In this message, My Unwanted Demanding Friend, we look at the book of Job and the painful reality that suffering makes demands on us. Pain must be felt, shared, and brought honestly before God—not hidden behind easy answers or spiritual clichés. Through Job's story, this episode explores four hard but necessary responses to suffering: feel pain, accept reality, voice emotion, and expect God. If you have ever wrestled with grief, confusion, silence, or disappointment with God, this message shows how lament can become a pathway to deeper honesty, deeper healing, and deeper hope. Scripture highlights include Job 2, Job 13, Job 16, Job 19, Job 30, Job 38, and Job 42.

What names do you allow the world to define you by? Unworthy? Unwanted? Unlovable? These are not the names that God gives us. The world will try to label us by our failures, wounds, or our past, but God sees us differently. He replaces the false names with new names—true names that speak of who we are in Him. Worthy. Chosen. Loved by God. In this message, Hosanna Wong shares why we don't need to accept what the world says about us, but embrace who God calls us to be.

Today on the Two Mikes our guest is Professor Edward Dutton, whose extremely popular Substack is called “The Jolly Heretic”. Dr. Dutton has been with us several times previously and we are grateful for his return. Professor Dutton “enjoys researching and writing and speaking about controversial subjects” he can be contacted at e.c.dutton@dunelm.org.uk, and followed on Twitter @jollyheretic. An array of his many books can be seen at: https://edwarddutton.com/index.php/books/ Professor Dutton said today that the late British Queen, Elizabeth II and her family brought their talents to bear while ruling Great Britain and managed to destroy the nation in the process. She reigned in an era in which she allowed the creation and aided in the creation and maintenance of a parallel society in Britain, a society which led to the breakdown of the British police and awarded seemingly endless privileges to immigrant groups that were entering the county illegally. In turn these groups voted not for particular policies, but along the lines of sectarian ambitions for power. These newcomers proved that they could take over the ancient nation to which they migrated and bring in laws dedicated only to protecting their group and other foreign groups that entered the country – legally or illegally – to eventually create a voting machine that all but abandoned British nationals and their families, but delivered much of the power sought by the foreigners. Unwanted, unneeded, and often illegal foreign immigrants to Great Britain, and created a population that has no real contact with traditional British society, intends to dominate it, and created a belief system that has spread across Great Britain and now stands as an evolved, violently anti-British society that shows no signs of having had its day. Indeed, it appears that traditional Britain has seen its day and is only awaiting the arrival of a large casket/ Professor Dutton added that this situation is made worse for everyday Britons by the presence of so many youngish liberal women as the leaders of groups that champion of the various bankrupting government programs demanded by the immigrant crowd. These women – and this is the norm across much of the Western World – see their places at the helm of this proliferating disaster as an unquestionable right, and hey they have very little backbone when it comes to the application of the strength or force that is needed to thwart the worst of the newcomer's demands. Instead these women display their normal blindness to the fact that at times you have to be cruel to be kind so as to make it possible for society to prosper without useless, violent, or mad individuals do not control the country's affairs. In order the human components of Britain's new society – perhaps, at some point, even peaceful -- these women go along to get along with the anti-British foreigners, people for whom heresy from their political goals is worse than the murders they commit.

Every believer eventually faces an "unwanted hill"—a place where obedience is difficult, the path is steep, and the temptation to quit is real. In this message from Matthew 10:34–38, Pastor Farrell Wilson shares a personal illustration from maintaining a steep hillside at his church and reveals the powerful spiritual lessons God taught him through the experience. Just as that hill required effort, patience, and perseverance, following Jesus requires taking up our cross and walking the narrow path of discipleship.Discover why there are no shortcuts to spiritual growth, why God's greatest work is often accomplished in life's hardest places, and how the beauty of Christ is revealed through faithful obedience. This encouraging message will challenge you to embrace the hill God has placed before you and trust Him every step of the climb.
In Australia's suburbs, unwanted household items are often left on the kerb—ready to be discarded, donated or discovered. For Canberra resident Sunita Kotnala, those kerbside treasures became the foundation for a community venture. Founded in 2020, Women's Shed Canberra has since helped around thousands of migrant and culturally diverse women learn practical trade skills, gain confidence using power tools, and challenge traditional gender stereotypes. Today, the initiative is changing lives, one workshop at a time.

