We live in a WILD, WILD world... what if the key to thriving in it is in finding your creativity, your ability to play and improvise into each and every moment? What if getting out of your comfort zone and PlayCreating forward is the key to not only achieving great success, but to also having a lot…

Shannon is on to something really big. When you work with nutrition in the context of life and what creates WELL-th, it becomes transformational and sustainable. In this wild world we live in, understanding this is maybe more important than ever to finding and being in your well. Shannon was a gymnast - a really, really exceptional gymnast who was on the US National Team and one of few to be inducted into the University of Utah's Crimson Club Hall of Fame. In reaching that level of achievement and beyond, she tested all the waters of what it takes to create meaningful, lasting success. What she discovered was that no one else's secret to success was her secret to success. She had to unlock that on her own, and so do you. What she did uncover was the magic of the "process" of discovering your own secret sauce and the essential elements that support that process. She calls them her 7 pillars, and we LOVE them. They are: Mind. Body. Food. Nature. Play. People. Rest. Today, in our podcast, she unlocks each of these and provides so many awesome ideas to stepping into them. You will find something incredibly valuable to work with here, I promise ;-)Listen on Apple PodcastsListen on Google PodcastsListen on SpotifyRocketTrike StudiosDon’t forget to subscribe to hear new episodes each week!
Shannon’s responses to our 5 questions are pure gold. Jill and I both signed up for headstand “classes” with her on the spot. Talk about getting unstuck! And today, I break our rule of only asking our 5 questions. Why? Because Shannon’s response to our creativity question is so good, I can’t resist exploring it even more. This is what it’s all about, you guys! Best thing about 5 questions? It’s power packed insight in just 10 minutes.Listen on Apple PodcastsListen on Google PodcastsListen on SpotifyRocketTrike StudiosDon’t forget to subscribe to hear new episodes each week!
DAY FIVE!!!! Whoop Whoop! This has been a really special adventure and I love what I'm hearing from you all about your experiences. I'm re-learning and learning so much about better, more transformational ways of listening as well, and am so very thankful to you all for this.Today, we explore tools to help us practice listening well in any context. It's easy to listen well when conditions make it easy, it's much harder when emotions are high. So what does it take to listen well, no matter what? How can we show up prepared to listen well? As you can guess, it takes practice, it takes getting out of our comfort zones, and we've got some little bits of insight to help. Share your experience with us:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RocketTrikeStudios/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/rocket.trike/
It's Day 4... let's dive deep into that filter that most gets in our way when we are listening. We tend to listen THRU the lens of ourselves. It's hard not to. And yet, that is often the very thing that gets in the way of listening well. Don Miguel Ruiz wrote one of my first life-changing books called the Four Agreements. One of those four agreements is "Don't Take Anything Personally." Today, we explore how we can let go of our own egos so we can listen to others well. I didn't know this was where Day 4 was going to go, I'm really glad it has though. This is good stuff! I also invite you to keep an eye out for tomorrow's final exploration because this is where we bring all of this full circle. When, where and how we listen lives in context and contexts change dramatically - sometimes overnight in global ways as we are witnessing first hand. Listening in context has the profound ability to transform our understanding and experience of the world and people around us, as well as our understanding of and experience within ourselves.
Day 3 of Listening...Days 1 and 2 we started "priming" our bodies and our beings to be better listeners to the world around us. We did that mostly from a place of observation, focused on deeply tuning into what we were observing/witnessing. Today we get to start exploring this thru engagement. Let's start practicing and exploring our experiences when we listen "bigger" as we engage with the people around us.
Our email yesterday had some formatting issues, apologies for that. Maybe that was a happy accident though... our communication didn't come thru as well as it could have because communication is so much more than just words. It's how they are formatted, the tone of them and everything else they are surrounded with. That's our focus for Day 2. Listening from all the places we hear from, not just our ears. Imagine if we all approached our listening a bit more like this puppy... ears open, eyes and body language intently focused on the person or people communicating with us, heart open to receive, no preconceived notions, mouth closed. What might we hear, what might we understand that we didn't before? How might this way of listening shift our ability to understand? And how might this way of listening also help others understand us better? Using our voice is incredibly important and we'll do a whole adventure on that too... it's much easier to be heard by others, however, when they know we do everything in our power to listen to them, to understand them. If you haven't listened to Day 1 yet, we highly recommend you do that first. These will all be around 10 minutes, short and sweet, but powerful. We are always looking to create conversations and explore together, so PLEASE ;-) be sure to share your experiences with us via Facebook or Instagram. Tell us what’s working for you, what’s not. What aha’s come up. Let’s explore this together and all listen and learn from each other.
