When Yeshua had finished directing his twelve disciples, he departed from there to teach and proclaim in their cities. Now when Yochanan heard in the prison the works of Messiah, he sent two of his disciples and said to him, “Are you he who comes, or should we look for another?” Yeshua answered them, “Go and tell Yochanan the things which you hear and see: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them. Blessed is he who finds no occasion for stumbling in me.” As these went their way, Yeshua began to say to the multitudes concerning Yochanan, “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? But why did you go out? To see a prophet? Yes, I tell you, and much more than a prophet. For this is he, of whom it is written, ‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.' Most certainly I tell you, among those who are born of women there has not arisen anyone greater than Yochanan the Immerser; yet he who is least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he. From the days of Yochanan the Immerser until now, the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the Prophets and the Torah prophesied until Yochanan. If you are willing to receive it, this is Elijah, who is to come. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. “But to what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the marketplaces, who call to their companions and say, ‘We played the flute for you, and you didn't dance. We mourned for you, and you didn't lament.' For Yochanan came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.' The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Behold, a gluttonous man and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!' But wisdom is justified by her children.” Matthew 11:1‭-‬7‭, ‬9‭-‬19 WMB --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/batyah2Real/support

What is Biblical Salvation? PART 1

What is biblical salvation? Well, I suppose the answer depends on who you might ask.  More often than not, the doctrine of salvation concerns a concept of eternal and spiritual deliverance from what is referred to in English as "sin." However, there is a lot more going on and I think we would do well to expand on the details more carefully, particularly as salvation and sin was defined in the Messianic Jewish mind of the Second Temple period of historical Israel. When Paul told the Philippian jailer what he must do to be saved, he was referring to the jailer’s eternal destiny (Acts 16:30-31). When Yeshua spoke of salvation, he pointed us into learning and understanding the biblical concept of the Kingdom of God (Matthew 19:24-25). What are we saved from and what are we saved to? Biblical salvation appears to be linked to an escape from divine "wrath" due to a passed-down curse of sin and death, which naturally and spiritually affects all of us because the consequence of sin is eternal death, according to Romans 6:23. Therefore, salvation means to be righteous or just with eternal life and no sin. On this 50-minute podcast of Real Israel Talk Radio Part 1, Episode 21-054, I will seek to expand on a biblical meaning and definition that is supported from the biblical lessons about salvation, sin and death, the tree of the knowledge of good but (and) evil and really, so much more! The experience of salvation is beautiful. However, learning to understand the detail that drives the experience is, likewise, also just as beautiful.

Third, there is a legend in the Talmud that helps us put these pieces together and see Yeshua's mission as the Messiah being fulfilled. In fact, Yeshua wasn't starting a new thing at all. He took an old, well-known event and its commemoration - the Exodus and the Passover Seder - and giving it its full meaning. Passover is a grand picture that reveals God's plan to bring His children back to Himself. When we understand some of the themes of Passover, we'll appreciate what Yeshua did for us in a whole new way. Communion will never be the same!

In this teaching you will be learning about the characteristics of the fig tree and the process that it goes through in its growing season. The Torah and the nation of Israel is likened to the fig tree. When asked about the timing of His second coming, Yeshua told his followers to “learn a parable of the fig tree”.The nation of Israel and the Torah is likened to a fig tree. The land of Israel is a land of figs. It takes 3 to 5 years for a fig tree to produce figs. When fully grown, its large leaves provide much shade in the summer. Being “under your fig tree” is a Hebrew idiom for seeking truth and walking in the fruit of the Torah. When Yeshua cursed the fig tree, it represented the Jewish nation not producing the fruit of the Torah and failing to recognize Yeshua as the Messiah. There are good figs (first ripe and summer figs) and bad figs (green figs that fall to the ground). As a result, the fig tree is associated with the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. There are four Hebrew