Summer is here and school is out! Graduation season is upon us and the stories are already out! It's only been a couple of weeks of ceremonies and we already have at least six trending stories. Seems like graduates and guests just don't know how to act. And on this show, the administration gets it too! But, we gotta start with the speakers. There is an awful trend going on with guest speakers talking highly of AI tech. And according to Manny Oso, it's ripped straight off of TV. You'll also hear the stories from your favorite hosts' graduations. Senior year is crazy! Nicky tells us how it ended up. And we gotta bring up the Cap Throwing situation. Some of us didn't get to do it and we're here to talk about it. Congrats to the graduates! Now let's see what's next for you all!But anyways, you tell us!- How impactful was your graduation speaker?- Was the One Clap thing for the kindergarten class, too much?- Have you seen guests fighting over seats at a ceremony?Watch the many angles of the back-flip gone wrong:https://www.boredpanda.com/florida-high-school-graduate-backflips-into-classmate-gone-wrong/?utm_source=chatgpt.com#xGuest are asked to only clap once per graduate:https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8sdrbNT/The Last Walkhttps://x.com/tmz/status/2061889477107155451?s=46Guests fighting over seatshttps://x.com/fearedbuck/status/2059317121490788568?s=46To keep up with the Ducks in charge follow:FB & IG: @BubblebathstoriesNicky Trendz IG: @nickyTRENDZManny Oso IG: @gotnotime4dissFor official Merch head over to Bubblebathstories.co☎️ Or call us at 347-878-1144 !!!
This episode of The Teacher Think-Aloud Podcast, hosted by Anna and Shé, features Northeastern University educators Rachel Toncelli and Ilka Kostka, co-authors of Artificial Intelligence, Real Teaching: A Guide to AI in ELT, discussing practical and pedagogical approaches to AI in English language teaching. They address common misconceptions, including fears that AI will replace language learning, and argue that language remains essential for human connection, cultural nuance, and intercultural competence. Rachel and Ilka explain why banning AI doesn't work and emphasize transparency, ongoing classroom dialogue, and using AI as a teaching challenge by having students critically analyze AI output, translations, and AI-generated emails. They also share a 10-category framework for evaluating AI tools based on alignment with learning goals, usability, feedback, bias, privacy, cost, and scalability, and encourage teachers to take small, collaborative, hands-on steps to build AI literacy.

This episode is a little bit different than our usual live recordings. Usually our live recordings are on stage, in front of an audience- with guests that follows a very similar format to what we usually do. This episode is not that - it has many guests- who will introduce themselves, a hazy plotline, and was recorded with a stolen microphone, unofficially, guerilla style at the first ever MacAdmins Europe conference. Follow me throughout the day as I accost victims- I mean guests- on the spot and ask questions about the conference, their perspectives, and what they've enjoyed most. Most practice owners think hiring problems begin after the employee starts. Usually, they begin during the interview. Because the wrong admin can sound amazing in a conversation. They can be friendly, confident, experienced, and still end up becoming one of the biggest operational headaches in your business. That's especially true in a Cash-Based practice. This model requires a very different type of front desk team member than most traditional Insurance-Based clinics are used to hiring… The communication responsibilities are way higher. The ownership level must be higher. The ability to follow scripts, handle feedback, and help guide patients through a sales process matters far more than most owners realize. If your interview process doesn't identify those qualities and skills, you'll pay for it later through poor conversions, operational chaos, and a schedule that has way more gaps than it should have. And if you're interested in my recruiting, hiring, and interviewing system that automates the filtering out of bad candidates who might otherwise talk their way into your business, check out "The Automated Talent Attraction and Hiring System" What You'll Learn in This Episode How to identify the characteristics that matter most before hiring Why many experienced medical receptionists fail in cash-based practices The biggest interview mistakes most practice owners make How to ask questions that expose red flags quickly Why coachability matters more than experience How to use AI to generate the best interview questions to identify the best fit for a specific role you're trying to fill How to determine if you are ready for full-time administrative help USEFUL INFORMATION: Check out our course: Cash-Based Practice Mastermind
In this episode of The Teacher Think-Aloud Podcast, Shé and Anna are joined by Dr. Linh Phung, decorated language educator, researcher, innovator, and the creator of Eduling app, to explore the principles and practical applications of Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), an approach that shifts the focus from isolated language practice to meaningful, goal-oriented communication. Together, they unpack what truly makes a task “task-based,” challenge common misconceptions, and highlight how TBLT creates more authentic, engaging, and learner-centered classroom experiences.Rather than treating language as the end goal, this episode reframes language as a tool for achieving outcomes—encouraging learners to solve problems, negotiate meaning, and communicate with purpose. From designing effective tasks to structuring a full task cycle, the conversation offers both clarity and practical strategies for teachers looking to move beyond traditional models and into more meaningful language use.

