On this episode of Have Kids They Said, Nicole is using the show as her personal GRWM moment—because why not podcast and contour at the same time? Meanwhile, Rich dives into the science of “Super Agers” and wonders if surviving on cold coffee and leftover mac and cheese is disqualifying him from the club. The parenting duo tackles the internet's latest controversy: the new Lilo & Stitch live-action remake. Then it's onto the wild rise of the Savannah Bananas—part baseball, part circus, all chaos—and why kids (and their exhausted parents) are here for it.Nicole and Rich also debate which of our childhood movies still resonate with today's kids— it's a generational vibe check. Nicole also confronts a parenting dilemma: dirty jokes and innuendos...do you explain it, ignore it, or pretend you didn't hear the question while texting your therapist? In the listener inbox, one dad asks if he went too far for his daughter's first date, and another listener needs guidance on food etiquette at kids' parties—how much food are we talking? Plus, long-term storage at Grandma's house. New episode. New drama. Same parenting energy. With Nicole off on a well-earned vacation, Rich is joined by his longtime radio pal Niko for a dad-filled takeover of the pod. The two kick things off reminiscing about becoming dads around the same time, how their crew first came together, and the wild ride from those early days to now. They dive into their joint Memorial Day weekend adventure, featuring a whirlwind trip to Legoland and the San Diego Zoo with the families, where carnival games stole their wallets, animals got unexpectedly scandalous, and what their kids declared “fancy”. Niko also shares a bizarre tangent into “conception photography” (you've been warned), and the guys commiserate over the looming question every parent is asking right now: what the heck are we doing with these kids all summer? From the idea of sleepaway camps to letting the kids make their own summer bucket lists, the panic is real, but at least they're in it together. We want to hear from you! This week on Have Kids, They Said, Nicole is joined by a very special guest, Sara, aka Rich's better half, who steps in while he's out. The episode kicks off with birthday madness: Are kids' gift expectations getting totally out of hand? Nicole and Sara weigh in with personal stories, including Nicole's hilarious (and slightly terrifying) tale of why 3-year-old Parker escaped from a hibachi restaurant. The duo also dives into the struggle of convincing their daughters that they are still cool. (Legitimately. Probably. Maybe?) They discuss the etiquette and practicality of gift registries, both for birthdays and housewarmings: helpful or too much? Weekend sports get the spotlight next, with both moms discussing their roles on the sidelines...Are you a full-on Mama Bear when your kid is in the game? Or more of a Zen Zone cheerleader? Things get real when Sara introduces the world of Black Shower Girl Tok (check out the creators' handles below!) and insists everyone join immediately. That spirals into some next-level oversharing (yes, from both of them), childhood flashbacks, and Emmy's questions that lead to a few stories from Nicole and Sara's teenage past.

Have Kids, They Said…

Nicole rolls in rocking the gun show (thank you, no shirt sleeves), and things spiral hilariously from there. The duo tackles tattoos, parent exhaustion, and Nicole's schedule that would break mere mortals. A wild convo about jersey numbers leads to a very awkward rabbit hole.

On this episode, Rich and Nicole have had it—why do kids treat parents like background noise? Rich shares a classic moment of Ben-level sass, while Nicole shows that baby her might've been a Prince lookalike. It only gets weirder when Rich admits he had a dream he was dating someone very unexpected… and then Matt randomly shows up, asking the exact same questions Nicole did about the new pope. They also unpack the chaos of weekends that are anything but “chill,” swap stories on how to handle backtalk without losing it, and dig into whether it's wrong to skip your kid's award ceremony when your household is one meltdown away from disaster. It's fast, funny, and full of the kind of unfiltered parenting truths we all need...just make sure your kids aren't listening! Rich spirals about keeping the podcast fun, while Nicole vents about Matt the Grouch and their marital communication breakdown. They react to a wild survey on why first dates flop—cue Rich's rage over men's hygiene habits. There's talk of Rich's snack regrets, gym struggles, and the absurd expectations placed on 8-year-old athletes. Nicole plays detective involving a Snapchat post and Parker, while they both talk about who you would NOT take parenting advice from. Have Kids, They Said…

In today's episode, Rich and Nicole share the top 5 signs that nothing's going to be happening in the bedroom tonight, from Rich's wife Sarah wearing headache hats (if you don't know what those are, don't worry; Nicole doesn't either) to a simple but rare “No, not tonight,” from Nicole's husband, Matt. Later in the ‘What We Hate' segment, Rich is understandably sad about his dog getting older, which is why Nicole cheers him up by sharing more about her recent experience in Las Vegas, including a story involving — Rich's words — a “sloppy drunk lesbian from the bathroom.” Lastly, Nicole leaves us with the reminder to always make sure you're off speakerphone before talking about how horny you are, while Rich lets us in on his wife's recent illegal escapades.
