You ever have these moments where you feel like youre stuck in life and you don't understand why? What if I told you it was because you were serving a FALSE KING. There are people in your life who are LOW, who are DRAGGING you down, and stunting you from lifting up. We know who the people are but yet we let them cling on to us, bc we need money, a social life, or are building a resume. If you're sacrificing a piece of yourself for materialistic gains...Blessings and abundance ain't coming for you. You can get the dream job, have a fat bank account without selling your soul. You just don't believe it, and keep putting yourself in dumb situations, sabotaging yourself from achieving what you really want. If it doesnt feel good in your soul STOP doing it.

We continue our discussion of the journey led by Joseph after the death of Jacob and the possible reasons he stopped to mourn for seven days at Abel Mizraim “beyond the Jordan,” probably the ruined city of Sodom, a route that took the entourage the long way around the Dead Sea before circling back to Jacob's final resting place at Hebron. Evidence suggests the god worshiped at Sodom was Baal-Peor, who we believe was the Canaanite creator-god El—an entity Derek identifies in his forthcoming book as Shemihazah, leader of the rebellious Watchers in 1 Enoch, and Saturn, whose return to lead a new golden age was prophesied by the Roman poet Virgil more than 2,000 years ago. More important, El is identified as Milcom, “the abomination of the Ammonites,” for whom Solomon built a cult site on the Mount of Olives, looking down on the Temple of God. Kelsey Waldon is a charming and heart-rending at the same time. With a twinkle in her eye she can pierce you with melancholy or shiv a rival with icy cool worthy of Loretta Lynn. The latter was more the feeling of opening song “False King” with a hook I love: “You can’t place a crown on the head of a clown and hope he turns out to be a king.” Kind of reminded me of current events. There were curtains of gorgeous steel guitar from Brett Resnick, notably the solo on set closer “All By Myself.” Also sweet was Walson’s slow rocking take on Bill Monroe’s “Travelin’ Down This Lonesome Road.” She knows lonesome and she showed it.

John 19:1-7 - It is a punishable offense to impersonate a law enforcement officer. If you are not an officer of the law, it is wrong to wear the uniform, it is wrong to wear the badge. In the spiritual realm, this is the charge brought against us in the court of God. It is a capital offense in the laws of God to claim to be king of our own lives and god of our own destinies when we are not. Yet that is what all of us persist in doing. Jesus looked ridiculous wearing a crown of thorns and a faded military robe - but, the point is, He was our substitute, taking our place. How ridiculous we look pretending to be a king when we are not. And for this, Jesus was put to death - in our place. Jesus Christ, our Saviour, the true King, bore the mockery and death deserved by us, the false king. (33:52)