Take a minute and think about this. How often - in your day to day life - are you REALLY TRULY listening? How often are you listening to understand versus listening to reply/respond? Listening to understand means that you aren’t thinking about what you are going to say, you’re not thinking about your next question or that thought they sparked, you are truly and deeply just listening to understand what they are saying with no other intention than that one.And how often do you, yourself, feel truly, deeply listened to and heard? How does that feel when it happens? This week, I’m really excited to share a “Listening Adventure” with you all. You ready to find and create some pretty serious magic with your listening skills? Sweet. So are we. Today is Day 1 and takes only about 12 minutes of your time to explore. We promise it'll be worth it. :-)It is pure magic to watch the Flight Camp teams and individuals I work with start to re-engage this ability. Collaboration and co-creation goes thru the roof. The not so productive behaviors? There’s really no space left for them. Listen here for Day 1 and PLEASE be sure to share your experiences with us via Facebook or Instagram. Tell us what’s working for you, what’s not. What aha’s come up. Let’s explore this together and all listen ;-) and learn from each other. With love and creativity, Kirsten

Today’s visualization is a fun one, the stuff of discovery and innovation. Walt Disney was so incredibly good at utilizing his imagination, so let’s check in with ours. Join us as we explore what it might feel like to trust that picture that shows up on your paper (a mouse?! ;-) and build it into so much more. And then, we imagine and discover what it is that might be wanting attention on your own piece of paper… Visualizing, using our imagination, is a powerful tool that helps us step outside of the left brain and into our creative (right) brain where we can discover things we might not when we don’t intentionally spend time in that space. Almost all of the “greats” in history used their imagination, their creative sides and their intuition to help them break open possibilities we didn’t know existed until they did - Leonardo DaVinci, Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Marie Curie, Martin Luther King, Steve Jobs, Nikola Tesla… and so very many more. This is powerful, real stuff that makes a big difference. Like everything we share, we invite you to play with it and find a form that works for you.Listen on Apple PodcastsListen on Google PodcastsListen on SpotifyRocketTrike StudiosDon’t forget to subscribe to hear new episodes each week!
Bill Severns, former MLB’r, Author, Speaker and founder of Keeper’s Legacy and Keepers of the Sandlot, shares his wisdom thru our 5 questions. We are loving this new segment and hope you are too. Who knew 5 questions would evoke so much wisdom? What really stood out for me with Bill is his gratitude for the relationships he’s built. Bill Severns LOVED baseball as a kid. He spent a lot of time at the sandlot, broke A LOT of windows at home. One of the bonuses of his paper route was the doughnuts he got daily for doing a doughnut run for the Police station (anyone see the humor in having the paper boy replenish the cops’ doughnut supply? ;-) It was a bonus until it contributed to his getting cut from the baseball team the first day of tryouts. In this week’s podcast, learn how Bill went from doughnuts to diamonds - he broke many records at University of Oklahoma, then played for the Milwaukee Brewers organization, then coaching for over two decades and now leads families, coaches and so many more on the fine art of joyfully “playing” into your life. This guy knows his stuff, and this podcast is full of awesome insights you can take with you. THIS WEEK’S CHALLENGE: Join us for this week’s challenge. We are playcreating and trying something new this week. We’re calling it 5 questions… And, dare I say, I’m thinking this is going to be an awesome new addition to what we’re already doing. My dear friend, Gary Hirsch, has willingly jumped in as our first to try this with us, and WOA, does he brings some wisdom. He even turns the tables on me!