words which are associated with the various stages of growth of the figs. The ministry of Elijah precedes the coming of the Messiah. Zacharias was told that his son, John, would be of the spirit and power of Elijah. The ministry of Elijah is a ministry to turn the hearts of the people of the God of Israel to the Torah and to prepare Israel for the end of the exile and the coming of the Messiah. John the Baptist was born at Passover. According to tradition, the Jews expect Elijah to be revealed at Passover season. In the Temple service there was a fourth drawing of lot for various duties. After the morning Temple service was concluded, next came the minchah and drink offerings. Trumpets were blown and Levites sang with the drink offerings. Public offerings were brought between the two lamb offerings. The evening lamb sacrifice was at 3pm. The sacrifice took one hour and during this time. prayers were said in the temple. When Yeshua died at 3pm (when the second tamid lamb was slaughtered in the Temple) Psalm 118 was being recited: The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. The half shekel was also given for the atonement of the soul: The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls. Exodus 30:15 The daily tamid lamb offering was a communal sacrifice. The sacrifice was done on behalf of the nation of Israel. It was financed out of the half shekel offerings that were collected from the people once/year. The daily tamid lamb offering is linked to the entire nation of Israel. In this teaching segment we will look at a commonly misunderstood verse: Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. Colossians 2:14 Mainstream Christianity interprets that the “handwriting of ordinances” is the Torah. Is this what Paul was saying? When we look at the previous verse we get more context: And you being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses. Colossians 2:13 It is our SINS that have been forgiven. Sin is our enmity with God. Sin is what separates us from Him. And, it is our SINS that have been nailed to the cross, not the Torah. We learn in this teaching segment that Yeshua abolished man made decrees and doctrines. Sin is the transgression of the Torah. The Torah was given as a covenant. The penalty for breaking the Torah is the “curse of the law”. Yeshua redeemed us by being a curse for us when He died on the tree. When Yeshua died on the tree, He paid the penalty for our sin through His shed blood. Yeshua did NOT nail the Torah to the cross. He nailed the penalty for breaking the Torah to the cross. In Ezekiel 37, we see a valley of scattered and dry bones. They represent the whole house of Israel. When Yeshua gathers and unites the 12 tribes of Israel, it is likened unto a resurrection from the dead. The prophecy is that there will be a reuniting of Northern kingdom and Southern kingdom upon the mountains of Israel (biblical Judea/Samaria): And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all. Ezekiel 37: 22 The “sign” is seeing the glory of the God of Israel. All nations shall see it, and they will know that Yeshua is YHVH! And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. Isaiah 66:19 What is this sign, this glory of the Lord that shall be seen, and is the “sign” of His coming? The SIGN is this: Yeshua is returning at His second coming to gather and unite the twelve tribes of Israel. He will lead them back to the land by the cloud by day and pillar of fire by night. The cloud by day and pillar of fire by night is the glory of the Lord. Yeshua told His disciples that He would return in GREAT GLORY. This means multiple clouds by day and pillars of fire by night. The gathering and uniting of the twelve tribes of Israel is likened to a wedding. This is the prophetic link to the parable of the ten virgins. What is the Melchizedek Priesthood? It is the office in the government of the God of Israel. Yeshua is the head of that government. As the head, Yeshua is a Melchizedek priest. When you are a Melchizedek priest, you are walking in the office of being a king, priest and firstborn. To run this kingdom, it needs a constitution or a rule of law. The constitution of this kingdom is the Torah, the written word of God. The Father, who is the king, gives the administration of this kingdom to his son, Yeshua, who is the Great High Melchizedek priest of the heavenly tabernacle. To have a kingdom you need a place to rule. That place is the entire universe, and the earth is His footstool. The “capitol” from where Yeshua will one day rule and reign from is Mount Zion or Jerusalem (Isaiah 2:1-3). To have a kingdom you need a people that you are going to govern. That people are known as “the house of Jacob” (Luke 1:33), or the nation of Israel (Hosea 1:10-11). The authority element of this kingdom is the Melchizedek Priesthood. Yeshua is the Father’s agent who administers his kingdom. When Yeshua created the world, Adam was the first Melchizedek priest of the Kingdom of God on the