その後、「The Golden Age」(1996)では「I Hate My Generation」を筆頭に、より内省的なモードに入る。 Cracker – Cracker(1992)デビュー作。 挨拶代わりの1曲目「Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now)」は、いきなりガツンとくる名曲。 「Take Me Down to the Infirmary」は前作に入っていてもおかしくないカントリー調の哀愁ソングで、酒が抜けないまま朝を迎えたような空気。

This week's Dark Nation Radio is built around independent bands and musical artists active in the Dark Nation Radio facebook group—and the amount of talent and dedication to craft is simply overwhelming! If you have any interest in what the underground dark music scene sounds like today, this is the show for you. My only regret is that time constraints limited the number of artists I could include. As always, I urge you to support the bands and musical artists by visiting their bandcamp pages, as well as to follow me and consider reposting the show. And if you'd like to join the DNR family, the address is http://www.facebook.com/groups/darknationradio. Alabama shows us how country music approaches Conway Twitty's favorite subject, while continuing to meld the 70s & 80s influences that formed their unique wheelhouse, on their 1982 hit "Take Me Down". But how does this song's harmonic complexity particularly fit the particular subject matter?
Jay took in a recent St. Louis City SC game and it was an experience. He and Matt go over the good, the bad, and the tornado warning of CityPark. This episode's song was "Take Me Down" by Judd Harris. You can find him at: Website | TikTok | Facebook | Instagram | Spotify | Bandcamp | Soundcloud | Youtube The intro music was The Mad Dog Remix of The Other Side by the Red Hot Chili Peppers; it was created by Madelyn Tierney. *excerpt from production notes, TCD chapter 1371: Preamble - use a bit of the Zoom audio from Tuesday, the audio quality isn't great but it sets the scene and if it turns out the episode is late for the purples it will add credibility to the excuse.2: Intro - try and 'Christmas' it up a bit, after all it's half way through December3: Main Section - we might be struggling for time a bit this week, so maybe see if we can riff on the patreon feedback for a bit. Speedway is always great filler if we are struggling for inspiration, the purples love a bit of speedway. If all else fails chuck in an erection joke.4: Diary - what with Gordon, Nicolas and Angela it all gets a bit Ben Elton this week...'little bit of politics, little bit of politics'. 5: Wrap - push the livestream a bit, and remember it's Saturday. Oh and see if we can do a bit of product placement for Paddington, somewhere close to the venue would work well. Might want to tee up the Christmas episode...6: Crooncast - recommend watching "Harold and Maude" this Christmas7: (don't forget to pop those links in the show notes)8: Finish with a limerick There once was an addled old brewer, Whose brain cells were fewer and fewer, 'quit drinking the day, He woke up in the hay, In a puddle of pee and manure. It's patio season. Dunkels and tripels are overflowing. But you know what we're most excited about? One of our favorite neighborhood breweries is back.Mike sits down with Ben Evans and LT Goodman from Hellbender Brewing Company after the brewery's period of intense trials. Back in March, Hellbender lost their ABC license and was unable to operate. But they are back! Ben and LT tell us about the reopening process, the triumphs they've seen, and the challenges they still face. Ben also shares about new beers coming out this season and how business owners can take care of mental health when not tending to their breweries. We revel in why we need our local neighborhood breweries and discuss how people can currently support Hellbender. In other news, the gang announces a beer release from Three Stars, tries an amazing collaboration from Streetcar 82 and 7 Locks, and gives details for Land Beer Fest, and LGBTQ+ events coming up like Proud to Say Gay, and Queer Beer Fest. Keep up to date with everything happening at DCBeer.com, @DCBeer on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Back in the hot seat and with a RIOTOUS amount of NYCFC soccer to cover, Trey and Jake begin with a disappointing, if not altogether shocking, 4-2 aggregate fall to a surgical Seattle and their iron curtain keeper. But Seattle can't take our CONCACAF memories, no matter how they try, and we've got a bevy of them - experiments left right and center, visions of the future in Santiagos, Magnos, and Cachas, and more than a few true scorchers.THEN: you ate your vegetables, it's time for dessert. Jake and Trey recap the domestic (league) violence of a 6-0 victory over visitors Seattle, breaking records and hearts in a victory that eclipsed even our 5-0 previous outing. Utah hasn't seen tragedy like this in New York since The Book Of Mormon won the Tony.AND FINALLY: an over-under game on Cameo, some league and legacy chat, and a quick preview of Bob Bradley's Big Maddies. Careful when adjusting your antenna - you've got Blue Balls.
