Jesus in Numbers: Our Faithful Guide, Healer, and Victor | Pastor Verna DeHartIn this message from the Jesus Revealed in Every Book of the Bible series, Pastor Verna DeHart reveals how the book of Numbers points us directly to Jesus the One who leads us through the wilderness, heals us when we look to Him, and gives us victory over every giant.Through the story of the bronze serpent, this teaching shows how faith is released when we shift our focus from pain and fear to God's provision. Just as Israel was healed by looking up, we are healed, delivered, and saved by looking to Christ and trusting the finished work of the cross. This episode highlights: Jesus as our Shepherd and Guide God's patience and mercy in seasons of struggle The spiritual danger of complaining and the power of repentance Why healing flows when faith is activated by focus How Jesus makes us more than conquerors Battle Seed Promise:“My God will liberally supply your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19 (AMPC)
Exodus is more than a story of escape—it is a revelation of Jesus. In this powerful message from the series Jesus Revealed in Every Book of the Bible, we uncover how Christ is revealed throughout the book of Exodus as the Deliverer, the Passover Lamb, the daily Provider, and the God who dwells with His people. In “Delivered by the Blood: Jesus Revealed in Exodus,” we trace the scarlet thread of redemption from the blood on the doorposts to the cross of Christ. Deliverance was never about worthiness—it was always about obedience and the blood. When God saw the blood, judgment passed over, and freedom began. This message reveals that Jesus doesn't just bring us out of bondage—He brings us into freedom, abundance, and identity. Just as Israel was delivered from Egypt, Jesus still delivers us today from modern forms of bondage such as fear, old identities, emotional wounds, religious striving, people-pleasing, scarcity thinking, and self-reliance.We also see Jesus revealed in the burning bush—meeting Moses in hidden places with holy purpose—and in the manna from heaven, teaching us daily dependence. Finally, Exodus points us to God's deepest desire: to dwell with His people, a promise fully fulfilled in Christ.Rooted in Exodus 3:7–8, this message reminds us that God sees our affliction, hears our cry, knows our pain, and comes down to deliver us—not into survival, but into a spacious place of freedom and abundance. The same Jesus who delivered then is still delivering today. In 2026, we walk redeemed, free, nourished by heaven, and aware of His presence—because we are delivered by the blood.
Jesus is revealed from the very first pages of Scripture. In this message from the series Jesus Revealed in Every Book of the Bible: The Scarlet Thread Through Scripture, we journey through Genesis to uncover God's redemptive plan that was set in motion before the fall ever occurred. From the promise of the Seed of the woman in Genesis 3:15 to Jesus revealed as Creator, Redeemer, and Covering, this teaching shows how Christ is woven through creation, covenant, sacrifice, and identity. You'll discover how Genesis points to the cross, the resurrection, and the restoration of humanity—and how God meets people personally in their failure, fear, and wrestling to bring transformation and new identity. This message reminds us that redemption was not an afterthought, Jesus was God's plan from the beginning, and nothing in your life is beyond His power to redeem.
Originally presented in La Jolla, CA on April 24, 1994, this recording is the result of our work digitizing over 600 cassette tapes of Elisabeth's talks. Each tape is decades old and the quality of the recordings varies quite a bit from tape to tape. As we preserve Elisabeth's legacy, we will share as much of her work as possible, even when technical issues affect the quality of the audio. Each talk is unique in content and tone. Listen in as Pastor Gray teaches us on the revelation of Jesus in scripture.
