In a similar way that Nathan used a story to bring conviction of sin to David, Jesus uses a parable to confront the religious leaders with their sin. David repented but the leaders of Judaism did not. They rejected their Messiah!

How are we to prepare our hearts for communion? I Corinthians 11:27-29 suggests at least the following two ways: 1) We must examine ourselves and 2) We must discern the Lord's body.
The Christian life is a life of work. We cannot please God through laziness.

There are many lessons from Numbers 17 and 20. We gleaned three major lessons: 1. God's persistence in communicating His will to His people, 2. Rebellious and Mixed up thinking go together, 3. When God speaks we need to obey Him!
Three practical questions about loving others: 1. How can I love others? 2. How can I demonstrate my love for others? 3. How can I grow in my love for others?
