It's Dyngus Day in Buffalo, New York where identical twin sisters Lilah and Laylah Larceny (pronounced LAR -SEN-EE) are celebrating their favorite ethnic festival as they are getting ready to retire from their 30-year careers as makeover queens. The twins are similar, with some differences: One twin believes in ghosts and the other in Aliens from outer space. Unbeknownst to Lilah, her newly adopted pet cat, whom she calls Dyngus is a bit of both. One day as Lilah is watching a YouTube video, she comes up with an unusual idea about how she can retire comfortably abroad for free! But her sister Laylah who has always been competitive with her sister on the down low discovers her plan and takes off for Scandinavia without her! Happy Dyngus Day everyone! We were here and ready to bring you ALL of the best Dyngus Day fun, WHILE still socialk distancing and helping you through this quarantine-time! Recapping Easter Weekend, the Show U Your Mask Contest, Embarrassing Easter Zoom chats and some great guests including Jody Lomeo, Pat Hammer and Jared Miller, all took place on this Dyngus Monday. The Did You Know Minute with Rob was on point and as efficient as possible. The TrendZone had some great stories and audio including Tom Hanks hosting SNL, homemade haircuts and Beatles memorabilia. We talked about our Easter Weekends and how we fared while social distancing. With today being Dyngus day we also filled you in and you filled us in on what everyone is doing for the day after Easter celebration. Video Easter was rampant this holiday season with all of the distancing due to COVID-19 and we talked about some of the embarrassing and funny moments that may have happened to you! Pat Hammer from WGRZ Channel 2 weather filled us in on the incoming winds for today. Jody Lomeo CEO of Kaleida Health joined the show to update us on how the healthcare workers are handling this and how we can continue to help slow the spread, flatten the curve and more.
