In a barely veiled warning to tech companies, it has promised to make things tough for those that don't comply. In First Amendment news, police body camera footage released today shows two Denver officers told The Colorado Independent's editor, Susan Greene, to “act like a lady” as they handcuffed and detained her in July for attempting to photograph them as they responded to a call on a public sidewalk. In death penalty for tickets news, unpaid traffic tickets saw a Nevada woman in jail, where she began to suffer drug withdrawals and seizures. Days later she was dead, after being denied medical care. In crossing the thin blue line news, a Dallas police officer who authorities said entered an apartment she thought was hers and killed a young man has been arrested on a manslaughter charge.
