What if the conflict in our relationships is not really between men and women, but between the parts of ourselves we have never learned how to bring together? In this conversation, I sit down with Justin Patrick Pierce, relationship consultant, teacher, writer and long-time student of sacred sexuality, intimacy, polarity and non-duality. Justin's work moves beyond the usual conversations around masculine and feminine. He is not interested in dragging us back into old gender roles, or giving people another rigid script for how men and women should behave. Instead, he offers a more nuanced and practical language for understanding the forces that move through all of us: awareness and energy, stillness and feeling, desire and surrender, Alpha and Omega. We speak about the crisis many couples are facing now, where two people can love each other deeply, build a life together, and still feel like they are missing each other in the places that matter most. Sex becomes strained. Desire becomes confusing. One person wants closeness while the other wants space. One person feels unseen while the other feels burdened. And slowly, the relationship becomes less a place of intimacy and more a place of quiet conflict. At the heart of Justin's work is a simple but profound question: how do we stop making our partner the enemy, and begin to see relationship itself as the place where our deepest spiritual practice begins?   This is a conversation about love, desire, sacred sex, masculine and feminine polarity, the longing to be free, and the strange ways we sabotage the intimacy we most deeply want. It is also about why trying to escape relationship may be the very thing that keeps us trapped. And what becomes possible when we stop looking for freedom outside the moment, and instead learn how to meet the person in front of us with more presence, more truth, and more love. At its heart, this episode is an invitation to rethink intimacy. Not as something we perform. Not as something we control. But as a living practice, one that asks us to see more clearly, feel more honestly, and come closer to the parts of ourselves and each other we have spent a lifetime trying to avoid.   About Justin Patrick Pierce has spent sixteen years in an intimate laboratory: his own marriage to Londin Angel Winters. Developing, testing, and refining a body of work on sacred sexuality and spiritual intimacy. He is not a therapist. He is not a theorist. He is a practitioner who teaches what he lives, and who lives what he teaches. His approach is nondual at its root: beneath the dance of Alpha and Omega, there is one consciousness knowing itself through the polarity of two. Understanding this changes everything about how you meet your partner, your desire, and yourself. Teaching alongside him is Londin Angel Winters, sacred intimacy teacher, devoted practitioner, and the other half of this work. Londin leads the Women's Circle and co-leads the Couples Practice. She is co-author of both books. Her teaching lives in the body, breath, sensation, desire, the places women have learned to shut down. She doesn't teach concepts. She teaches women how to feel again.   Feelings with Strangers YouTube https://www.youtube.com/@FeelingswithStrangers/videos Socials https://www.instagram.com/feelings.with.strangers/   Justin Patrick Peirce  Site www.JustinPatrickPierce.com Socials https://www.instagram.com/JustinPatrickPierce Books Playing With Fire: The Spiritual Path of Intimate Relationship &  The Awakened Woman's Guide to Everlasting Love,

Matthew 15:29-16:4 | Kingdom Now: The Prerequisites of Grace

In this message from Matthew 15:29–16:4, Pastor Karl examines two very different groups of people who come to Jesus — and what their approach reveals about how we receive grace. The first group comes from the Decapolis, a Gentile region with no religious standing or covenant claim. They bring broken bodies, unspoken needs, and nothing to offer — and Jesus meets them with compassion, healing, and even provision they didn't know to ask for. The second group, the Pharisees and Sadducees, arrives with suspicion and a demand for proof — and Jesus refuses to perform for them. The contrast surfaces a powerful truth: Jesus has endless compassion for those who come to him needy, but no obligation to satisfy those who come feeling entitled. Unworthiness isn't a disqualification for grace — it's the prerequisite for it.Pastor Karl unpacks why the disciples hesitated to feed the 4,000 (it wasn't that they forgot what Jesus could do — it was that they questioned who he'd do it for), what it really means to "fall from grace," and why the cross is the only reliable lens through which to interpret God's love. When we bring our "not enough" to Jesus, we find that inadequacy is exactly the raw material he's looking for.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:00am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm

