This is Dr. MaryAnn Diorio, novelist and life coach, welcoming you to another episode of Winning with the Word. Today is Monday, July 10, 2023, and this is Episode #27 of Series 2023. This episode is titled "Signs & Seasons of Christ's Return". There is a very interesting Scripture passage in Mark 13: 28-29 that says this: “Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that His [Jesus Christ's] return is very near, right at the door." (Brackets mine.) Prophecy expert and teacher T.W. Tramm has pointed out that summer as used in this Scripture is a metaphor for the end times. Keeping this in mind, Tram discusses five signs of summer that indicate that our Lord Jesus is coming soon to take us home in the Rapture. Let's take a look at these five signs. 1. The 8th Anniversary of the Appearance of the Star of Bethlehem in 2015. July 1st of this year marked eight years since the Jupiter-Venus conjunction, referred to as the Star of Bethlehem, reappeared in 2015. While this recurrent conjunction is not necessarily rare, as Tramm points out, the one that occurred in 2015 was unique in that it occurred on the Jewish fall feasts of harvest. Also, like the original Star of Bethlehem that appeared around 2 B.C., this 2015 Bethlehem Star was a rare triple conjunction that occurred in the constellation Leo, or the Lion. It is this constellation that represents Jesus as the Lion of Judah, as we read in Revelation 5: 5, where John writes: "But one of the twenty-four elders said to me, 'Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David's throne, has won the victory. He is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals.'” Also, the appearance of the Bethlehem Star in 2015 occurred in a sabbatical year, just as did the original Bethlehem Star. The sabbatical year is the seventh of seven years during which the Israelites are not to plant crops but to let the ground rest for a year. This command is found in Leviticus 25: 3-5: "For six years sow your fields, and for six years prune your vineyards and gather their crops. But in the seventh year the land is to have a year of sabbath rest, a sabbath to the Lord. Do not sow your fields or prune your vineyards. Do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the grapes of your untended vines. The land is to have a year of rest.” So every seventh year, there was to be no planting or pruning of crops. The land was to rest. It is possible, as Tramm points out, that the Bethlehem Star and eclipses of 2015 were a seven-year warning about the Sabbatical week that will begin in September of this year on Rosh Hashanah, September 15-17. 2. The Full Moon. On July 3rd of this year, the first full moon of summer appeared. This moon was a super moon and indicates the type of moon that will usher in the return of the "goodman" of the house—namely, Jesus Christ—as described in Proverbs 7: 20: "...at the full moon he [the goodman or husband] will come home." The full moon represents the Bride of Christ,

S S Today I want to read 2 articles I received this past week. In different ways, they hopefully give you reasons to pause and think even more about the fact that we are not living in a normal, business as usual world. This is certainly intended to make you worry but rather to shock you a bit into a greater sense of urgency of where you are in your walk with God and with living out His plan for your life, both inside your job and outside your job. Surprisingly, these articles have nothing to do with the jab, masks, Biden, Putin, Klaus Schwab, high gas prices, or empty shelves. I figured you already knew about those things. The first article is from ProphecyNewsWatch.com and was originally written by T.W. Tramm from The Season of Return Ministries. If you're not normally particularly interested in prophecy and have a general bias against what you consider "date setters", you may be tempted to tune out during this article. I would ask you not to do so, both for the content of this article as well as for the rest of what we're talking about during this episode. You may justify wanting to tune out because of a verse where Jesus said we won't know the day or the hour. I say that because I used to use that verse to dismiss those who would talk about prophecy and condemn them as date setters. Let's read the context of that passage, Matthew 25:1-13 "“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. 6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom [a]is coming; go out to meet him!' 7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.' 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. 11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!' 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.' 13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour [b]in which the Son of Man is coming." So Jesus warned us NOT to be like the 5 foolish virgins who did not bring extra oil and were told by the bridegroom that he didn't know them. Oil typically represents the Holy Spirit. We need to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to place our relationship with our Heavenly Father above everything else in this world. Notice what Jesus said right after that parable, "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour [b]in which the Son of Man is coming". What that tells me is that I need to be ready by being in relationship with Him AND I need to be watching. Notice he didn't say we should be in relationship and NOT watch. He told us to watch. God gave us appointments to meet with Him, once a week, once a month, and throughout the year on His 7 Feasts, for us to be in relationship with Him and as dress rehearsals for His coming. The Spring Feasts of Unleavened Bread, Passover, First Fruits, and Pentecost all pointed to His first coming. The Fall Feasts of Yom Teruah, Yom Kippur and Feast of Tabernacles all point to His second coming. With that as some background here's the article from T.W. Tramm: https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=5200 The next article is about the rise in persecution of Christians around the world. It's called " The Ignored Pandemic: 360 Million Christians Persecuted Worldwide " written by Raymond Ibrahim and it was published on Feb. 13th at gatewoodinstitute.org https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/18226/christians-persecuted-worldwide Of course, here in the U.S. we've seen an increase in censorship and unfair treatment of Christians, but we are not persecuted...not yet. You won't hear about what's going on around the world to Christians in the mainstream media, probably no matter how bad it gets, so I think it's good for us to be aware of this so we can pray for other believers and as a sign to us of where we are on the Biblical calendar. E L Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. Solar works in the Arctic - so what excuse do city folks have? That's the question posed by Old Crow, Yukon's new solar installation project, which, when complete, will allow the community to stop burning nearly 200,000 litres of diesel fuel annually. The initiative is being shepherded by Chief Dana Tizya-Tramm, the elected chief of Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation, based in Old Crow, a fly-in community of around 300 in Canada. We talked to Chief Tizya-Tramm about making climate decisions that honor generations past, present, and future; and the solutions that our nations have access to right now ... if we're only courageous enough to choose them.
