This Week on America's Podcast, we welcome Ralph Viera, a.k.a. Dr. Fukk, and Eric RMCP Jordan to discuss the debut W.A.S.P. album — does it make you wanna be somebody, or does it bring you on your knees? As always, no spoilers... but maybe some raw meat? Tracks of the Week: Mooger picks “Damage Case” by Motörhead (because who doesn't want to feel a little damaged?), Marc picks “Screaming for Vengeance” by Judas Priest (screaming is always in style), Jerry chooses “Astronomy Domine” by Voivod (because space is the final frontier, right?), Dr. Fukk goes for “Till It Shines” by Bob Seger (shiny things are hard to resist), and we wrap it all up with Eric's pick, “Ride of the IronFox” by Bewitcher (because who doesn't love a good pun?). Until next week, don't be a douche! #waspband #wasp #metal #rawmeat
We're back for an epic episode this week as Ralph Viera of Rock & Metal Combat Podcast joins us to discuss The Best and Worst of 70's Black Sabbath! With their debut release in 1970, Black Sabbath's self-titled debut would set the music world on it's ear and help birth multiple bands and genres. In the same year, they'd release the iconic 'Paranoid' album to much acclaim. Those landmark albums would be followed up by other highly recognized albums such as 'Master of Reality,' 'Volume 4,' 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath,' and 'Sabotage.' Things take unexpected turns with the releases 'Technical Ecstasy,' and 'Never Say Die;' mostly fueled by band drama and addiction issues. In this episode, we each give our thoughts on Black Sabbath, these albums, and pick our favorite and least favorite track of each. Ralph also provides some informative and entertaining stories of Sabbath history throughout. It's a fun, no-holds-barred discussion of some of the most impactful albums in music history. Eric & Eddy are back and joined by one half of the podcast kings Dr. Fukk Ralph Viera to discuss Scorpions 1980 release Animal Magnetism. Was this album great or too much of a clone of Lovedrive? How much of an impact did Matthias Jabs have on the Scorpions? Was this Klaus Meine's peak vocal performance? We answer those questions along with discussing the bizarre album artwork, heavy metal in 1980, talk boxes, and Eric's hatred of New York and New York Pizza.
We talk about back to the egg and we talk a lot about M Balding Faylor. Listen if you dare. We go on A LOT!!!!!!

Here you go… Returning guest and Podcast King Ralph Viera joins us to discuss Rainbow's Long Live Rock ‘n' Roll. In addition to an in depth review, we discuss Ritchie Blackmore and Ronnie James Dio's split, the Rainbow Bar & Grill, what would've happened to Rainbow if Dio had stayed in the band, why weren't they a bigger band in the States and what era is the band's best? We also debate the merits of “The Wanton Song” and “Silent Lucidity” (per usual) and digress about awesome movies like The Warriors, Terminator and Conan the Barbarian. If you love rock ‘n' roll and awesome things in general, this episode is for you…!!

This week the guys recount a roller-coaster of a weekend in the sunshine state as Chris & Aaron Do Florida! One of the more memorable guests from Decibel Geek history was Dick Wagner. The original career-spanning interview with Dick as well as his appearance for an Albums Unleashed episode on Alice Cooper's Dada album were listener favorites and it led to a friendship between the guys which was cut short due to Dick Wagner's untimely passing a few years ago. Dick's partner Susan Michelson also became a friend through that experience. Susan would go on to found the Dick Wagner Remember the Child Fund; a music therapy program that provides musical instruction and instruments to sick and disabled children. That's what led to last week's events in Florida. The Dick Wagner Remember the Child Fund recently added Woodstock co-founder and music industry legend Artie Kornfeld to it's board. Artie will be working with the charity in many ways in the near future. Chris & Aaron were selected by the charity to be the interviewers for an upcoming film project featuring Artie. The guys met up with Artie at Dogmanic Studios in Pompano Beach, FL for several hours of discussion of his amazing career with a hyper-focus on Woodstock and it's societal impact. The interview was a definite highlight of Chris & Aaron's trip to Florida but not the only thing that happened. In this episode, the guys give a day-by-day account of the trip. There are many ups and downs throughout this loose discussion. From too much alcohol on too little sleep to rental car adventures to meeting some special friends while in town to flight issues to having one of those friends come in and save the day; there's a lot to discuss. We hope you enjoy Chris & Aaron Do Florida and SHARE with a friend!Decibel Geek is a proud member of the Pantheon Podcasts family.Chris & Aaron would like to give special thanks to Susan Michelson, Deborah Peak, Artie Kornfeld, Ralph Viera, Charlie & Daniella Hill, videographer Albert Aronov, and Christian and the team at Dogmanic Studios for the hospitality.Contact Us!Rate, Review, and Subscribe in iTunesJoin the Facebook Fan PageFollow on TwitterFollow on InstagramE-mail UsSubscribe to our Youtube channel!Support Us!Buy a T-Shirt!Donate to the show!Stream Us!Stitcher RadioSpreakerTuneInBecome a VIP Subscriber!Click HERE for more info!Comment BelowDirect Download

This week, Bushy was in Nashville, TN, for the 3rd Annual Rock and Pod Expo. He was fortunate enough to be able to sit down and chat with some great people. First, you'll hear an amazing interview with Michael Sweet, front man of Stryper, with assistance from Mr. Ralph Viera from Rock and Metal Combat Podcast. Next, Bushy has a great, candid talk with Mr. Kenny Olson, that went so well, he told Bushy he wants to do our show AFTER the expo, when time could be arranged. And then, Bushy was able to chat with a young band out of Memphis, TN, Land/Divided. They did a great job, and you'll hear one of their songs right after the interview. An amazing weekend all around, and we hope that some of that was captured in these talks. Special thanks to Michael Sweet, Kenny Olson and Land/Divided for sitting down with me.
