Wingnut Social: The Interior Design Business and Marketing Podcast
Are you thinking of creating an online course? Guest Ariel Schiffer is the Founder of Dreampro, the first-choice course creation agency for entrepreneurs and small business owners - and she's also helping build a Wingnut Social course! Today, we discuss who should create a course, the potential of an online course, what goes into the course creation, common mistakes, and much more. Ariel Schiffer is the Founder of Dreampro, the first-choice course creation agency for entrepreneurs and small business owners. She has over 10 years of experience working with Fortune 50 companies, non-profit organizations, small businesses, and private companies to develop their professional and leadership development programs. Her agency offers expertise in creating courses and programs with a mission to improve the quality of education and offerings in the online space. *** ⭐️Even as a DIY-er, you can still make a phenomenal course. It's not about having all the bells and whistles, or crazy video editing. It's about being extremely clear with potential course members and letting them know what they'll get out of the course. A good course is designed based on the people who are taking it. When it comes to learning something new, it can be uncomfortable to step out of your comfort zone. To make this process easier for your course members, make your course something that really relates to their lifestyle. This will create a stronger connection with your course members as well. ⭐️When it comes to figuring out who exactly your course will help, and what it will help them do, get as specific as possible. Unless you have a massive audience or credibility, get as niche as possible in your digital offerings as it will allow you to market yourself even more. Listen to the noise - what are people sick of? What are they begging for? What are people constantly asking about? As much as we don't like to be in the noise, listen to it! It will ultimately clue you in to what's trending, and what people are craving right now. Once you figure this out, you'll be able to offer something really valuable and help your learners overcome something they're currently struggling with. ***
Say hello to a very special guest host this week! I brought Ariel Schiffer on primarily to share her experience as one of my bookkeeping clients. Ariel originally purchased my DIY template, then took the leap to monthly bookkeeping, and is now a CFO client. Ariel's desire for more was the catalyst behind me even offering a CFO offer. She's not just a client though- I am a repeat client of hers. Ariel is the owner of Dreampro Courses, the team of course creation experts behind BABs and Libby. Little did I know when I signed her as a client that the relationship would one day blossom into not only a mutually beneficial work relationship but a friendship as well. That's not all we talk about, however so get ready as we cover everything and nothing when it comes to running your own business, like: Course creation as an asset to your current business Adaptability as a cornerstone of how you operate What we love about each others' programs How neutral perspectives are so beneficial for your business' continued growth Ready for a truly fluid and unscripted conversation as Dreampro CEO Ariel Schiffer and I cover all sorts of topics? Nothing is off limits including marketing, the value of bookkeeping, and pivoting within your business and more. This is a story and episode you won't want to miss! This week on Aligned & Ambitious Radio, we'll have a conversation about why launching is so important and part of my five-step process for having a launch that earns at least five figures. “And I believe in launching so much because it builds security, it builds stability, it builds predictability, which I think is really powerful in business. So, for example, a launch can last anywhere from like one to three weeks and generate anywhere from like three to twelve months of income for you. Which is insane.” Throughout the episode, I will talk about how launches actually enabled me to earn a full-time income, which was a super empowering experience. I also address how the pandemic right now is providing many people with more free time than they usually have, making now a great opportunity to establish a business or do your first launch so that if something unexpected happens again, you'll have additional financial security.