Gary Hirsch suffered from horrible nightmares as a kid and the growing fear was intense… until his dad did something magical. Gary was invited to draw the monsters that were eating him alive, and to talk about them over cinnamon toast in the middle of the night. It helped. And then one night, his dad invited him to do something new, and it changed everything. What Gary learned thru these experiences with his dad is one that has the power to help all of us transform what we fear into something we can work with, especially in times like these. Those same monsters that brought Gary so much terror, now deliver joy on a global basis in all aspects of Gary’s life and work. It’s a pretty incredible story. One we can all learn from. ADDED BONUS THIS WEEK: Gary is giving all our listeners and social crew his LESS FEAR. MORE JOY coloring book. This one is awesome for adults and kiddos. YOUR MISSION THIS WEEK: Every week, we are giving you a mission related to our podcast topic - a tool to try and see if it works for you. This week: Get curious about your fears/monsters so you can see what they want to transform into. Those of you who share your experiences by tagging us (Facebook @RocketTrikeStudios Instagram @Rocket.Trike) or using #RocketTrikeStudios on social media will win an opportunity to get a special, one-of-a-kind JoyBot from Gary Hirsch. So who is Gary Hirsch? Gary is the co-founder of On Your Feet - a global consultancy that works with companies like Apple and Nike to break thru on teamwork, ideas, creative thinking and so much more. He is the founder of BotJoy, has told his story on the stage at TedX and is a regular at the World Domination Summit in Portland…to name just a few places you may have seen or heard of Gary. Any chance you get to spend some time with this guy, do it! He brings a lot of joy and light to things.Listen on Apple PodcastsListen on Google PodcastsListen on SpotifyWatch on YouTubeRocketTrike StudiosDon’t forget to subscribe to hear new episodes each week!
This one is good for work, life, anywhere, but we were so curious about Jill Shroyer’s input on the importance of gratitude at work in our last podcast that we wanted to dive in deeper. Often “gratitude” at work comes in the form of a program that offers gift cards or a bonus at the end of the year and maybe doesn’t even come with the words “thank you.” This isn’t about any of that, nor is it another talk on the power of the “compliment sandwich” that’s become so commonplace, people don’t feel it’s genuine at this point. Gratitude, when delivered in genuine and organic form can play a powerful role in your success, and in creating a really strong environment for teams – whether you’re the leader of that team, or on that team. Gratitude is a form of kindness and bringing it will transform things for the better - even in unexpected moments and places, like with the high performing jerk on your team, or during layoffs. 50 years ago today, against all odds, Apollo 13 safely returned to earth. Splashing safely into the Pacific Ocean after a harrowing adventure into space that entailed one life-threatening crisis after another. I’ve been sharing this with a lot of people this week, only to learn that a lot of people don’t really know about Apollo 13 today, and or don’t really remember the story. The Apollo 13 story is one of overcoming massive crisis, against all odds. Whether you know the story or not, this is one for the ages, and one for each of us. It’s especially relevant in this time. If there's anything that needs some attention right now, it might just be our breath and our hearts. This very short visualization packs a power punch. You know how important oxygen is to your being, and how important your heart is to creating flow in your body, but did you know the heart's magnetic field is 5,000 times stronger than the brain!!!? Incredible. This visualization breathes into our hearts, allowing us to step into our heart space in a powerful way. This visualization brings our breath to our whole being, allowing us to find our calm and openness, allowing us to bring more love to ourselves, those close to us and maybe even to the world. That magnetic field is a powerful thing :-)Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3a3bhb4Listen on Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/2VhAKcNListen on Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3a1RuZURocketTrike Studios: https://www.rockettrikestudios.com/Don’t forget to subscribe to hear new episodes each week!
Think of this visualization as the grounding wire to your wild, electrical self :-) The gamut of emotions and feelings people have right now is VAST. Some are feeling more at peace than ever - able to nest and just be on a level they’ve never been able to. Others are feeling more fear and uncertainty than ever before - many of whom are on the front lines of this. And many of us are feeling all of this at once or in waves of it at different times throughout our day. A really helpful tool is to make sure to spend some time each day connecting and grounding yourself. Pretty much anything with a lot of energy needs a grounding source. You do too ;-) This visualization is a great way to do so and is one of our favorite tools any time, but especially now. Enjoy!Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3a3bhb4Listen on Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/2VhAKcNListen on Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3a1RuZURocketTrike Studios: https://www.rockettrikestudios.com/Don’t forget to subscribe to hear new episodes each week!
VISUALIZATION - Sending Love to the Front LinesIf this time has taught us anything, it’s how important and amazing the people on the front lines are - medical teams, grocery store teams, hardware store teams, teachers and so many more… How we can support them when the options are so limited? Take some action. This visualization is a powerful way to do that. It may sound crazy that a visualization (prayer, meditation… whatever you want to think of this as) can do anything, but we promise you that working with this visualization will make a difference - for them, for you, for everyone. You’ve probably heard the phrase “you are powerful beyond measure”? We believe that phrase is very telling… “beyond measure”. So many of our greatest gifts are beyond measure, this is one of them. The power to support, love and send gratitude to people, even when you can’t do it in a physically “measurable” way. :-)Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3a3bhb4Listen on Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/2VhAKcNListen on Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3a1RuZURocketTrike Studios: https://www.rockettrikestudios.com/Don’t forget to subscribe to hear new episodes each week!
