New Episode Out Now Mike's Dead “NIGHTMARES” - Hard-hitting and darkly charismatic Los Angeles-based singer, rapper and producer, Mike's Dead, has dropped brand new music video for "Nightmares", the second single to be taken from his upcoming 'Revenge EP'. The video offers a macabre, twisted narrative of a relationship gone wrong that sees Mike suffer at the hands of an unhinged girlfriend. Watch the video here or by clicking the image below. Find the track on DSPs here. "Nightmares" follows previous, punk tinged “SICK”, which was released earlier this month and has clocked up 110,000 streams across platforms since release. These new songs mark a sonic shift that has seen Mike's Dead embrace the influence of the nu-metal and hard rock he grew up on (Nine Inch Nails, Limp Bizkit, Korn and Linkin Park) and provide Mike's rabid, 1 million+ fanbase with a great taste of what's to come with his upcoming ‘Revenge EP'. Providing some further insight on "Nightmares", Mike's Dead shares "With "Nightmares" I really wanted to show my versatility as an artist. This is the first song I've ever released with any sort of falsetto singing. I think fans are going to connect with this one a lot - especially the music video. I wanted to keep the same level of darkness that my videos have so we went with a plot based idea where I get fed raw meat by a psychotic girlfriend. Super sick. Definitely an out of the box idea." About Mike's Dead Combining elements of legendary nu-metal/ hard rock groups such as Rammstein, Nine Inch Nails, Limp Bizkit & Korn with modern trap and electronic elements, American singer & producer, Mike's Dead, has paved his own lane as a multifaceted artist. Launching his brand in June of 2018, he quickly amassed over 1 million followers across social platforms leading him to over 15 million independent streams on his music in his first two years. Growing up just outside of Washington D.C., he dropped out of college and at the age of 20, moved to Los Angeles to study audio engineering and music production. After years of relentless studio work, he crafted his unique sound; blending elements of hard rock with crushing bass lines and elaborate synth work. Vocally, he combines hard rap lyrics matched with raw emotion and ghostly melodies. With successful headlining tours under his belt and a "cult-like" fanbase at his side, we see an exciting future for Mike as he rolls out his new sound & inevitably his first album in 2021. Next this week is the return of DohnyJep and. the news that they are set to release their second ep in 2021. Shallow Is The Water', due for release May 28th 2021.via Favour The Brave Records. The first single due from the upcoming EP is Fade due on April 9 2021, now other than this I don't have too much for you in terms of singles are videos I can share just yet. What I can say is this I honestly love Shallow Is The Water. Personally, I was slightly disappointed with their first Ep Smile It May Never Happen which as released earlier this year, it just did not quite reach the same level as the tracks from Lust. However, I really like these guys and I think if you're a fan of bands like Don Broco, Enter Shikari then you will find a place for them. Today - in anticipation of their new album Unstable (out 30th April via Napalm Records) - they're dropping a third, 'Negative Noise'. Watch the video to 'Negative Noise' here: https://youtu.be/NFuPQ159LRU 'Negative Noise' is a sonic call to rise above the mediocre static that surrounds us. This vigorous banger showcases the heavier-metal side of Tetrarch, walloping the listener with gritty riffage, forceful growls and an unrelenting double bass assault that harks back to Slipknot's prime years. With moshpit ready breakdowns, eerie Jonathan Davis-esque vocal passages and a blistering solo, 'Negative Noise' proves itself as one of 'Unstable's most relentless, assertive anthems. Frontman and guitarist Josh Fore says: "'Negative Noise' is one of the heaviest songs on the new record. It mixes big riffs with thick bass, extreme drums and some of the most intense screams I've ever done. One of the highlights of the song is Diamond's guitar solo that she absolutely killed and I know will turn so many people's heads." Lyrically, the song is about constantly being surrounded by negativity and people trying to pull us in a million directions. More than ever, there is so much static around us, and we wanted to write a song about dealing with it and blocking out all of the noise." The album is available for pre-order in several exciting formats, here: https://napalmrecords.com/tetrarch Produced by the band and Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Allegaeon, Khemmis), Unstable follows the band's breakout debut Freak (2017). The new album shines not only as a natural step forward for TETRARCH, but a giant leap ahead – an even more focused effort combining bright flourishes, grooving low-end and soaring choruses. Unstable wastes no time igniting with the unforgettable, punching first single 'I'm Not Right'. Boosted by frontman Josh Fore's raw emotion and dynamic vocal style, the track pays homage to the genre's greats while lifted by the eerie leads of trailblazing lead guitarist Diamond Rowe. Radio-ready, lyrically-relevant tracks like anti-bullying anthem for the ages 'Sick Of You' and empowering 'You Never Listen' showcase TETRARCH's hefty progressions and unforgettable choruses. Unstable's heaviest offerings prove the band's dynamic assault of varying heavy styles, most notedly on assertive breakneck burner 'Negative Noise' – a track that will turn the heads of metal's greatest riffers with Rowe's mighty axe attack – and on the melodically chilling 'Take A Look Inside', highlighting the powerful rhythm section of bassist Ryan Lerner and drummer Ruben Limas. The album explores a brooding, introspective side of the band on the standout, melodic 'Addicted' and closer track 'Trust Me', which trickles in supernatural atmosphere. Delivering heavy hit after hit, Unstable is 10 tracks of pure potency and undeniable talent. Diamond Rowe says about the album: “The album has an overall theme of self-reflection and really looking at the relationships or parts of yourself/your life that you don't like and getting out of those situations. It's an angsty record. Musically, we were not timid in showing that we refuse to be boxed in as artists, and I think we really came out swinging with showing the world the type of band that we want to be. Freak did great for us and showed us that the music we were making was something that people wanted to hear, and that gave us the confidence to write and record this beast of an album.” TETRARCH Online www.tetrarchmusic.com www.facebook.com/tetrarchmusic www.twitter.com/tetrarch www.instagram.com/tetrarchmusic I really really love 'Negative Noise' what hits me straight away is that TETRARCH are perhaps the NU NU metal trail blazers in a genre that has seen the likes of Korn, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, Linkin Park to name a few and then the genre kind of of fell away over the lst few years TETRARCH are not afraid to hone in on the these incredible bands and pull ideas together, 'Negative Noise' perfectly demonstrates this and is overall a great track with power, guitars and vocals with a punch and a killer guitar solo with a really cool tone. TETRARCH are a band to keep your eyes on and your finger tips on the keys of your keyboard so that you don't miss a thing, I really hope they can show case their talents in Europe. Rachel Zoe launched her brand in 2011, as direct-to-consumer businesses were booming online. But even though she already had a following from her time spent working as a celebrity stylist and sending out her then-newsletter, The Zoe Report (now a media company), Zoe targeted traditional retailers first. Zoe didn't launch her own e-commerce site for the brand until 2016, in fact, but since finally coming around to selling direct online, she and her brand have been much more experimental. She's also become more entrepreneurial: In addition to her fashion line, she's in charge of The Zoe Report as well as Box of Style, a subscription box of clothing and other lifestyle products chosen by her and her team. Zoe joined the Glossy Podcast to discuss the perks and downfalls of traditional retail, her take on see-now-buy-now, her plans to open Rachel Zoe stores and how she uses customer data to her advantage.