earth. From Adam to Jacob, there were 12 Melchizedek priests. Noah was the eighth Melchizedek priest. When Yeshua died on the tree, did he nail the Torah to the cross? The doctrine is as follows: that before Yeshua died on the tree, we were in the Age of Law, but after Yeshua died on the tree, we are now in the Age of Grace. This doctrine is also called “Dispensationalism”. However, this doctrine is the heart of “Replacement Theology”, the belief that the church has replaced Israel and that the Age of Grace supercedes (or does away with) the Age of Law. This doctrine says that because we are now living in the Age of Grace, believers in Yeshua as Messiah are not obligated to follow the “Law” (or the Torah). This goes back to the basic understanding of what sin is. Here is the bible definition for sin: Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Torah: for sin is the transgression of the Torah. 1 John 3:4 So, sin IS transgression of the Torah. If we repent of our sin, then we are to start following and obeying the Torah! Torah includes all of the bible, from Genesis to Revelation. Paul also wrote: For until the Torah sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no Torah. Romans 5:13 If the Torah has been “done away” with, then it is not possible to sin. This makes no logical sense. When we repent of our sin, we are to stop sinning and pursue a holy life. We are to follow the Torah by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit and live a holy life. We will also be looking at the departure journey of the Shekinah. We want to see the connection between the Shekinah to the Mount of Olives and Yeshua. The Ten journeys made by the Shekinah include: *From cherub to cherub *From the cherub to the threshold of the house *From the threshold of the house to the cherubim *From the cherubim to the East Gate *From the East Gate to the Court *From the Court to the roof *From the roof to the altar *From the altar to the wall *From the wall to the city of Jerusalem *From the city of Jerusalem to the Mount of Olives What we are going to do is look at the “journey of the Shekinah” that the rabbis teach about and see how this parallels the journey of Yeshua. The ministry of Yeshua was for three and a half years. That is how long the Shekinah is said to have abided on the Mount of Olives. Does the God of Israel have a prophetic time clock? How is creation a prophecy of time? How is the exile of Israel prophetic of time? How is the Jews 70 year captivity linked to the last generation? When Yeshua mentioned the parable of the fig tree, does it refer to Israel? Is the birth of the modern nation of Israel a time clock for the last generation? How long is the last generation? How are the 70 weeks of Daniel associated with the last generation? How long is the prophetic 'Day of the Lord'? All these questions and many more will be answered in this teaching. Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see. Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? Who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD'S servant? Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not. But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. Who among you will give ear to this? Who will hearken and hear for the time to come?Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? Did not the LORD, He against whom we have sinned? For they WOULD NOT walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his TORAH. Isaiah 42: 18-20 In this session we look at the account in Mark 8:22-26 of the healing of the blind man at Bethsaida. Yeshua literally healed this blind man. But at the sod level, at the deeper meaning of the text, we also see that the Northern Kingdom, the house of Israel is regarded as being “blind”. (Isaiah 42:18-20). What causes that blindness? For they WOULD NOT walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his TORAH. They had departed from the Torah and now they are walking in darkness, they are blind. In the regathering of the House of Israel who have been scattered the nations, they are associated with being blind and lame. When Yeshua healed the blind man, on the deeper level, He was making a declaration He is the Messiah and He would be healing the exiles of Israel by causing them to return from their exile to the land of Israel and in doing so, they will be following His Torah. “Thou shalt not kill.” Exodus 20:13 Yeshua goes from the letter of the Torah to the spirit of the Torah when He states this principle in the Sermon on the Mount, showing that the Father is looking not just at outward behavior but He is also looking at the thoughts and intentions of the heart: You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5: 21-22 In the Sermon on the Mount, Yeshua is teaching us to do MORE than follow the letter of the law/Torah but to follow the SPIRIT of the law/Torah. Lets summarize: *Israel, Torah and the Messiah are ONE *What happens to Israel happens to the Messiah. What happens to the Messiah happens to Israel. As an example of this, Israel was taken to Egypt, brought out of Egypt, got immersed in the Red Sea, was tested in the wilderness, and got taught Torah from a mountain. Similarly, in Matthew 1-5, we see how Yeshua has a miraculous birth, was taken to Egypt, was brought out of Egypt, was also tested in the wilderness, and taught Torah from a mountain. *Ephraim, in Genesis 48, is referred to as a “multitude of nations”. *When Yeshua was speaking to the multitudes from a mountain in Matthew 5, at the sod level, on a deeper level, he was speaking to Ephraim, to the northern kingdom. *Yeshua was teaching them how to believe in Him by faith and how to follow His Torah and be a Torah bondservant. 