Seemingly overnight, the world changed. We are wishing all of you well, wishing the entire world well. Our little ski town has been hit hard. Wherever you live, this is touching us all in unexpected ways - health, finances, connection to loved ones, schooling, business, mentally and so much more. This is such a wild experience, where we are learning on such a massive global level, and yet, on such an individual level as well. Where we are "isolated" and yet, have such amazing opportunities to be connected. Context is an amazing teacher, bringing us opportunities to see what we couldn't see before, to learn and grow, and to get creative learning how to work with new dynamics - even if we have no choice but to live within those new dynamics. It's not an easy teacher, but it can be an effective one. What can you do with this time to work with this teacher? Creativity isn't just a nice idea in this time, it may just be essential to it. It's going to take creativity to solve the challenges we face, to pivot and find new ways of making things work, to find the "gifts" and silver linings behind the challenges, fears and uncertainty. Gifts and silver linings that may just be what helps us thru. The number one thing we ask is that you take care of you!! Fill yourself with whatever nourishes you to stay as "fit and well" as possible thru this so you can show up to it as healthy and able as possible. As we continue learning our way into this unexpected world, we're going to share some of the podcasts we recorded prior on creativity as well as continue to invite creativity forward. We'll also be recording podcasts specific to this time, lots of visualizations/meditations to help us all ground and center ourselves as well as workshops and other opportunities to connect and engage with one another. Any ideas you have - please share! Whatever your feelings about the Disney company of today, you have to give creds to Walt for betting his last dimes on a mouse, which led to Steamboat Willey, which led to the dynasty we now know as Disney. What Disney does really, really well, is give creativity space to grow. We talk about the Dreamers who come up with the ideas, the Realists who make things happen and the Critics who evaluate and refine. How can we work with this process, and a few others, to create more effectively in our lives and work? Steven Pressfield wrote The War of Art in 2002 but it may be more important now than ever. This podcast was recorded before the world changed. This recording is wildly interesting now - looking back at what we didn't know was coming. This time invites us to find and activate our creative selves more than maybe any other we've ever been in - as individuals and globally. This podcast and this book provides some powerful direction on how to step more fully into yours. Your form of creativity is uniquely yours, and the gift you bring to the world when you embrace it and bring it forward is so important. The world needs your unique form of creativity, your unique ability to see things in new ways, solve problems from new places, and to execute your ideas in ways that may just make a really big and positive difference - whether just to yourself, or maybe your inner circle, or maybe your community, or maybe - just maybe - to the world. Thank you February! Hello March. This month we shift our focus to CREATIVITY (the language of heart and soul). To celebrate, we wanted to share our first visualization/meditation podcast with you! This one's all about building your compassion - especially self compassion, which creativity needs a lot of. You’ve probably heard, visualization and meditation is all the rage these days ;-) This “rage” will probably stick around because it truly is so beneficial. We love it for how well it works to create space and balance of mind and heart - giving you what you need to show up to the world fit and well and ready to PlayCreate Forward. We can both speak from personal experience to its benefits (especially when you find the forms that work for you) and this one we're about to share is one of our faves. “Love yourself first and everything falls into line.” - Lucille BallSarah McLean - the person who brought this meditation to Kirsten’s awareness - is amazing. This is her Loving Kindness visualization and it is so beautifully simple, yet very powerful. It builds our compassion not just for others but also for ourselves. Sarah will tell you, and we have seen this as well, that this one works some pretty incredible magic for people. I’ve seen transformations happen right before my eyes when I share it. Once you’ve heard this one a few times, it’s an easy and very useful one to play with - anytime, anywhere. You can make it yours and as long or as short as you like, depending on how much time you have. ENJOY!! You can find Sarah at www.mcleanmeditation.com, on many of the meditation apps and thru her book, Soul Centered. If there is any time of year where we are surrounded by the wonder and joy of creativity, it's spring. Let's use the inspiration around us to inspire the creativity within us.Creativity is a process, and while it's often a "messy" process, it almost always takes us to better places when we embrace it, explore it, and LET GO of controlling it. Post It notes, Velcro and so much more came from this embracing of the process over a predetermined outcome. Companies that create creative cultures tend to thrive. It’s the last week of February! As we finish off exploring our focus on LOVE this month, we dive into the role it plays when things go sideways. Whether it’s Mercury Retrograde, just a bad day, Murphy’s Law, something you created or whatever it might be we all have those times and experiences in our lives when things seem to go sideways. Fun fact - a quick google search shows there are 18,809 sets of lyrics with the words “bad day” in them… Well, maybe you didn’t know it, but Mercury is retrograde right now, and is famous for being blamed on all kinds of bad days and weeks for people. So, of course we have to play with that! How do you work with those times when things go sideways - whatever the cause? Not surprisingly, love and compassion have a lot to do with it. It’s so easy to take those times personally, to feel like that person - or even the world itself - is against you. What’s the key to transforming it all? Love. Starting with your self so you can show up to anything “fit and well.” Ready to learn how to transform those times when things go sideways?Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/id1487707097Listen on Google Podcasts: https://podcasts.google.com/?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5idXp6c3Byb3V0LmNvbS82MTI4MDgucnNzListen on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2so1pPKv6MrL6dSyeM6gS1RocketTrike Studios: https://www.rockettrikestudios.com/Don’t forget to subscribe to hear new episodes each week!
