That was my experience with learning about the law of mirrors. If you're frustrated with life or others, ask yourself where are you doing this to yourself in your own life? If others are letting you down, where in your life are you letting yourself down? Not following through with holding a boundary with family, not following through with promises you made to yourself. After delivering two 8 plus pound babies in my 5 feet 4 inches frame via two c-sections, I felt like a foreigner in my physical body. I remember looking down at the multiple rolls on my belly, and feeling them touch one another. Going to an office for 9 hours a day, caring for two small kids, and managing life was taking priority over my health and I ended up in a body I didn't even recognize. After a while I got so uncomfortable that a fire lit up. It was a spark that led me down the path of truly figuring out how to transform my body into a Mom Bod I felt sexy and proud in. I share a bit of this journey on this episode. Your physical body does not define you, but elevating your body to a state that you know you are capable of can really boost your confidence and change the way you see yourself and feel and remind you that you are more than a Mama. The first few months of 2022 have been challenging for me. I've been discouraged, down, battling feelings of hopelessness, and felt myself slipping back into a state of depression at times in this season. I've definitely had some conversations with God that involved a lot of questions lol. But I know that I'm not the only one that has to deal with troubling circumstances, so I wanted to share my approach to facing these challenges.  Life is just hard sometimes, but we don't have to let our circumstances consume us.  We can be intentional around showing ourselves compassion and grace, declaring God's Word over ourselves, and anchoring ourselves in those practices that help us to be the best versions of ourselves no matter what obstacle we are facing.  You are not alone, friend.  I pray this episode encourages and points you back to Jesus.