13. Conclusions The thrust of this week's commentary, in the form of an apologetic, has been presented in an effort to educate the two camps, both Jews and Gentile Christians. Many Messianic as well as non-Messianic Jews still struggle with the intended meaning of "what it means to be a new creation in Messiah, walking out his Torah in our lives"; moreover, many Gentile Christians struggle with this issue as well. By default, the world does not struggle with these issues since it has not accepted HaShem on his grounds in the first place. 13.1 Messianic Symbolism in Yom Kippur The high priest had to enter every year with a new sacrifice. The sacrifice of Yeshua "a high priest forever" (Hebrews 5:6) is good forever. The old high priest entered a symbolic Holy of Holies, made with human hands. Yeshua entered the real Holy of Holies -- the very throne of God in Heaven. (Hebrews 9:11) The scapegoat carried away the sins of the people. In Yeshua all our sins are carried away "as far as east is from west" (Psalm 103:12). Once all the expiatory (sin-forgiving) sacrifices are done, the priest puts on his priestly robes again. When Yeshua had accomplished his sacrificial mission, he put back on the glory of his divinity. When the priest returned from the tabernacle (as Yeshua will return from Heaven), he offered the festival sacrifice. When Yeshua returns, it will be for the full and final redemption of his people Israel. (Ezekiel 16:63) 13.2 Introspection In addition to identifying with our people, we need another, more intimate reason for what we do. Yom Kippur is a good occasion to look inside and take a spiritual inventory. With its central themes of sin, atonement and forgiveness, the holiday naturally lends itself to this kind of spiritual introspection. Though we are made righteous in Messiah, we still sin. We are told to flee from sin and pursue righteousness, yet at the same time John bluntly reminds us, "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us." (1 John 1:8) Yom Kippur focuses on the need to confess sin and receive God's forgiveness. It's not only tailor-made to promote our witness to others (as it gives occasion to discuss these spiritual issues), but it is also a holiday for us to take stock of our own lives before God. The litany of sins we confess in the Al Chet acts as a mirror so we can see ourselves honestly and come clean. Nevertheless, if you attend traditional Yom Kippur services, stay alert as you progress through the liturgy. The system that traditional Judaism has built to address the reality of sin and the need for forgiveness is not altogether theologically consistent with our faith. We do not believe that three books are opened at Rosh Hashanah and that we have ten days to make everything right before the books are closed and our fate sealed. We do not believe that repentance, prayer and charity (or good deeds) can secure God's forgiveness for sin 13.3 Intercession In Nehemiah fasting is used to deeply express the people's repentance (9:1). Later, God speaks through the prophet Joel and declares, "Even now, return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning" (Joel 2:12). In other instances fasting is a means of intensifying prayer in the face of dire need. This was often true when the enemies of Israel came against us (cf. Esther 4:3; II Chronicles 20:3) and our survival was on the line. So it is on Yom Kippur, when it is believed that our individual fate hangs in the balance. As believers we can certainly fast as an expression of repentance and as an intensification of prayer. But there is another reason to fast on Yom Kippur. That reason is intercession. When Ezra wanted to pray for the people leaving Babylon he called a fast (Ezra 8:21). When Esther was about to take a big risk she asked the community to pray for her, accompanied by fasting (Esther 4:16). Daniel fasted as he prayed on behalf of the exiled Jewish nation (Daniel 9:3).

When Yeshua uttered the words "love your enemies" (as recorded by Luke), what particular enemies did he have in mind? This lesson also covers the need to always remember that every one of us was an enemy of Yahweh when He loved us. This will aid in helping us to love others who are unbelieving, ungrateful, and do not love us back.

