Some of these thought patterns cause us to stumble in relationships, work, or lifestyle. When we break those biases we can enjoy better living. Are You Aware of The Heart Brain Coherence? The heart and brain are closely connected, and this connection is especially important for senior citizen health. As we age, our hearts and brains naturally change, and these changes can increase our risk of developing certain health conditions. One of the most important ways to keep your heart and brain healthy in old age is to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This includes eating a balanced diet, exercising regularly, and getting enough sleep. It is also important to manage stress and control chronic health conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol. There are a number of other things that senior citizens can do to keep their hearts and brains healthy, including: Staying socially connected. Social interaction is important for both mental and physical health. Make time for friends and family, and get involved in activities that you enjoy. Learning new things. Keeping your mind active can help to protect your cognitive function and reduce your risk of dementia. Try learning a new language, taking a class, or playing a challenging game. Getting enough sleep. Sleep is essential for both physical and mental health. Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Managing stress. Stress can have a negative impact on both heart and brain health. Find healthy ways to manage stress, such as exercise, relaxation techniques, and spending time in nature. If you are a senior citizen, it is important to talk to your doctor about your heart and brain health. They can assess your risk factors for developing certain health conditions and recommend strategies to keep you healthy. Here are some additional tips for senior citizens to keep their hearts and brains healthy: Eat a Mediterranean-style diet. This diet is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats. It has been shown to reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and dementia. Exercise regularly. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise most days of the week. Exercise helps to improve cardiovascular health, reduce inflammation, and boost cognitive function. Get regular checkups and screenings. This will help your doctor to identify any potential health problems early on, when they are most treatable. The balance against this philosophy is the idea of incremental improvement other wise known as consistent personal growth. The challenge for the “don't fix it crowd” is the threat of never improving, growing or addressing the issues which don't appear broke. The challenge for the”constant improvement crowd” is the threat of perpetual tweaking and the shiny object syndrome. These practices often lead to constant change but not allowing a process to play itself out and prove or disprove the success of the modification. There really are cures which are worse than the illness they address. The are paper tiger slayers who are significantly more dangers than the paper tiger!! AWARENESS IS THE KEY to transformation - sometimes awareness is required to PREVENT a transformation which is ultimately undesirable. Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) is a condition where people experience symptoms of all kinds in response to toxic chemical exposures from everyday consumer products found in the home, office, and public environment.It is a phenomenon of the twentieth century, a result of the increase of consumer products made using toxic substances and materials.