This episode is an encore presentation from the BS Free MD archives — and worth a second listen. Drs. May and Tim Hindmarsh welcome marriage coaches Dr. Jeep and Vanessa Naum back to BS Free MD for a wide-ranging conversation on what actually sustains a marriage long-term. The four longtime friends — coincidentally going through home sales and life transitions on opposite coasts — dig into the conversations couples should be having before the wedding and throughout the marriage: where to live, whose career takes priority, how many kids to have, religion, finances, in-laws, and shared interests. The Naums share personal stories, including Vanessa's sacrifice to move back to the Pittsburgh/Wheeling area so Jeep could fulfill his dream of practicing with his father, and Jeep's hard lesson in "financial infidelity" involving Thomas Kinkade paintings. The group unpacks why marriage is built on trust and commitment more than love, the importance of joint accounts and regular financial "state of the union" meetings, the power of delayed reward, the danger of losing individuality, and how to set boundaries with in-laws. With humor and candor, they remind listeners that nobody on their deathbed regrets driving a smaller car — they regret the time they didn't spend with the people they loved. Guest Bios Dr. George P. In this concluding message of Matthew 13, Pastor Karl unpacks the final three parables of Jesus — the Hidden Treasure, the Pearl of Great Price, and the Net — and challenges the common interpretations most of us have grown up hearing.Rather than reading these parables through a modern American lens, Pastor Karl takes us back into a first-century Jewish mindset to uncover what Jesus was really communicating. The treasure hidden in the field isn't something we purchase with our devotion — it's a picture of Jesus himself, who in joy gave everything to redeem his chosen people. The pearl of great price wasn't a treasure to the Jews at all, which is exactly the point: Jesus was revealing the shocking mystery that Gentiles — the unclean, the outsiders — would be included in the kingdom of God. And the parable of the net reminds us that not all roads lead to heaven, and that a day of separation is coming.Pastor Karl also draws a striking connection to the book of Ruth, showing how Boaz purchasing the field to gain Ruth as his bride foreshadowed what Jesus would do for his people — buying the field to possess the treasure within it.The message closes with one of the hardest passages for any pastor to preach at his own church: Jesus returning to his hometown, only to be met with familiarity and low expectation. The takeaway is pointed — low expectation limits reception. The messenger can be overlooked, but the message cannot: God chose to treasure you, not because of anything you offered, but because of the price his Son was willing to pay.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:00am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm

In this message, Pastor Karl wraps up the church's three-week study of Matthew 12 — what he calls the hinge point of Jesus's ministry and of all human history. Drawing from verses 40 through 50, he unpacks three powerful moments that reveal the heart of what Jesus was communicating to a resistant generation.Pastor Karl begins with Jesus's references to Jonah and the Queen of Sheba, showing how Jesus used these figures to slam the door on the demand for endless proof. The issue, he argues, was never a lack of evidence — it was a lack of surrender. Unbelief isn't intellectual; it's volitional. From there, Pastor Karl digs into one of the most misunderstood passages in Matthew: the parable of the empty house. When an unclean spirit returns to find a swept but empty home, it brings seven more spirits worse than itself. Jesus's point is sobering — moral reform without spiritual transformation is a setup for collapse. Cleaning up your life in your own strength, without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, leaves you more vulnerable than before, not less. Finally, Pastor Karl addresses Jesus's surprising response to his own family, and what it reveals about who truly belongs to the family of God. It isn't inherited proximity or religious familiarity — it's submission and obedience to the Father. This episode is a challenge and an encouragement: stop trying to clean the house on your own. The victorious life Jesus offers isn't just about forgiveness — it's about being filled and clothed in the power of the Holy Spirit.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:00am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm

The Strange Brew - artist stories behind the greatest music ever recorded

It’s been over a decade since I last spoke to Steve Ellis, and it felt like no time had passed at all. That’s the thing about Steve, he just pulls you straight back in. The prompt for this catch-up was his latest release, Love Affair – Edinburgh Live 1995. The story of how it came to exist, a phone call at 7pm asking if they could record a live album that same night, is pure Steve Ellis. From there we tumbled into his soul and Motown roots, the mod scene, and his deep connection with Steve Marriott and the Small Faces. Then there’s the legendary Eros fountain stunt – the arrest and how it helped send ‘Everlasting Love’ to number one. On the solo front, we cover his friendship and collaborations with Paul Weller and Roger Daltrey. And as a parting shot, Steve reveals a new album is in the bag, and by the sound of it, well worth the wait. God's love is not seasonal or conditional—it is everlasting. In this powerful and deeply personal message, Charley Elliott unfolds the heart of the Father and reveals a truth many believers know about but have never fully experienced: God loves you the same way He loves Jesus.Drawing from Jeremiah 31, John 17, and the story of the prodigal son, this message paints a clear picture of a Father who draws His children home not with fear or pressure, but with lovingkindness. You'll be reminded that there is nothing you can do to make God love you more—and nothing you can do to make Him love you less. His love was His idea, not yours.Through Scripture and lived experience, this message breaks the lie that we are merely servants trying to earn God's approval. We are sons and daughters. We are invited into relationship, friendship, and daily connection with a Father who knows exactly how to love us personally and perfectly. If you've ever struggled with feeling distant from God, unworthy, or unsure of where you belong, this message is an invitation to come home—to the Father you've always needed, the love you were created for, and the identity Jesus secured for you at the cross.Key Scriptures:Jeremiah 31:3 • John 17:20–23 • Ephesians 3:17–19 • Luke 15#EverlastingLove #FatherHeartOfGod #ComeHome #IdentityInChrist #LovedByGod #ChristianTeaching #WestsideChurch #GodIsLove #Church #God #Jesus #Forgiveness #Truth #Bible #Faith Support the show

Around the Word in 180 Days (AW180) is a podcast/blog where we read the Bible with our brothers and sisters in the public schools. My name is Karen and I am your host for the program and for the 2025-2026 school year our theme, Prayers-Praises-Promises. We will read the promises of God, pray the promises and praise God using His Word. The Promises of God are read categorically one each school day and then we will pray that promise. We will praise God using a different Scripture each time and read the Daily Devotionals from Christian Educators. Please join us using Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Prime or Podomatic. This podcast and its accompanying blog is one of many tools for your role as Christ's ambassador this school year. Each daily show is designed to be 15 minutes or less with the busy educator in mind. You are encouraged to share with your colleagues.

