Because imagine being a former NBA player. You've spent your career playing against grown men. You have competed against LeBron James. You've been dunked on by people whose necks look like fire hydrants. You've spent 82 games getting your ribs rearranged by other professional men. Then you retire. And someone says: "Have you considered the WNBA?" That is not a career move. That's a plot twist. Maybe this is the NBA's new retirement plan.