Whether you're a betrayed partner trying to make sense of the chaos inside you, or a man who can't seem to stop behavior he hates — this episode is for you. Kristin sits down with Jenna Riemersma, LPC - certified IFS therapist, CSAT supervisor, and bestselling author of Altogether You and her newest book Move Toward — to explore what happens when we stop fighting the parts of ourselves we don't like and start moving toward them instead. Jenna unpacks: Why IFS (Internal Family Systems) is deeply rooted in scripture — and why the image of God inside you is the key to transformation without shame What it actually means to have "parts" — and why feeling torn, contradictory, or out of control doesn't mean something is wrong with you The three-step tool (Notice, Know, Need) you can use in your most triggered moments — no therapist required Why compassion unlocks what control never could, for both the betrayed partner and the person with unwanted sexual behavior How to speak for your parts instead of from them — and why that changes everything in conflict and in healing This is not a shortcut. It's a different road entirely. Move Toward is available now wherever books are sold. Free resources, guided videos, and downloadable worksheets are available at movetoward.com. Crime at a storage facility isn't a matter of if, it's a matter of when. You don't have to be in this business long to deal with a break-in, some trespassing, vandalism, or worse. In this episode, Josh and Melissa kick off a two-part series on fighting crime at your facility, starting with the threats that come from the outside. The big idea? A property that looks awake doesn't get hit. Overgrown weeds, a half-open gate, dead leaves in the driveway in the middle of summer, a mattress leaning against a building for a week. Those are green lights for bad actors. The same eyes a tenant uses to decide "do I want to store my stuff here" are the eyes a criminal uses to decide "is anyone paying attention here." Keeping your property clean, walked, and genuinely cared for is your first and cheapest line of defense. From there, Melissa and Josh break security down into three levels you can build toward at your own pace: Level 1, the non-negotiables: a coded gate system, good security cameras, and lighting. If your budget only allows one, light it up. Nothing happens in a well-lit lot. Level 2, leveling up: motion or full-property lighting (and grab those nighttime photos for your website), coded exit as well as entry, fence-top deterrents like razor wire where it's legal, privacy screening, cameras with alerts, and restricted access hours. Sometimes a simple 9 or 10 PM cutoff solves most of your problems. Level 3, serious protection: anti-passback codes that shut down tailgaters, active monitoring through AI cameras like Arcsi or a live security company, on-site guards, and patrolling the lot at close to make sure nobody's loitering after hours. The name of the game at every level is the same: knowing exactly who is on your property, and when. Join us as Elder Andrew Bair continues our sermon series, The Way of Wisdom, with a sermon entitled "An Unwanted Invitation" from Proverbs 9:13-18.
In Episode 466: What Is CERN? we are joined by Dave Zed from Generation Zed Podcast. A few months ago, I was a guest on the popular show, The Union of the Unwanted, a panel discussion show. They brought me on to talk about UFOs, and that is where I met Dave. He blew me away with the knowledge he has obtained and he left me wanting to learn more. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, when we had a listener ask in our Instagram comments, "What is CERN?" I knew then that I had to do a show on CERN, because the last CERN-related episode was Episode 57! It's clearly been too long and new listeners need to be introduced to the subject. I reached out to Dave, as he seemed to be someone who might know a little about CERN, and my assumptions we correct. On Episode 466, Dave breaks down what he believes CERN to be and what its true intentions are in the world. Is it simply a harmless underground 17-mile-in-diameter particle accelerator that crosses the border of Switzerland and France? Or, is there something more to it that they are not telling us about? Is it opening portals to another dimension? Are things actually coming through these supposed portals? If the latter is true, could we possibly be living in the real-life version of Stranger Things or worse? We explore these topics in today's episode, "What Is CERN?"Please pray for Tony's wife, Lindsay, as she battles breast cancer. Your prayers make a difference! If you're able, consider helping the Merkel family with medical expenses by donating to Lindsay's GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/b8f76890

