Democrats and Republicans are locked in fierce redistricting battles nationwide—maneuvers that could shift the balance of power in the upcoming midterm elections. Congressman Mike Lawler (R-NY) joins the Rundown to discuss these high-stakes redistricting fights, what impact the ‘Big Beautiful Bill' may have on voters ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, and how the rise of progressive Democrats may influence crime across the country. Earlier this year, National Guard troops were sent to Los Angeles. Now, they're in Washington, D.C., and hundreds have been arrested following President Trump's declaration of a public safety emergency and deployment of the National Guard. Meanwhile, the Justice Department's investigation into whether crime statistics were manipulated to suggest a decline in crime in our nation's capital—a claim denied by city officials. Fox News Sunday anchor Shannon Bream joins the podcast with the latest on the President's D.C. crackdown, Russia-Ukraine peace progress, and redistricting. Plus, commentary from former congressman and host of The Jason In The House podcast, Jason Chaffetz. Photo Credit: AP Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

The latest FOX News poll results show 79% of Americans do believe Iran poses a serious threat, with 78% saying they are “extremely worried about Iran acquiring a nuclear bomb.” President Trump has stressed that while he is not angling for U.S. involvement and he would have preferred they just signed a fair nuclear deal, he firmly believes we cannot allow Tehran to have a nuclear weapon. In two weeks' time, his administration will make a decision on U.S. involvement. FOX News Sunday anchor Shannon Bream joins to discuss the political repercussions of the President's decision in the Middle East. In hour 1, protests have began in the Saint Louis area, but they have been only peaceful so far. However, we are expecting protests to get less peaceful over the weekend. We also hear today's national anthem from Carrie Underwood! Marc & Kim dive into the biggest stories of the day in The Shortlist, as well as discussing the fact that these protestors have some sort of funding to put them where they're at. What does AI mean? The FDA is using AI in a new way, but is facing some pushback from employees as well as the community. The FDA assures the community that this is something that will be a good thing. There has been an ongoing issue in the Francis Howell school district. A female student is scared to use the bathroom because a biological male is using the restroom. How is this allowed? In hour 2, the 'no kings' protest has been given a new nickname. They are calling it "the National Day of Defiance." Marc & Kim dive into the biggest stories of the day in The Shortlist. Law enforcement continue to be attacked in Los Angeles, but a fed-up citizen has had enough and decides to stand up to one of them. Tom Ackerman, KMOX Sports Director, joins the show to discuss Cardinals baseball, Rams allocation money for renovations at the dome and curiosity if the Battlehawks and UFL will be able to survive after this season. An unusual car chase has taken place involving a tractor. Most people enjoy sleeping with their dogs, but how well do you sleep when your pet sleeps in your bed with you? In hour 3, Marc & Kim dive into the biggest stories of the day in The Shortlist, as well as interviews and soundbites that have been pulled from the protests. The new trend when celebrities win an award, is for them to call out the injustice of the country and of President Trump instead of thanking people and their fans. Trump and Vance went to a show at the Kennedy Center last night, and it had some actors protesting the performance. Some people carry a quiet confidence that makes you lean in—not because they're trying to impress, but because they've lived it. That's Shannon Bream. As the anchor of FOX News Sunday and chief legal correspondent for FOX News, Shannon brings credibility and calm to every conversation she's in—and this one was no different. We talked about her journey from practicing law to starting from scratch in journalism, why getting fired early on was a blessing in disguise, and how she navigated the pressure of pageant culture while building confidence in her own voice. She also opened up about her early marriage, when her husband was battling a major health challenge. Instead of pulling them apart, that experience pulled them closer. Through financial struggles, uncertainty, and a total career reset, Shannon leaned on her faith and found new purpose along the way. This week, a tug-of-war over the Trump administration's sweeping tariffs imposed using the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977. The Court of International Trade blocked President Trump's tariffs, arguing the act did not give the President unbounded tariff authority. The White House economic team is confident the administration will defeat this legal challenge, with an appeals court already ruling that these tariffs can remain in effect pending the appeal. FOX News Sunday anchor Shannon Bream joins the Rundown to highlight this legal challenge to the President's tariffs, Elon Musk's departure from the Trump administration, and investigations being launched into the Biden administration. President Trump wants a lot more nuclear power production in the United States, signing executive orders a week ago focused on quadrupling U.S. capacity within 25 years. Nuclear power has long been associated with high-profile disasters and fears of mishaps, but nuclear advocates say it actually is cleaner and safer than fossil fuels. Jacob DeWitte is the co-founder and CEO of nuclear technology company Oklo, and he was at the executive order signing. He joins the podcast to explain the strides made in making nuclear reactors safer and more efficient. Plus, commentary from FOX News Digital columnist David Marcus.
