Does it ever seem like too much effort to cook a meal when you get home so you opt for take out? Do you have a hard time sticking to your nutritional goals due to things seeming too hard to follow? Maybe there is an issue with response effort in your life. Response effort, essentially is how hard or easy it is to do something, that dictates what we may choose to do. (For the ABA crowd, we go more in depth in the Appetizer). Simply put, you may be seeing issues with your nutritional goals, or any goals for that matter because it is behaviorally expensive to do the thing you wish to do and is far simpler to do the thing you want to change! How do we fix that? Give this episode a listen to learn more. As always, reach us at www.behaviorchef.com!
