Dr. Sunardi disebut berusaha melarikan diri saat hendak diringkus oleh Densus 88, pasal yang disangkakan adalah ia terlibat terorisme. Kronologi Penembakan Dokter Sunardi Kepala Biro Penerangan Masyarakat (Karopenmas) Polri, Brigjen Ahmad Ramadhan, membeberkan keterlibatan dokter Sunardi dalam jaringan terorisme di Indonesia. Dia mengungkap, dokter Sunardi adalah bagian anggota Jamaah Islamiyah (JI). Polisi mengatakan yang bersangkutan pernah menjabat sebagai Amir Khidmat JI, Deputi Dakwah dan Informasi, dan penasihat Amir JI. Sementara di Hilal Ahmar Society Indonesia (HASI), dokter Sunardi menjabat sebagai penanggung jawab. Upaya penangkapan dokter Sunardi terjadi di Jalan Bekonang, Sukoharjo, Jateng, pada Rabu (9/3) malam. Polisi melakukan tindakan terukur berupa penembakan terhadap dokter Sunardi lantaran melawan ketika akan ditangkap. Kala itu juga ia menabrakkan mobilnya ke mobil petugas dan warga. Dia menjelaskan pihak Densus 88 telah memperkenalkan diri terlebih dulu kepada Sunardi sebelum hendak melakukan penangkapan. Lalu petugas mencoba menghentikan kendaraan Sunardi, namun Sunardi melawan. Maka polisi terpaksa menembak mati dokter Sunardi lantaran membahayakan jiwa petugas dan warga masyarakat. Sementara itu berdasarkan data Dinas Kesehatan Jateng, kasus Covid-19 di Jateng, hingga 30 Januari ada 626.157 kasus. Kenaikan terjadi di kota Semarang 35 kasus, Jepara 19 kasus, Sukoharjo 17 kasus, Surakarta 14 kasus, dan Kabupaten Tegal 12 kasus. While each definitely has its own hometown charm, Yorktown, Texas, offers a bit extra. From violent nun apparitions to a spirit-summoning copy of “The Poky Little Puppy,” one can never know what to expect when they enter one of the most haunted hospitals in the U.S.! Yorktown, a cute Texas small town, is home to back roads and old-timey buildings. Main St. is a nice drive to hit up the older buildings of the area. The C. Eckhardt & Sons Building is almost 150 years old, standing to this day as the Yorktown Historical Museum. East Main St., past the Yorktown City Hall intersection, is a strip of buildings time seems to have forgotten. Just down the road going west, however, the town soon reveals one of its darker characters from times gone by. Past the Yorktown Creek and a few fast food joints lies a foreboding structure. The Yorktown Memorial Hospital stands with its arched entrance untouched by brush, which has had its way with the rest of the property. Built in 1950 by nuns, it definitely looks its age. The Yorktown Memorial Hospital was opened the year following its construction, its name paying homage to those from Yorktown who fought and lost their lives during WWII. The Felician Sisters of the Roman Catholic Church kept the hospital open until 1986, when another hospital opened up just a few miles away in Cuero, Texas, thus putting Memorial Hospital out of business. During its time under the care of the nuns, the hospital was said to have lost over 500 patients in a six-year span. A staggering number of fatalities for such a small building in such a small amount of time, it's no wonder it is said to be plagued by wandering and restless spirits today. Dr. Leon Norwierski Dr. Norwierski was one of the main medical professionals at the facility. He was an older gentleman and practiced medicine into his 90s. While each definitely has its own hometown charm, Yorktown, Texas, offers a bit extra. From violent nun apparitions to a spirit-summoning copy of “The Poky Little Puppy,” one can never know what to expect when they enter one of the most haunted hospitals in the U.S.! Yorktown, a cute Texas small town, is home to back roads and old-timey buildings. Main St. is a nice drive to hit up the older buildings of the area. The C. Eckhardt & Sons Building is almost 150 years old, standing to this day as the Yorktown Historical Museum. East Main St., past the Yorktown City Hall intersection, is a strip of buildings time seems to have forgotten. Just down the road going west, however, the town soon reveals one of its darker characters from times gone by. Past the Yorktown Creek and a few fast food joints lies a foreboding structure. The Yorktown Memorial Hospital stands with its arched entrance untouched by brush, which has had its way with the rest of the property. Built in 1950 by nuns, it definitely looks its age. The Yorktown Memorial Hospital was opened the year following its construction, its name paying homage to those from Yorktown who fought and lost their lives during WWII. The Felician Sisters of the Roman Catholic Church kept the hospital open until 1986, when another hospital opened up just a few miles away in Cuero, Texas, thus putting Memorial Hospital out of business. During its time under the care of the nuns, the hospital was said to have lost over 500 patients in a six-year span. A staggering number of fatalities for such a small building in such a small amount of time, it's no wonder it is said to be plagued by wandering and restless spirits today. Dr. Leon Norwierski Dr. Norwierski was one of the main medical professionals at the facility. He was an older gentleman and practiced medicine into his 90s. The doctor became known for his fatal mistakes during operations. One such mistake entailed him accidentally slitting the throat of a patient while operating on his thyroid. Volunteers in Kepuh village in Sukoharjo told Reuters they have been holding "surprise patrols" every few days since early April -- although the plan initially backfired when they became a social media sensation and there was an increase in people venturing out of their homes to see the ghosts. "First of all, we want to be different. Secondly, to create a deterrent effect because 'pocong' is spooky and scary," said the head of the youth volunteer group, Anjar Pancaningtyas, adding that the initiative was in cooperation with local police. "Since we set up the pocong roadblock, the environment of the village has become more conducive [to the idea of staying inside]," he added. "Local residents still lack of awareness on how to curb the spread of Covid-19 disease," Kepuh village head Priyadi, who goes by one name like many Indonesians, told Reuters. "They want to live like normal so it is very difficult for them to follow the stay home instruction."