In this episode of The Teacher Think-Aloud Podcast, Shé and Anna are joined by ESL teacher and founder of The ESL Grammar Gallery Audrea Gold to explore a refreshingly practical and research-informed approach to grammar instruction: the NUFU framework—Noticing, Understanding, Forming, and Using.Moving beyond traditional rule-based instruction, Audrea reframes grammar as a meaning-making tool rather than a set of isolated structures to memorize. Together, the conversation unpacks how teachers can design lessons that help learners engage with grammar more deeply, retain it longer, and—most importantly—use it with confidence in real communication.

With agentic AI reshaping what it means to work in Salesforce, Mike Gerholdt makes a compelling case for why the role of a Salesforce Admin isn't shrinking, but shifting. The value was never really in the buttons Salesforce admins click, but in the judgments they make.Jack chats to Mike about everything from the principle of least privilege in an agentic world, to whether generalist or specialist skills will win out as the platform keeps expanding. Mike also shares why the admin who hoards their knowledge, whether that's contacts in a Rolodex or config know-how in their head, is ultimately doing their organisation and themselves a disservice. In Episode 175, Spencer and Tyler break down NetTools — a free, self-contained Active Directory management and troubleshooting tool that's become a go-to for their internal penetration testing engagements. They start with the backstory: years of relying on AD Explorer from Microsoft Sysinternals, and the growing need to evade EDR detections. At one point, that meant manually obfuscating binaries with a hex editor. NetTools eliminates that friction entirely — no installation, no dependencies, no signatures to fight.Topics covered include:Why NetTools replaced AD Explorer and how EDR pressure forced the shiftGroup Policy enumeration, including how to spot dangerous GPO permissions like authenticated users with write access to server OUsLDAP Search & Browser for querying AD, identifying risky data (like passwords in descriptions), and exploring object relationshipsAssigned Trustees & Permissions Reporter for fast, visual identification of misconfigurationsHow to run NetTools from non-domain-joined machines using saved credential profilesPassword checker functionality for targeted validation without spraying the environmentFor pentesters, it's a faster way to get visibility into AD risk. For IT admins, it's a practical way to audit and harden your environment.NetTools combines the functionality of multiple tools into one portable utility. Learn more at nettools.net. If the word sales makes you—or your staff—feel uncomfortable… You are not alone. It's one of the most common mental barriers in cash-based practice. Clinicians feel it. Admins feel it. Receptionists feel it. And unfortunately, that discomfort quietly crushes growth. Because if you don't feel good about selling, you won't do it well. And if you don't do it well, fewer people say yes. Fewer people stay on schedule. And more people drift away before they get the help they actually need. That's what this episode is about. Not cheesy persuasion. Not manipulative scripts. Not becoming someone you're not. This is about reframing sales for what it actually is in a Cash-Based practice: Helping people make the decision that is best for them. P.S. This episode comes from my in-network / partially in-network Forum group, which is a 12-month program for practice owners who want to drop low-paying contracts and/or simply increase their cash-pay revenue at the lowest possible risk. We're about to begin enrolling the next cohort, and if that sounds like something you'd want to explore, you can email me at jarod@drjarodcarter.com to learn more. What You'll Learn in This Episode Why discomfort with sales is one of the biggest hidden barriers to success in the Cash-Pay model How to reframe selling so it feels ethical, clear, and aligned with patient care The mindset shift that helps clinicians and admins stop resisting sales conversations Why "selling to serve" is the only frame that matters How to talk to your staff when they feel weird, hesitant, or resistant about selling USEFUL INFORMATION: Check out our course: Cash-Based Practice Freedom 2.0