When Chicago blues pianist, singer and songwriter Johnny Iguana (The Claudettes) discovered bands like Minutemen and Husker Du as a teen in Philadelphia, it opened up a world of musical possibilities he's STILL unpacking. He eventually came into possession of The Roxy London WC2 - a live album of recordings taken from various punk bands that played at The Roxy club in Covent Garden, London between January and April 1977 - and the raw, unfettered performances of bands like Wire, Buzzcocks and X-Ray Spex captivated him like nothing else at the time. Most leaders think high turnover is a retention problem. But it's not; it's a leadership problem. And the fix is the exact opposite of what most leaders do.Staff turnover is still widely misunderstood. And most leaders operate from a place of fear, responding to it defensively. They tiptoe around their people, lower the standards, and tolerate poor performance so they don't rock the boat. But, ironically, this is the worst thing you could possibly do for your retention problem. In this episode I give you my views on how to frame the turnover problem; I look at an article from Harvard Business Review that confirms what great leaders have always known. And I give you a practical framework that you can implement: four things to stop doing and four things to start doing.Links mentioned in this episode:No Bullsh!t Leadership episodes:Ep.27: Unleashing the Power of Your PeopleEp.355: The New Rules for High Performing TeamsHarvard Business Review article:Surprising Ways to Reduce Turnover in High-Pressure, High-Skill JobsSupporting research:Operational Overload: The Impact of Workload on High-Skilled Workforce AttritionWikipedia link:Yerkes-Dodson LawNurse Org article:Nursing Demand His New HIghLBT link:Leadership Beyond the Theory————————Have you taken our free Leadership Blindspot test?✨ In just 5 minutes you'll uncover the hidden leadership habits holding you back.Get your Blindspot Score and know exactly what to fix before it costs your career!TAKE THE FREE TEST HERE————————You can connect with me at:Website: https://www.yourceomentor.comFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/yourceomentorInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/yourceomentorLinkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/martin-moore-075b001/Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@YourCEOMentor————————Our mission here at Your CEO Mentor is to improve the quality of leaders, globally. ✨ If you've finished Leadership Beyond the Theory but still find yourself needing a sounding board for the real leadership challenges, applications are now open for the next intake of The No Bullsh!t Leaders Club.Join Marty, Em, and 90+ high calibre leaders for straight answers, tough conversations, and ongoing support to help you lead at a higher standard: leadershipbeyondthetheory.com/nblc Hosted on Acast. In FOLLOW UP, the guys marvel at the completely normal state of America as Amnesty International issues a travel advisory for the 2026 World Cup because apparently “visiting the United States” now comes with the same vibe as backpacking through a failed cyberpunk state. Then it's onto Dead Podcast Theory, where more than a third of all new podcasts are AI-generated “podslop,” proving Silicon Valley heard “everyone has a podcast” and responded with “what if nobody did?” Meanwhile, Ticketmaster reminds everyone that if you've purchased a concert ticket since 2010, there's probably a class action settlement with your name on it and enough compensation for half a convenience fee.IN THE NEWS is basically one long panic attack sponsored by AI. The White House is considering regulating AI models, Canada says OpenAI vacuumed up everyone's personal data like a drunk Roomba, Character.AI allegedly impersonated a licensed psychiatrist, and Mother Jones found ChatGPT still happily helping aspiring mass shooters workshop their plans. Snap's Perplexity deal died quietly in a ditch while Meta keeps assembling humanoid robots like it's building the world's most annoying version of Westworld. Then GameStop tries to buy eBay in the dumbest sentence ever typed, Ryan Cohen gets himself banned from eBay while trying to meme-finance the deal, Elon Musk settles with the SEC for pocket lint money, Coinbase fires people because “AI,” Toto accidentally becomes a semiconductor giant through toilet technology, and smart glasses officially evolve from creepy gadget to extortion accessory.MEDIA CANDY brings some relief with Daredevil: Born Again and Widow's Bay. The Academy finally decides AI-generated actors and scripts can't win Oscars, which feels like the bare minimum required to stop ChatGPT from getting Best Supporting Actor before Willem Dafoe. In APPS & DOODADS, Pornhub returns to the UK thanks to Apple's age verification system, Ask.com finally dies and takes Jeeves with it into the great dial-up tone in the sky, and Apple agrees to pay users because “Apple Intelligence” arrived somewhere between vaporware and wishful thinking. Finally, THE DARK SIDE WITH DAVE tackles the true meaning of “decimate,” AI-powered C-3PO heads, mechanical keyboards for grown men who refuse to use laptop keys, Maul: Shadow Lord, The Boys, and a reminder that Solo was a great movie, grocery store adventures, lost AirPods, and the eternal mystery of why middle-aged dudes become furries.