As we continue to explore the heart this month, Jill and Kirsten kick off this episode with a favorite quote “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” - Howard ThurmanWe explore what this means including, how the heart is the compass to finding what makes you come alive, the importance of baby steps in finding it, and the difference you make when you start taking those steps - at work, at home, in relationships, in everything.
We're so thrilled to have our friend Sam Cullinane join us today with her refreshing authenticity and willingness to share her experiences and wisdom on love, marriage, life and anxiety. She and her husband, Patrick, authored BIGGER LOVE how to have the love of your life for the rest of your life, and the upcoming, MARRIAGE from miserable to magnificent. They facilitate couples workshops and retreats and also co-host The Not-So-Perfect Couple, which is an awesome podcast to tune into. Sam even has two TedX talks under her belt, openly tackling the importance of sex in creating love in relationships. Let's just say this amazing woman has a lot of experience and knowledge on the topic of LOVE. Sam shares how she went from divorce papers and separation 10 years into her marriage to today's magnificent relationship with her husband Patrick, now 24 years strong. She's learned a major key is loving yourself above all else so you can love others more. Sam also talks about the importance of compassion over empathy to hold space for partnership, in grief and in love. Not only has self love transformed her marriage, but Sam is also recently learning it may be a major key in working with her PTSD and anxiety. As Sam says in this podcast, love is a verb... a very powerful one. We hope you'll join us for this very insightful conversation about the power of Love.

We intentionally waited to welcome 2020 with you until a few weeks of "resolutions" had passed us by. This episode is all about other ways to welcome 2020 in - maybe letting go of the "fixing" of things (which resolutions often tend to be about), and shifting into creating (intention and action). We explore the power of Intention as an incredibly helpful tool, especially when it faces forward. What do you want to feel inside moving into this next decade? What happens when you let go of what it needs to look like and embrace what you want it to FEEL like? There's still plenty of time to Create Forward into your New Year/New Decade's space... just like moving into a new home. What goes? What stays? What kind of life do you want to create in this new space? And even more important, how do you want to FEEL in this new space? Identifying that can make an immense difference in your ability to create the life you want this year. Here we come 2020!
We tend to think of a pause as a moment to do nothing… but in actuality not much "nothing" happens in a pause. A pause tends to be where the magic lives - where very much needed insight and clarity shows up. And yet, somehow, we’ve created this world where GO GO GO is the norm and pauses tend to be rare. As we finish out our epic conversation with Robert Poynton, we explore why a PAUSE justified an entire book dedicated to it and how it can make a meaningful difference in your work and life to incorporate this more and more into all you do.Check out more of Rob's latest projects:The Pause Project: https://www.robertpoynton.com/about-the-pause-projectThe Creative Tapas Experience: https://www.robertpoynton.com/thecreativetapasexperience
What if Pause and Play are two keys to working with uncertainty and complexity? And what if they can actually help bring joy to what tends to be incredibly uncomfortable and often stressful situations? Our epic conversation with Robert Poynton continues into the power of pausing and the importance of play. Learn what we mean when we talk about "pausing" and when we talk about "play". Yes, we like to play Twister, but that's not what we're talking about here :-) One of my favorite parts of this episode - did you know your heart doesn’t have its own pacemaker? That it’s actually a beautiful improvisation of cells that appears to set the pace of your heart? Who knew?! If anyone’s work and experience speaks volumes about the power of play, creativity and improvisation in life and especially in business, it’s today’s guest. We welcome Robert Poynton, author of Do Improvise and Do Pause, co-founder of On Your Feet, and Associate Fellow at not just one, but two of Oxford’s schools - the Said Business School, where he is faculty on the Strategic Leadership Program AND at Green Templeton College where he collaborates on the Oxford Praxis Program - a platform for experiments and innovation. And that doesn’t even begin to capture it all, but you get the picture. This guy knows his stuff and has played a significant role in the path Kirsten has chosen. In part one, we explore Rob’s experience translating improv to business and life, including the beautiful simplicity of Let Go, Notice More and Use Everything as a foundational element in everything he does, even in his work in complexity. We also discuss how a Constructive POV (what can I do with this?) can be even more effective than optimism (and pessimism) in Creating Forward.Check out more of Rob's latest projects:The Pause Project: https://www.robertpoynton.com/about-the-pause-projectThe Creative Tapas Experience: https://www.robertpoynton.com/thecreativetapasexperience
