Emmy- and Tony-nominated and Grammy-winning actress Danielle Brooks opens up to Ashley about pushing through some of her darkest hours to find love, sisterhood and her purpose. She talks about the sacrifices that led to dream roles in HBO's Peacemaker, Netflix's Orange is the New Black and The Color Purple on Broadway. She also describes how she balances marriage and motherhood with the hectic career of a working actress. Danielle vividly recalls the “no” that led to her biggest blessing, and how that closed door prepared and positioned her for all the open doors that followed. She confides in Ashley that her big dreams have proven small compared to what God had planned for her.
This week Tim and Kevin start to talk about HBO's Peacemaker, but mostly just end up psychoanalyzing John Cena.

On this week's #StarWars news and rumors, we talk about the #Kenobi trailer, #BadBatch, #SWCA and more!www.ATGcast.compatreon.com/ATGcast@ATGcast1.The Obi-Wan Kenobi series dropped the long awaited teaser trailer as part of this past Wednesday Disney Investor Day presentation. Clocking in at just over 100 seconds, the preview features classic Star Wars music including the famous Duel of the Fates and Battle of Heroes tracks from both The Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith. The teaser shows the titular character living a solitary life on Tatooine, and opens with him saying “The Fight is Done. We lost.” It cuts to a scene of Kenobi watching a young Luke Skywalker from afar and whispering “stay hidden.” The rest of the voiceover features the Grand Inquisitor, a Jedi Hunter who was introduced in the Rebels animated series saying things like “The Key to hunting Jedi is patience. Jedi cannot help what they are. Their compassion leaves a trail. The Jedi code is like an itch. He cannot help it.” Along with glimpses of other inquisitors, both new and those seen in Rebels, viewers also see Uncle Owen who is being reprised by Joel Edgerton who played him in both Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith . The tag line that displays on screen in Prequel-era font reads “Between darkness and defeat, hope survives.” 2.Before the trailer dropped, Entertainment Weekly released a handful of photos and an article featuring shots from the upcoming Kenobi show. And on Thursday they released an image of the return of Darth Vader – played once again by Hayden Christensen. When the magazine asked Hayden for more details on his presence on the show he said QUOTE “I wish I could tell you. I'm sworn to secrecy.” However he did add “we're going to see a powerful vader.” EW also talked to the show's writer, Joby Harold, who said, QUOTE “Vader's shadow is cast across so much of what we do and the degree of his proximity to that shadow is something that we'll discover. But, he is very much a part of the show emotionally for Obi-Wan and possibly beyond as well.” A video was also released where Kenobi lead Ewan McGregor said being on set with Hayden as Anakin made him feel like QUOTE “The period between episode 3 and now didn't exist.” He also told the story of walking out onto the stage for screen tests with other actors on an off day for the Mandalorian that the weight of playing Obi-Wan again struck him.The limited streaming series starts May 25 only on Disney plus.3.Fans looking to go to Star Wars Celebration but were unable to score tickets in 2019 when they first went on sale will be given another chance on March 15 when additional tickets will be released at 9am pacific, noon eastern. Social media posts that featured new star wars celebration artwork also posted that current COVID guidelines will include proof of vaccination and masks at to enter the event. Star Wars Celebration takes place in Anaheim California from May 26 to the 29th. 4.The Book of Boba Fett continues to perform according to The Wrap and Parrot Analytics. For the week of February 19-25, the Disney plus show was the number one show in demand above HBO's Peacemaker, Paramount's 1883 and Amazon's Legend of Vox Machina.5.More information dropped this week on the upcoming Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga video game as the publicity continues to build. According to Assistant Game Director, Dewi Roberts, “one of the big things we wanted to focus on when we started this game was freedom. We wanted to blur the line between levels and open world exploration as much as possible.” The game has been riddled with delays and remains one of the most anticipated games by Star Wars and lego game fans since its originally announced release of early 2020. However, the game has gone gold – meaning it is ready to ship – and will be available across all major gaming platgorms on April 5.6.The Kiner brothers – the team that created music for the Clone Wars, Rebels and most recently The Bad Batch joined the Convor Call live stream on Thursday. They spilled some info on the upcoming second season of the Bad Batch including that they've been working on the soundtrack since the end of Season 1. They shared that Omega will be a little older in Season 2, that there will be more characters and there is at least once scene on the galactic capital planet of Coruscant. While giving out information on the upcoming Bad Batch seson they also said they are working on a new Star Wars animated show as well. While there has been no announcement of a new show, there has been job listings on Icon Creative Studio's website for an unannounced Lucasfilm animated show. The Bad Batch was announced earlier this year in Star Wars Insider to be coming out in Spring 2022, but that has since been removed.

Jake and Ryan have a TON of news to get through this week folks. Like we haven't had this much news to just blitz through in quite some time so grab a helmet, grab a seatbelt and strap in because there's SO MUCH to cover this week. The Super Bowl was last Sunday (you know, in case you live under a rock... or just in a place outside of the United States where you're not quite sure what the big deal is but you've heard of the Super Bowl before, but you're not quite sure why they use Roman numerals even though the majority of Americans actually have to Google what Super Bowl number it is this year because you know... Roman numerals.. and you know.. Americans). THERE ARE A TON OF TRAILERS TO RECAEP. Moonknight! DC 2022 Recap! Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness! That Jurassic World sequel where they got Laura Dean and Sam Neal back in addition to Chris Pratt who's in literally everything right now! Not to be outdone by things that have been done before but are getting a second (and third probably) chance, Cyberpunk 2077 is back and it's finally running on next-gen consoles! The boys sample the Cyberpunk Demo (the first 5 hours are free right now) and let you all know their thoughts, especially how it compares to the awful and broken mess that CD Projekt Red rolled out in December of 2020. Lastly, (but certainly not least-ly... or Eaglely...) Jake and Ryan have started watching HBO's Peacemaker, and what a show. Really... going into this not having any expectations and being pleasantly surprised by how GOOD it actually is... you can't beat that. You can't even SEE that. Peacemaker (at least the first three episodes) is a big recommend from the boys. Check it out! The first few episodes of The Book of Boba Fett are very "Disney". DC has another potential hit with HBO's Peacemaker. Yellowjackets on Showtime is creepy, weird, dark, and a hell of a lot of fun. Plus, a review of Marvel's The Eternals, the trailer for Moon Knight, and surprisingly a couple of late 80s/early 90s action movies do not hold up. And please head over to ADAMSNERDS.com for more.
