless gifts and I believe we should also strive to be good, faithful, and servants. Being good can be subjective but I'll give you a definition and question to constantly ask yourself to make sure what you are doing is good. Faithfulness is usually tied to religion and marriage but there is also an application in reference to fatherhood that we must understand. Lastly, there is an understanding of servanthood that isn't popular but as leaders to our children and in our homes, it is essential for us to embrace. If we want to do well as dads, we need to pursue being good, faithful, and servants. -- For more content make sure to check out https://fatheringourfuture.com/ and if you'd like to support this effort visit: https://fatheringourfuture.com/support/

Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the UniverseWhat a person says at significant life moments such as at graduations and funerals matters. Those listening also expect speakers to offer something significant and even memorable. Certainly, at the side of someone's death bed we pay special attention to a person's last requests and final declarations. What Christ spoke to his disciples towards the end of his own life is now proclaimed at the end of the Church year. His words are chosen carefully. We should listen closely. What do we hear? Christ says that when we feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, comfort those who are lonely, visit prisoners, and take care of the ill and addicted, we are not simply ministering to people we may or may not know, rather we are serving Him. For what you did for the least of my brothers you did for me.Scripture Readings for November 26, 2023Ezekiel 34:11-12, 15-17Psalm 23:1-3, 5,6 1 Corinthians 15:20-26, 28Matthew 25:31-46

The Day of the Lord is “near and hastening fast,” and it will be “a day of distress and anguish, a day of ruin and devastation” (Zeph. 1:14, 15). The Lord will search out and punish “the men who are complacent” concerning His Word, “who fill their master's house with violence and fraud” (Zeph. 1:9, 12). Then all their works and efforts will be for nothing: “Though they build houses, they shall not inhabit them; though they plant vineyards, they shall not drink wine from them” (Zeph. 1:13). But those who fear, love and trust in the Lord are “good and faithful” stewards of His property (Matt. 25:21). They live by faith in His free gift of forgiveness, and they multiply His goods in the loving forgiveness of their neighbor, and “the Master of those servants” settles His accounts with them by the gracious reckoning of His Gospel (Matt. 25:19). Likewise, “God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thess. 5:9). Therefore, let us also “put on the breastplate of faith and love” in our dealings with one another (1 Thess. 5:8). ----- Trinity Lutheran Church, School and Child Care have been "Making Known the Love of Christ" in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and throughout the world since 1853 as a congregation gathering around God's Word and Sacraments to receive forgiveness and life everlasting. In this message entitled "Faithful Servants", Pastor Chan discusses three things Paul writes about that describe a faithful servant of Christ. First, a faithful servant suffers through persecution with joy. Second, a faithful servant strives toward the mission of the Church. And third, a faithful servant strengthens their brothers and sisters in Christ.

1 Corinthians 4:1-7 English Standard VersionThe Ministry of Apostles4 This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4 For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me.5 Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.6 I have applied all these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favor of one against another. 7 For who sees anything different in you? What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?English Standard Version (ESV)The Holy Bible, English Standard Version.
