On today's episode of UFC Unfiltered, Jim Norton and Matt Serra are joined by former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker and undefeated featherweight Hyder Amil! Eager to showcase what he's picked up since his loss to Khamzat Chimaev, Whittaker identifies the specific highly-ranked middleweight veteran that he'd like to fight next. Don't miss as Bobby Knuckles discusses the 180º turn in his relationship with Israel Adesanya before ultimately breaking down what he thinks of this weekend's Alex Pereira vs. Magomed Ankalaev main event at UFC 313. Then, Hyder Amil joins the show fresh off his hard-fought win over William Gomis. He shares the incredible story of battling through multiple injuries during training camp, how his journey from the Philippines to the U.S. shaped his mentality, and what it's like being coached by MMA legend Gilbert Melendez. As the show shifts to recapping this past Saturday's card, Matt wraps up the show by patting himself on the back for a perfect 3-0 showing in his fight picks — enough to erase 12.5 points off Jimmy's early lead in their year-long, head-to-head battle.

Keith and Ben preview UFC Fight Night 253 with detailed predictions and picks for all 12 fights. Even on a lean and mean show (by Shillan & Duffy standards, at least) there was time for Ben to confess his all-time worst takes on debuting fighters, and for the duo to cross over into such side topics as neighborhood prowlers, the shockingly short shelf life of NFL running backs, hypothetical fights between rodeo employees, and of course Bo Nickal.0:00 Intro: Where's a home invasion when you need one?6:34 Charles Johnson (17-6) vs. Ramazonbek Temirov (18-3)16:14 Danny Silva (9-1) vs. Lucas Almeida (15-3)25:10 Montana De La Rosa (13-9-1) vs. Luana Carolina (11-4)38:22 Andrea Lee (13-10) vs. J.J.

UFC 301 goes down Saturday night in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and there are a lot of fun matchups on the card for those in know — including an intriguing title fight at the top, and the return to the octagon of Jose Aldo. And while hardcore fans understand that the event does have the ability to be an enjoyable watch, has the build to it generated the least amount of buzz of any pay-per-view in recent memory? On an all-new edition of Heck of a Morning, MMA Fighting's Mike Heck takes questions about Saturday's fight card, some of the compelling matchups, but the noticeable lack of fan excitement for it. Additionally, listener topics include Tom Aspinall's defense of U.K. fans for the UFC 304 start time, William Gomis' scary weigh-in on Friday, Steve Erceg being a bit of a darling underdog ahead of his flyweight title opportunity against Alexandre Pantoja, and much more.
Zane Simon & Connor Ruebusch are here with the MMA Vivisection PRELIMS SHOW, breaking down a set of 6 bouts on this 12-bout UFC Paris: 'Gane vs Tuivasa' Fight Night event. "The UFC is headed to Paris for the first time in the promotion's history. And while getting the fight card filled out took some doing, with a lot of cancelled bookings along the way, they're bringing a pretty solid Fight Night offering for their debut event. Ciryl Gane will take on Tai Tuivasa in a heavyweight top-contender's bout for the main event, with Robert Whittaker facing Marvin Vettori in a rock solid middleweight co-main. Throw in a killer featherweight booking between Charles Jourdain and Nathaniel Wood and fans should get plenty of action." - Zane Simon 09.01.22 For those fans who wish to dive deeper into the MAIN CARD, check out that version of the MMA Vivi which already aired at 1PM Central today, Thurs., Sep. 1st., 2022, right here on our SC channel. It's time for another one of our infamous & patented Care/Don't Care Podcasts, with your talent: Eugene S. Robinson, John S. Nash & Stephie Haynes. *** The team didn't record an episode of C/DC this week, so this is actually a rebroadcast of only the picks portion of the show they made for this event last Sunday, August 21st. Since then, the first three bouts on the fight card have changed, which did not affect their picks tally. So we have edited the dropped bouts out of the recording, and corrected the current bout order by editing the new bouts into the fight card here in the post — although they were clearly not able to review those three unforeseen bouts for picks at the time of recording. The usual format of the C/DC Podcast will return on Monday, September 5th, 2022 with a review of UFC Paris and picks for UFC 279. UFC PARIS: Gane vs. Tuivasa PICKS (made Sun 8/21) — 1:13 We start off offering you our ‘disclaimer', then our trio will go about predicting the UFC PARIS Fight Night bout sheet from the bottom up, wrapping up the C/DC quick-picks portion of the show with the Main Event.
