Continuing through 1 Timothy. We resume the discussion about chapter 4 from our previous sermon "Be Faithful" given on September 14, 2025. Paul warns Timothy that in the end times there will be deceiving spirits and false prophets leading people astray with doctrines of demons. Timothy, on the other hand, is told by Paul not to be led astray but continue in the faith. As we look at Joseph's life, we can glean valuable lessons that are highly relevant to our current times. Be Faithful in Small Things Genesis 39:4 "So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority." 2. Maintain Integrity, Even in Adversity Genesis 39:9 "There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?" 3. Revelation 2:8-11 contains a message from Jesus Christ to people who are suffering. Jesus acknowledges the suffering, poverty, and persecution the church faces but reassures them that they are spiritually rich. Jesus gives us two instructions: 1. Do Not Fear and 2. Be Faithful. Then Jesus gives us two reasons to have hope in the midst of suffering: 1. Jesus promises the crown of life to those who are faithful and 2. Jesus reassures them that those who overcome will not be hurt by the second death. Join us at cefc.church.

Healthy churches never quit fighting for the faith. 1. Flee. “But as for you, O man of God, flee these things.” — 1 Timothy 6:11a 2. Pursue “Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.” — 1 Timothy 6:11b Separation without consecration leads to isolation. 3. Fight “Fight the good fight of the faith. Be Faithful, No Matter What. This week Pastor Kurt Cullison brings a message from the book of Acts chapter 20. In the book of Acts, the apostle Paul exemplifies a life of complete dedication and commitment to his mission and to God.