On this episode for August 23rd, 2025, your Bible Reading Coach, Hunter, guides us through a rich journey in the Scriptures, exploring Jeremiah 31 and 32, followed by First John 4. As we listen to God's promises of restoration, Hunter unpacks the profound declaration of a new covenant—a covenant not written on tablets of stone, but on our very hearts. We also pause with John's letter to consider the nature of true love, the assurance we have as God's children, and the freedom that perfect love brings from fear and shame. Join us for moments of scripture, insight, and heartfelt prayer as we reflect on God's everlasting love, the invitation to live in peace and gratitude, and the challenge to let love—God's own love—shape every part of our daily lives. Whether you're seeking encouragement or a deeper connection with God, this episode offers a fresh reminder: you are loved, and God has made a way for you. Let's spend these few moments together, listening and growing in the presence of the One who is love. TODAY'S DEVOTION: A new covenant, a new heart, a new hope. Jeremiah is given a prophecy from the Lord about a coming day—a day when God himself will do something entirely new. God promises to write his covenant, not just on tablets of stone, nor simply in laws and rituals, but deep within his people, written upon their very hearts. The old covenant—well-intentioned, but forever frustrated by human weakness—would give way to something greater. The life that this first covenant called for would finally be lived out in perfection, not by us, but by His Son. Jesus, the spotless Lamb, lived a life of love and obedience, fulfilling what Israel and all of us could not. By his loving sacrifice, he has reconciled us—broken, exhausted, rebellious exiles—back to God. This is God's new work: he has taken the old, hardened heart of Adam and replaced it with a new heart, a heart that desires fellowship, love, and communion with God. Where shame, guilt, and fear once reigned, God plants a new covenant, a new hope, a new person. He does not merely repair us; he remakes us. “I will put my instructions deep within them,” Jeremiah says. “I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” This is not something we accomplish—it is something God has done for us, out of his unending love. The apostle John says it so plainly: “God is love. And all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.” God's perfect love has made a way for us to live free—free from condemnation, free from shame, free from fear. As we continue to trust, to abide, and to participate with Him, our lives are gradually transformed. Our love grows more perfect. We begin to live as those who are truly loved, loving others, and living with confidence. Fear loses its grip, because perfect love expels all fear. This good news—the news of a new covenant written on our hearts, of lives made new in love—is for us and for the world. Let us awaken each day to this reality. God's love is not just something we hear about; it has been poured into our hearts, making us new people, with a new purpose and a new hope. That's a prayer I have for my own soul, to live in this love, to participate in it, to let it drive out fear, condemnation, shame, and guilt. I pray that for my family—my wife, my daughters, my son. And that's the prayer I have for you, too. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Almighty and ever loving God, you have brought us to the light of a new morning. Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may walk this day in peace. Guard our steps from temptation. Shield us from the weight of fear and shame, and lead us deeper into the joy of your presence, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. O Christ, light of the nations, shine in every place where shadows dwell. Call the scattered home, heal the wounds of division and gather all people into the communion of your grace. May the knowledge of the Lord cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Amen. And now, Lord, make my hands ready for mercy. Make my eyes quick to see the hurting, my ears open to the cry of the lonely, and my feet swift to bring good news. Let me seek to bless, not to be noticed, to serve, not to be praised, to forgive, not to hold back. For in your way is life, in your mercy is healing, and in your love is the peace this world cannot give. Amen. And now, as our Lord has taught us, we are bold to Pray: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.   OUR WEBSITE: www.dailyradiobible.com We are reading through the New Living Translation.   Leave us a voicemail HERE: https://www.speakpipe.com/dailyradiobible Subscribe to us at YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Dailyradiobible/featured OTHER PODCASTS: Listen with Apple Podcast DAILY BIBLE FOR KIDS DAILY PSALMS DAILY PROVERBS DAILY LECTIONARY DAILY CHRONOLOGICAL

Romans 8:31-39 ESV God's Everlasting Love31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be[a] against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.[b] 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written,“For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What was billed as Joe Biden's first post-presidential speech, turned out to be a disaster. However, the mainstream media, most namely the Wallstreet Journal, is still running cover for him, argues Victor Davis Hanson on today's edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words:”   “But my point is this the Wall Street Journal headline was that he attacks Trump, accuses him of cutting Social Security. And the article said that [Biden] looked ‘rested.'   “That was just a complete distortion. And when you start looking every single day, as I'm doing, if it's tariffs, it's a disaster. If it's DOGE, it's a disaster. If it's Ukraine, Trump is doing something wrong, he's favored Putin too much. It's a disaster.   “Everything. If it's the mistakenly deported Mr. Garcia, there's no background about who Mr. Garcia really is. It's a disaster. Almost every article it's like an itch or a twitch—is negative, negative, negative, negative.”