Today, we explore and expand on our favorites from our conversation with Robert Poynton - the importance of territory versus "the" path, embracing the box to get out of it, sensing and responding, the power of the "pause", constructivism to move beyond optimism/pessimism and much more. If you didn't get thru all three parts of our conversation with Rob, you'll hear about the things that really stuck with us in this episode. As always seems to happen with us, we find ourselves unexpectedly launching from there into our experiences going into the "cave" (tough times), the Hero's Journey, finding the "gift" in the tough stuff, the importance of "hospitality" along our journey and how you can help yourself and the world by leaving a trail of your very own unique hospitality.
This is a GOOD one. You know the movie "The Matrix" when people are able to almost pause time in the moment to get clarity around what's happening and what to do with it? YEA. Today we explore how to get there. This is that magical place where Notice More, Use Everything and Let Go all connect. This entire podcast is a really good one but if you only have time for that extra juicy stuff, it starts roughly 15 minutes in. Our podcast kicks off with that daily struggle between diligently crossing off your "to do's" for the day (i.e. "staying focused") and turning towards the unexpected that shows up. What might we miss when our "need to focus" takes precedence too often? How do we balance getting what truly needs to get done with that big, unexpected offer sitting right next to you hoping you'll notice it? You'd be surprised how often it's right there in front of you and you don't even see it. Kirsten relistens to this one often because there's so much good stuff in it.
Choice is one of the most powerful things you can tap into to Create Forward. This episode is all about working with and activating the power of your choices - even when you feel you don't have a choice (spoiler alert - getting in touch with your "have to's" is a game changer). We explore the potholes of perfection and the "in between" (i.e. not making a choice) and how to shift from there to place of flow and forward momentum. Activate your power of choice in just 30 minutes with this podcast. :-)
How are your expectations, perceptions and assumptions working for you? These filters often get in the way of what's really right there in the moment, leading us to create unnecessary challenges and even miss the awesomeness that's right in front of us. Today, Jill shares her EPA model - Emotional Polluting Agents - and we explore how you can use this "notice more" tool to creatively use your mind in ways that fuel you rather than derail you. Ah... time and energy. And the elusive idea of "managing" it. How can we play with time and energy to fuel us rather than feel the constant lack of it? How can we work with timing to make the most of things? How does slowing down, even pausing, help us actually maximize what we have to work with? And how do we block time to flow into what's most important to us? It's time to PlayCreate Forward more effectively with time on your side.
Join us as we explore the third element of our launchpad - Use Everything - on today’s podcast. There are always more resources available to us than we might realize. How can we find and work with them to CreateForward with? Listen to find out ;-)
Welcome to our 3rd podcast! Thank you for listening and all the positive feedback. This one is all about another core area of Rocket Trike's Launchpad: "Notice More". Why is "noticing more" so important? What sorts of magic happen in life and work when you "notice more"? (Spoiler alert: A lot of magic happens). What can you do to strengthen your ability to "notice more"? We explore it all today on our PlayCreate Podcast #3 :-)
In this podcast, Jill and Kirsten dive into one of the core elements of Rocket Trike's launchpad: LET GO. What, really, is letting go? How does it work? Why does it work so incredibly well when we learn to do it and continue to get better at it? We explore the powerful role of Let Go in life, work, play, parenting and more and why it's such an essential part of PlayCreating Forward.
Join Kirsten Gunnerud and Jill Johnson as we realize one of many dreams and start our Play Create Podcast. This is the first, where we explore the power of creativity, play and improv to not only survive but THRIVE in today's world. We also share Rocket Trike's launchpad - a powerful foundation from which to PlayCreate Forward. Thank you for listening!
