From Whittier, CA, 21-year-old Jake Isaac is a professional Supercross and motocross race mechanic for the factory TLD/Red Bull/GasGas Racing team, spinning wrenches for Pierce Brown. Prior to landing his current job with TLD/Red Bull/GasGas, Isaac was working with Derek Drake on the small, satellite team, Bar-X Suzuki. In today's episode with Jake, we dive into his early years growing up in Whittier, CA, his flat track racing career winning junior national championships, how he discovered his love for working on motorcycles, a school project he did about the factory Kawasaki team, a hilarious story about an interview he had with Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Mitch Payton, how he finally got his opportunity as a race mechanic for Derek Drake, transitioning over to the TLD/Red Bull/GasGas team, and so much more. This was such a fun and insightful conversation with a very charismatic and outgoing human. Originally from Budds Creek, MD, Kenny Day now resides in Southern California, working at Fox Racing as the Pro Athlete Manager. Kenny works alongside athletes such as Christian Craig, Adam Cianciarulo, Ken Roczen, Max Vohland, and the entire Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team. However, prior to his position at Fox Racing, K-Day was working at Aplinestars and also Traders Racing before A-Stars. It was impressive to see just see how big it is and is impressive for a factory Supercross rider or a privateer rider to go there and train. You could see how it has been beneficial to the ClubMX Yamaha team to make the riders successful. In this interview Garrett Marchbanks talks about the transition from Pro Circuit Kawasaki to ClubMX, his history at training there and more.

Honda’s Ken Roczen grabbed his first win in more than two years with a very strong 1-2 day at Hangtown. We’ll have Kenny on the show for the first time in a while to talk about his day, his prep coming into this race, how he’s feeling and more. Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo took home his second career 250MX win with 2-1 scores and he’s a friend of the show so you know we’ll have AC on to tell us about that. Adam will also touch on his Vegas finale, that great second moto, the mud and more. GEICO Honda’s Christian Craig had himself a good day back racing after a difficult supercross season. Craig even told us he had fun in the mud in the second moto! We’ll have Christian on to tell us about his day and whether or not he’s gotten a Tazer. Hunter Lawrence finally made his American debut and although he had a crash that, uhhh, opened things up for him, all in all it was a good start to the season considering it was his first race in a while with riders on this level. Chad Pederson rode minibikes in the mid-1980s, graduating to the 125 class in 1988. Pederson would score 67 top 10 finishes during his professional motocross and supercross career with eight podiums and a win in the 125 SX East class in 1993 at the Tampa Supercross. During his career, he rode for a wide variety of satellite racing teams including: Noleen Yamaha, DGY, Pro Circuit Kawasaki, Atomic 22, Primal Impulse Suzuki, Neilson Kawasaki, and Moto XXX. Following his motocross and supercross career, Pederson would go on to have success racing Arenacross and Canadian Nationals.
