On this week's episode, Rob and Meghan had the pleasure of interviewing Joe Hall, a local Fairborn resident who walked across AMERICA! You read that correctly; he walked across the entire United States on foot. Joe has an incredible story and reason why he decided to take on such a daunting task of walking 3,176 miles. Joe's goal to raise awareness for mental health, his drive to finish what he started, and the joy he found along the way, are just a few aspects that we hope will encourage you as much as they did us. Check out the show notes for information on Joe's charity focus and ways you can help. Welcome to lucky Episode 13 with Rob and Meghan! On this episode, Chris Morse, with the Fairborn Phoenix, stopped by to talk about upcoming projects, events, dreams, and more with the Fairborn Theater. The theater sat dormant for twenty years before Chris and Jordan Terrell approached the City in 2019 about showing a documentary filmed by Terrell in the theater. In October that year, they opened the theater's doors to patrons who sat on church pews in the remnants of what once was a glorious theater and watched an incredible documentary. Three years later, Morse and Terrell continue their pursuit of opening the theater and creating a space for the community to come and enjoy the arts of all kinds. Also, in the episode, Rob and Meghan highlight a few things happening around the community, discuss a few projects, and even briefly mention a social media meltdown.