HEALING FROM A STRANGER IN YOUR BODY Beverly Mitchell of Douglasville, Georgia (USA), returned home after a vacation to Greece. Much to her surprise she discovered that her house was NOT as she had left it. When she entered the house she could see that someone was redecorating. Carpet torn out, rooms repainted, photos on the walls of people she did NOT know. Washing machine and dryer installed that she did NOT own. A dog she did NOT own. A woman wearing her clothes she did NOT know. And the electrical utilities had been changed to the name of another person. This is a strange thing to happen. Another person you do NOT know taking over your house. However, this is WHY many people are sick physically as well as mentally. Another being has take over their house: taken over their body or mind. That other being is a spirit of affliction: a demon spirit sent by Satan to oppress with the end result of illness, disease, or breakdown. Remember, Yeshua taught, “The thief (Satan) only comes to steal, kill, and destroy.” But the Good News is, “(Yeshua) came that you may have life, and that you may have it abundantly.” SOME PEOPLE ARE BOUND BY A DEMON SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY There was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity 18 years, and she was bent over, and could not in any way straighten herself up. When Yeshua saw her, he called her, and said to her, "Woman, you are freed from your infirmity." He laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood up straight, and glorified God. (Brit Chadashah: Luke 13:11-13 – See also Mark 9:25 and Matthew 8:16) YOU CAN CAST OUT THE DEMON SPIRITS WITH THE NAME OF YESHUA (JESUS)   “These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons.” (Brit Chadashah: Mark 16:17)   SPEAK TO THE DEMON SPIRITS AND COMMAND THEM TO LEAVE   The seventy returned with joy, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!" (Brit Chadashah: Luke 10:17)   FIRST, BIND SATAN IN THE NAME OF JESUS, AND THEN CAST OUT THE DEMONS   Yeshua said, “If I by the Spirit of God (Ruach Elohim) cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you. How can one enter into the house of the strong man, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man? Then he will plunder his house.” (Brit Chadashah: Matthew 12:28-29)   “If Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he ca not stand, but has an end. But no one can enter into the house of the strong man to plunder, unless he first binds the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.” (Brit Chadashah: Mark 3:26-27)   ASK YESHUA TO BE YOUR LORD – THEN USE HIS NAME TO CAST OUT DEMONS   Yeshua taught, “Whatever things you will bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever things you will loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Brit Chadashah: Matthew 18:18)   YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE SICKNESS OR DISEASE OR PAIN   When evening came, they brought to Yeshua many people who were possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases." (Brit Chadashah: Matthew 8:16-17)   THE NAME YESHUA IS ABOVE THE NAMES: SICKNESS, DISEASE, AND PAIN USE HIS NAME IN FAITH AND CAST OUT THE STRANGERS IN THE HOUSE   “Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him ha Shem which is above every name; that at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Yeshua ha Meshiach is LORD, to the glory of G-d the Father.” (Brit Chadashah: Philippians 2:9) Baruch haba b'Shem Adonai. Focus on the area where God uses you the most - do NOT let the enemy get you off track!THE FIRST SECRET TO REACHING MULTITUDES FOR CHRISTRight now, I am reaching more people in Communist China than anywhere in the world. And, that's with the government trying to block Christian broadcasting and literature distribution. Also, I reach Jews in the land of Israel in their own places of residence and business.By God's grace, I preach somewhere in the world 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. And I do NOT have to ask anyone for money!I had one Israeli businessman fly to the USA and call me on my UNlisted phone number. He told me, "I will pay you anything you ask, just to meet with you." We met, and I spent two hours with him in the Tanach (the Old Testament) and he received Yeshua as his Messiah. Immediately after, I took him to a flight reservation and he flew back to Israel. In the next few podcasts I am going to teach you my secret ... the secret God revealed to me years ago. When Yeshua saw the great crowd, His heart was touched, and He had pity on them for they were like sheep without a shepherd. (Mark 7:34)There are lots of people today who are without a shepherd, or who do not have a worthy shepherd.Jesus’ heart is touched for these people and, like the disciples who only had five loaves of bread and two fish, He wants you to give Him what you have so that He may bless it, multiply it, and feed the multitudes. You do NOT have to be concerned about reaching the multitudes for Christ if you are willing to give the Master what you have.Do you have the ability or gift to teach, to sing, to heal, to pray, to give, to deliver, to encourage, to evangelize? What is the area of service in which the LORD most uses you: now and in the past? You will know because people will confirm it. They will tell you how you have been used to help them. They will thank you for being a vessel of God.Do NOT let the enemy get you off track.Focus on the area which is white hot from the foundry of the Holy Ghost. You do NOT have to be concerned, either, with what other people think of the uniqueness of the ministry with which God has entrusted you.Just walk in fellowship with the LORD and enjoy His presence. The world . . . and the world system . . . judged Jesus from the start of His ministry until they crucified Hm. That same world system . . . sometimes including “religious? Christians . . . will do the same to you.Reflect upon WHERE and HOW the Holy Spirit has used you . . . and is using you. You do NOT have to answer to anyone except the LORD Jesus Christ about the ministry God has given you. The ministry God has given you is unique . . . and you are unique.Feed the multitudes! This podcast has been a short preliminary ... the first stage in setting the foundation ... for instruction on HOW to multiply your ministry and expand your circle(s) of influence.
