Rust Cohle (True Detective), Rio (Good Girls), Chuck Bass (Gossip Girl), Ezra (Pretty Little Liars), Joe (You), Edward Cullen (Twilight), Mister Big (Sex&TheCity), Walter White (Breaking Bad), Christian Grey (50 shades of grey)... difficile de nier qu'ils sont partout. This monster can be a prejudice, fear, insecurity, trauma and so on. We believe that romance novels are as much about one's personal journey as they are about finding love. After all, love makes us vulnerable and forces us to bare our monsters to another.

Instinct maternel, bonnes mères et mauvaises mères, travailler ou aimer ses enfants… Aujourd’hui, le fait d’être mère semble encore s’analyser à l’aune de modèles extrêmement restreints. On this podcast, we'll be showcasing the mouthwatering Tasting Menus from leading cultural and music PR agency WildKat, as well as acclaimed composer, sound artist and performer Drum & Lace whose latest EP "Further" was released last week. WildKat Tasting Menus WildKat's Press Assistant Robert Shone writes: "It is well known that a careful combination of sound and taste can elevate the sensory experience of both parties. Back in 1997, Heston Blumenthal enhanced his fish dish 'Sounds of the Sea' through utilising an iPod of sea soundscapes to create 'sonic seasoning'. We here at WildKat are doing the reverse. Throughout the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, WildKat will be enhancing many virtual classical music experiences with a carefully paired item of food or drink. Every week, our team will create a brand new Menu of 14 livestreams, specially paired with 14 recipes. Each week, a member of the WildKat team will also provide a recommendation of a TV show, book, or a piece of art to help stimulate and inspire during this trying time." To sample these Tasting Menus, please visit wildkatpr.com/news or WildKat PR on socials. Drum & Lace Drum & Lace (also known as Sofia Hultquist) is an Italian-born composer, sound artist and performer that writes and creates music for film and media. Among her impressive credits include fashion documentary "The First Monday in May" (dir Andrew Rossi), the AppleTV+ Original Series "Dickinson" (created by Alena Smith) and season 3 of NBC “Good Girls” (created by Jenna Bans & Bill Krebs). Other notable collaborations include leading brands such as NARS, Always, Tanya Taylor, Girls Who Code, Squarespace, as well as theatre production company Saudade Theatre and contemporary dance company Heidi Duckler Dance. Drum & Lace's performance work often includes sound installation and spatial audio elements, at events such as Moogfest and National Sawdust. Her latest EP "Further" was originally commissioned as a new work for Heidi Duckler Dance that features field recordings, samples from Yellowstone National Park's online archive, electronics and strings performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra. Inspired by Emily Dickinson's poem "Further in Summer than the Birds," an ode to nature, the EP depicts the journey of a bird. I talked to Drum & Lace last week from her home studio in Los Angeles about the creative inspiration, research and compositional processes behind the release, as well as the broader ideas and issues arising from the EP. Most notably, this includes the importance of protecting, listening to and caring for nature, actions that many people having been reflecting on over these last few months. Many thanks to Hannah Goldshlack-Wolf for bringing this fascinating and thought-provoking listen to my attention and arranging this discussion, and to Drum & Lace for taking the time to talk especially for this podcast. Today on The Neil Haley, The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Manny Montana of NBC's Good Girls. Season three will kick off not long after the events that ended season two. When we last saw Beth, she had just shot Rio as he was beating up Agent Turner. Now that he's out of the picture, she's ready to run the game and stay in control. The women each take on seemingly innocent jobs – Beth in a stationary store, Ruby in a nail salon and Annie as a valet – each with a special purpose to aid them in their new criminal enterprise. What happens as they expand their operation will have a ripple effect with their families. Meanwhile, Stan's taken a job in security at a strip club to help keep a roof over his family and provide for them. Dean is working sales at a spa company where he'll thrive but also encounter his own level of harassment and preferential treatment. From executive producer Jenna Bans (“Grey's Anatomy,” “Scandal”) comes the third season of this comedy-infused drama that mixes a little “Thelma & Louise” with a bit of “Breaking Bad.” The cast includes Christina Hendricks, Retta, Mae Whitman, Reno Wilson, Manny Montana, Lidya Jewett, Isaiah Stannard and Matthew Lillard.