Long before Bethlehem. Long before the manger. Long before a cross was ever lifted on a hill, God was already revealing Jesus. In today's Advent message we dig into one of the most powerful foreshadowings of Christ in the entire Old Testament. From God's call to Abraham, to the faith test on Mount Moriah, to the breathtaking moment when “the angel of the Lord” (the pre-incarnate Christ!) speaks from heaven—this story prepares our hearts to see Jesus in a whole new way. This sermon walks through: How Abraham's life foreshadows Jesus's coming and sacrifice The remarkable story of Isaac carrying wood up a mountain (2,000 years before Jesus did the same) How Christophanies (pre-incarnate Christ appearances) reveal Jesus in the Old Testament Why this ancient story matters for your faith TODAY How God's promises extend to you if you've placed your faith in Jesus As continue through The Jesse Tree this Advent season, we trace the family line of Jesus back to its roots—and discover that God's PROMISES, His FAITHFULNESS, and His PROVISION have been pointing to Christ from the very beginning. The Old Testament isn't just ancient history—it's a love letter revealing Jesus. If you need a reminder that God is still at work in your life even when you've messed up, this message will encourage your heart. Abraham's failures didn't disqualify him from God's blessing and neither do yours. God Loves YOU. Where are you seeing Jesus at work in your life this week? Let us know in the comments below! Need to go deeper? Study the Old Testament with eyes to see Jesus—it will transform your faith!

Jesus Revealed
Mark 1:21-34 Main Point: Jesus is the ___ and ___ Son of God Application 1: Bring your ___ to Jesus Lie 1: Jesus is ___ Lie 2: It won't ___ Application 2: But, Jesus came for our ___
Join us this Sunday as we launch our new sermon series in Revelation. The opening shows us that this book is all about Jesus, spoken in urgent and timely words for His people. We'll see why God promises blessing to everyone who hears and holds fast to this message.
In John 1:1–34, we see Jesus revealed as God's nature, power, and will made flesh. As God's witnesses, we are called not just to speak about Him but to embody His truth in how we walk with others. This message challenges us to ask: Am I trying to tell others what to do, or am I walking with them so they can truly see Jesus?
In this powerful exploration of Revelation chapter 1, we're invited to see Jesus revealed in a new light. The vivid imagery of Christ standing among seven lampstands, with eyes like flames of fire and a voice like rushing waters, isn't meant to frighten us, but to draw us closer. This Jesus holds the keys to death and Hades, having conquered them through His death and resurrection. We're challenged to consider: what parts of our lives are we still holding back from God? Like knights baptized with swords held above water, we often try to keep control over certain areas. Yet Christ calls us to full surrender, promising that His fiery gaze will burn away anything separating us from Him. This message urges us to fall at Jesus' feet in awe, but also to rise up, empowered by His touch and reassuring words: 'Fear not.' As we contemplate this revelation of Christ, we're encouraged to let Him reveal areas in our lives that need transformation, trusting in His love and authority over all things.
In this powerful exploration of Revelation 1:9-20, we're invited to see Jesus as He truly is - the cosmic Christ walking among us. This vivid description challenges our often sanitized view of Jesus, revealing Him in all His glory and majesty. The passage paints a picture of Christ that's both awe-inspiring and intimidating, reminding us of His supreme authority and power. Yet, this same Jesus, in all His glory, chooses to walk among His churches, demonstrating His unfailing love and commitment to us. This revelation calls us to approach our faith with both reverent fear and bold confidence. We're encouraged to see beyond the 'matrix' of our everyday lives and recognize the spiritual realities at work around us. How might this vision of Christ transform our worship, our prayers, and our daily walk with Him?
Next Level Soul with Alex Ferrari: A Spirituality & Personal Growth Podcast
On today's episode, we welcome the profoundly insightful Christina Lopes. She takes us on a journey through the intricate and often tumultuous path of spiritual awakening, sharing her own transformative experiences with a sincerity that is both moving and inspiring. Christina, a former clinician and physical therapist specializing in neuro-pediatrics, had a life that seemed ordinary on the surface. However, beneath this exterior, she harbored a profound spiritual sensitivity and a lineage of powerful healers, particularly from her maternal grandmother, who was known as the village witch in her hometown. Christina's spiritual journey began in earnest in 2013, triggered by a series of personal upheavals, including the end of her marriage. This period of crisis catalyzed her awakening, pushing her to confront deep-seated traumas and fears that had plagued her since childhood. As a child, Christina was extraordinarily sensitive to spiritual energies, often tormented by what she now identifies as shadow entities. These experiences, coupled with the traumatic environment due to her father's illness, filled her early years with anxiety and fear, making her wary of her own spiritual gifts. Why, one might ask, did Christina fear opening the door to her spiritual potential? The answer lies in the intense and often dark energies she encountered as a child. She describes these shadow entities as lower-level energies that feed off fear and thrive in environments of trauma and stress. Christina recounts how, even with the protective rituals performed by her grandmother, the fear and anxiety remained until she learned to harness her own power and light. “There is no energy stronger than me,” she would repeat, a mantra that became a cornerstone of her healing and empowerment.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/next-level-soul-podcast-with-alex-ferrari--4858435/support.

