“The more I got into it, the more I saw how the cycles of the moon are this beautiful, loving, unconditional container for us to be human.” –Kerri-Anne LivingstoneLet's do a moon deep dive, because getting into more natural rhythms is so freeing and fascinating. I'm really excited to talk with Kerri-Anne Livingstone, a clarity coach who taps into the cycles of the moon.We focus on four cycles of the moon: the new, the waxing, the full and the waning. Kerri-Anne explains the significance of each and how to make the best use of each phase. We can use each phase something different: anchoring, action, full expression, and assessing and learning. The moon has you even if your body doesn't cycle. So you can map your energy to the moon as a guide. And no matter where you are, you belong in whatever phase you're in within the moon's beautiful, cyclical, supportive container. We talk about: Slowing down and intention setting with the new moon Feminine stages: maiden, mother, crone, and the often overlooked hagFinding full expression and connecting during the full moonUsing the elements of earth, air, fire, and water to your benefit during different parts of the cycleThe difference between new moon and dark moon and how to approach eachWhen you are off cycle with the moonABOUT KERRI-ANNEKeri-Anne Livingstone is a certified Clarity Coach and emotional regulation specialist, guiding women through life's biggest challenges to have more peace, power, and presence through private coaching sessions, her online programs and Radical Acceptance Retreats held around the world. After competing in the 800 freestyle, 200 and 400 IM, Keri-anne Payne tried her hand at a 10km open water swim, and went on to become an Olympic silver medallist in the event. While she never 'fell in love' with the 10km race, she certainly loved the open water environment, which has since seen her create two start-up businesses that revolve around open water swimming. In this chat, Keri-anne talks about the highs and lows of elite-level competition and why she's learning to love cold water.
Keri-anne Payne is a 3x British Olympian. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, she won the silver medal in the 10k. She went on to win back-to-back World Championships in 2009 and 2010 in the same event. Defending her Olympic title at her home Olympics in 2012, Keri-anne made a rookie mistake and wound up touching 4th by just a few fractions of a second. While devastating, it is also the swim that she hears the most about from fans. "I started swimming open water because I watched you in that race." It's the race she is the most proud of. Keri-anne is the Founder of Triscape (personalized open water escapes and adventures) and Straight Line Swimming (online open water swim coaching qualification). 00:00 Bratter PA, Immigration Law 00:04 Hello Keri-anne Payne 01:00 Bill Sweetenham 05:15 100 Fly 06:24 Dave Crouch 07:38 Sean Kelly 08:20 Open water?? 12:55 Beine Genetic Sports Performance 14:00 Training strategies 16:15 How many 10K's 19:00 The Conflict 22:18 Swim Angelfish 23:00 Breathing in open water 24:34 Sighting 25:45 Crocodile eyes 27:45 Sharks 29:29 Feeding in open water 34:50 Swimnerd Live Results 35:26 Swimming in the Pack 40:10 Touching people's feet 41:55 Pool swimmers 47:50 Communication devices 48:10 World Championships 49:45 Internal pressure 54:58 Destro Machines 55:17 Vasa Trainer 56:45 Any Question Support Our Sponsors: BRATTER PA IMMIGRATION LAW: Exclusive immigration representation of athletes, entrepreneurs, artists, investors, and entertainers.
