The ten-track LP will land on March 17th on Anjunadeep.Written and produced over a nearly two-year period beginning in early 2021, ‘Ride Away' contains themes of love, companionship, and personal exploration. Hauling in a crate's worth of musical influences, Moon Boots has imbued ‘Ride Away' with his characteristic blend of soul, disco, and house music, whilst also introducing the sounds of synthpop, breakbeats, and psychedelica. « Longtemps j’ai eu l’impression d’être un package. J’étais un guitare-voix, je n’étais pas une voix. ». Marion s'est choisi Praa comme nom d'artiste. Praa pour Prague, la capitale européenne, en hommage au nom de la rue où elle a grandi. J’ai toujours été convaincue que les endroits villes, pays, région où l’on grandit s’infusent en nous et influencent notre être et notre création. Marion a grandi avec la musique que ses parents lui ont fait écouter, elle a grandi avec une guitare entre les mains et sa voix qu’elle a apprivoisée des années durant. Elle explique très simplement comment la confiance et l’assurance gagnées avec le temps, l’expérience et sa rencontre amoureuse, ont ensemble contribué à son évolution musicale : du guitare voix folk à de la pop. Je lui ai demandé quelque chose de pas évident, faire une rétrospective sur son parcours artistique, prendre une forme de recul que les années n’ont pas encore permis. A cette occasion elle me parle du poids de la timidité et du regard des autres, de la difficulté d’assumer de vouloir vivre de la musique et de tout miser sur soi. On parle de l’importance de se contraindre au travail et plus précisément de la façon dont elle travaille, épaulée par son producteur et compagnon Timsters.
