Two rockers with Detroit roots join me today on Talkin' Rock.  First, it's Danny Koker from Count's Kustoms. Of course you know Danny from the custom car TV show, but he's a rocker at heart. We talk about hot rods, his start in reality TV, his rock club and lots more. He'll be making an appearance at AutoRama on March 6th.  Up next, it's metal singer Sean Peck. The new Death Dealer EP is out. He talks about that and all the DD material they've written for future release and more. He talks about the start of the band, playing with Ross The Boss, a couple questions from "Ripper" Owens including a story about how Sean's snake caused havoc on a Judas Priest tour....that's just for starters.  Enjoy, Meltdown http://www.countskustoms.com/ https://www.deathdealermetal.com/ https://wrif.com/podcasts/talkin-rock-with-meltdown/

Good evening, everybody. Its Thursday and time for another edition of Metal Mayhem ROC! Tonight-- show host Jon “The Vernomatic' Verno has two fun informative interviews to share. THE THREE TREMORS, the project featuring acclaimed heavy metal singers Tim "Ripper" Owens (JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN), Harry "The Tyrant" Conklin (JAG PANZER) and Sean "The Hell Destroyer" Peck (CAGE, DEATH DEALER, DENNER/SHERMANN), will release its second album, "Guardians of The Void", on November 5 via Steel Cartel Records. TREMORS shot out of a cannon at a frantic pace. They were pursuing an aggressive pace of live performances when the shutdown forced them to cut short their North American tour in the middle of their run in early 2020. They wasted no time, however, and got to work on another new album. Now their sophomore effort "Guardians of The Void" is ready for blast-off. Vernomatic's second interview is a cool chat with listener Charlie Avino. On April 28th, 1981 Marty Duda was a young disc Jockey responsible for booking Ozzy Osbourne & The Blizzard of Ozz  TV show "After Hours" at 31 Studios here in Rochester, New York.  Charlie and Marty were friends and classmates at S.U.N.Y Brockport at the time, and  was in attendance for the taping of that performance. Charlie heard our original interview with Marty from April of 2021 and reached out to me to share his memories of the event. Stories like what it was like to meet with Ozzy, Randy and the rest of the band, talking drumming with Tommy Aldridge, and to just see and feel the power of an ascending true heavy metal super star in Randy Rhodes. This is some of the only pro shot video footage in existence of the late Randy Rhoads and Charlie was there to experience it all and share his memories with us. We invite you to rate and review this and all past episodes at www.podchaser.com Simply enter Metal Mayhem ROC in the search box, scroll down, press the MMROC logo and rate the episode and leave a review As always, we encourage you to listen, like and share this and all past episode to your metal and NON metal friends. #581 MTRS - Paul Stanely, Sean Peck Ok, so this is just an insane show for you this week. A drunk Paul calls in and talks about everything! From getting his anus inspected in New Jersey at a grocery store because of a possible stealing. We talked about the TV show Three Company, Jenny in Forest Gump in how she was a whore and should have died, and was a prick tease. This was a really interesting show. Little Richard was brought up and was not talked about (out of respect). Sean Peck called in right after and cleaned up the show. We talked about the many projects he is currently involved in and are real excited about them. Hope everyone can jump onboard with them and snatch them up when they are all released. Music played: Team America, Kiss, Cage We of course played the RAMN (Rock and Metal News) segment as we always do every week. Cage has definitely hit their stride. The band's knack for crafting catchy yet crushing Metal continues to impress more with each album. Science Of Annihilation truly established the band's songwriting prowess, and now Supremacy Of Steel solidifies that even further. SOS offers up the heavy yet melodic gems Flying Fortress and King Of The Wasteland for your repeated pummeling enjoyment. And when you need to be piledriven into oblivion, Bloodsteel and Doctor Doom oblige. And speaking of Doctor Doom, what's a Cage interview with Sean Peck without a Marvel Comics discussion? No interview at all I say. So Sean and I delve into which Marvel character we want by our side in battle, which is the hottest (of course), the storylines, games, tv, movies, and Cage's own Marvel Metal. You get updates on the latest Cage info (new album and ideas), and find out just how accessible Sean is to the fans. On a light-hearted note, Sean describes the Cage look. Two planets colliding. That is the sound of Cage, so says vocalist Sean Peck. I'm inclined to agree, and even moreso with their latest album Science Of Annihilation. You'd think the highlight of this discussion would be about Metal. While any discussion of Metal is horns-up, the real fun was Sean & I talking about comics. He's got me beat on the number of comics collected since the '80s, but I'm hoping he'll send me a few thousand of his. On what other radio stations could you hear two Metal guys talking about Marvel Comics? None. Comics & Metal...the two are very much alike, and not just because of the rabid fans.
