Recent reports have come to light where players involved with the Northwestern football program have been uncomfortable with team rituals. An internal investigation took place, but the full report was withheld leading to the campus paper to pick up the full story and report on it. The pod highlights how this mismanaged report could cost Pat Fitzgerald his job. The longtime Northwestern coach could very well be out the door after the story and hazing allegations have picked up steam over the weekend. Former West Virginia basketball coach Bob Huggins wants to remain with the team after stating his resignation announcement wasn't real. Huggins, who left the Mountaineers after a DUI, has hired an attorney to plead his case that he never formally resigned. Labor Day weekend in Okoboji is always packed with music and fun and Okoboji Tourism Director Rebecca Peters has the lowdown on where and when you should make your plans this holiday weekend. The entertainment abounds from all points in the Iowa Great Lakes plus the dedication of the Berkley Bedell State Pier at Arnolds Park Amusement Park. The forecast is sunny skies and tons of fun this Labor Day weekend in Okoboji.

Krissy Thiessen grew up in Spirt Lake, Iowa, and now owns and farms with her spouse at Cherry Lane Farms. They began growing microgreens in their basement and soon became a much larger local farming operation, adding more produce and distributing to restaurants and super markets in the tri-state area. Thiessen is also a board member of the Farmers Market at the Park; which had it's inaugural season summer 2019 and is gearing up for summer as this episode airs. Once the eggs are fertilized and the fish have hatched, they are released in different bodies of water throughout Iowa.