#43 The Allegory Story (Truth Revealed Through The Lens Of What Jesus Revealed About Father's Love)
Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Today's shout-out goes to Donald Daily from Stanwood, MI. Don, your partnership with us through Project23 is helping people see Jesus with new clarity and listen to him in the valleys. This one's for you. Our text today is Mark 9:1-8: And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power.” And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. And he was transfigured before them, and his clothes became radiant, intensely white, as no one on earth could bleach them. And there appeared to them Elijah with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus. And Peter said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good that we are here. Let us make three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.” For he did not know what to say, for they were terrified. And a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.” And suddenly, looking around, they no longer saw anyone with them but Jesus only. — Mark 9:1-8 It's a moment unlike any other in this Gospel. Jesus pulls back the veil—and his divine glory blazes through. What the disciples had only suspected is confirmed in a flash of radiant light. Jesus isn't just a miracle worker. Not just a teacher. He is the Son of God—radiant, majestic, holy. And then—Elijah and Moses appear. Not random guests. These are the heavyweights of Jewish faith. The Law and the Prophets. Standing beside Jesus. Talking with him. This isn't a vision. It's a moment of divine convergence. The past, the present, and the future collide—and Jesus stands at the center. The fulfillment of it all. Then the Father speaks: “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.” Jesus isn't just someone to admire. Or quote. Or keep around for inspiration. He's the One to obey. The One who defines truth. The One who has no equal. And yet… Peter wants to stay. To build tents. To freeze the moment. But glory isn't meant to be captured—it's meant to carry you. And soon, they're walking back down the mountain. Into the crowd. Into the chaos. Into the cross. Jesus gave them a glimpse of his glory to sustain them through the valley. He still does that today. Not every day is a mountaintop. Most days are messy. Full of struggle, grief, temptation, and doubt. But if you've seen his glory—through his Word, through worship, through answered prayer—cling to that. Because… Jesus gives us glimpses of his glory to remind us that he is faithful. Not just on the mountain—but in the mess. Not just in the light—but in the dark. Not just in triumph—but in trouble. So hold on to what he showed you on the mountain—because when you can't see him in the valley, you'll need to remember what you saw in the light. Let what you saw up there sustain you down here. #GloryOfJesus, #FaithInTheValley, #Mark9 ASK THIS: When have you experienced a “mountaintop” moment with God? What's one truth from that moment you need to remember today? Why do we often forget God's glory when we're in the valley? How can you hold onto what God has shown you? DO THIS: Reflect on a time when God revealed himself to you clearly. Write it down. Revisit it often. PRAY THIS: Jesus, remind me of your glory when I'm in the valley. Help me trust what I saw in the light when I walk through the dark. Amen. PLAY THIS: Highlands (Song Of Ascent).
This sermon was preached by Rev. Marc Choi on Sunday, May 25, 2024 at Redeemer LSQ. The Scripture reference is Mark 9:2-13.

Most books about the End Times focus on the events described in biblical prophecy--wars, natural disasters, economic turmoil, and more--rather than the One who is revealed in those events. The result? God's people end up fearful about what is to come rather than hopeful about Who is to come. But the Bible's prophecies of the last days can fill us with joy and peace as we anticipate the return and reign of our beloved savior, Jesus Christ. Our guest, bestselling author and pastor Dr. Robert Jeffress, takes a radically different approach to prophecy, helping you see the end times through the lens of Jesus Christ.
