I'm super excited to chat more with you about something near and dear to my heart – why diets often leave us feeling defeated, and the solution for achieving weight loss once and for all. You've tried diet after diet, only to end up right back where you started, feeling frustrated and discouraged. Sound familiar? Well, you're not alone. But fear not, because I'm going to spill the beans on why this happens and how we can break free from that cycle. Most diets crash and burn because they miss the mark on what's really causing our struggles – things like wonky hunger hormones and mindset roadblocks. That's exactly why we address those root issues in the Yummy Mummy Experience (YMX).This program isn't just about shedding pounds; it's about reclaiming your power, embracing self-love, and enjoying the journey to a healthier you. We're talking personalized plans that actually make you excited to hop out of bed in the morning – yes, seriously!I know what you might be thinking – "But Laura, what about the time commitment? What about the cost? And how on earth do I get my partner on board?" I've got answers for all of that, too! Trust me: investing in yourself is the best decision you'll ever make. But don't just take my word for it – I've got some incredible success stories from real Yummy Mummies who've transformed their lives with this program. These testimonials give me all the warm fuzzies because I think about how much these women have overcome to be able to lose weight for the last time. And you can, too.APRIL IS HERE and that means the next round of Yummy Mummy is kicking off SOON, so be sure to get your booty over to learn more about the April 2024 YMX cohort! Hosted on Acast. After encouraging Sarah to avoid playing the lottery, Susie became a hypocrite by going all in on the Powerball frenzy sweeping the nation. But instead of admitting her lack of morality, Susie persuades Sarah to join the fun. And we make big plans for our winnings. Sarah reveals why until fairly recently, people were grinding up mummies and using them to make artwork and some people even ate them because of a misinterpretation of an ancient text. Oops! We discuss why TikTok trends are often based on faulty science, misrepresentations of studies, and plain old lies. We hear the origins of Rock, Paper, Scissors, and it was surprisingly not born out of boredom. Sarah watched the Golden Bachelor, and despite her ten seasons of reality tv experience, she is outraged that the show is somewhat staged and highly produced. Will her new favorite widower find love? Not if producers keep setting unreachable romantic standards, she says! We discuss the bedbugs in Paris and why it's not helping their hygiene reputation. Plus, Susie is mad that Sarah keeps secrets from her about her social life.Join our Candy Club, shop our merch, sign-up for our free newsletter, & more by visiting The Brain Candy Podcast website: https://www.thebraincandypodcast.comConnect with us on social media:BCP Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastSusie's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterSarah's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBCP Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/braincandypodSusie's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/susie_meisterSarah's Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ImSarahRiceSponsors:Get 5 free AG1 Travel Packs and a FREE 1 year supply of Vitamin D with your first purchase at https://drinkag1.com/braincandyGet 20% OFF @honeylove by going to https://www.honeylove.com/braincandy! #honeylovepodFind your forever pieces @jennikayne and get 15% off with promo code BRAINCANDY at https://www.jennikayne.com/braincandy! #jennikaynepartnerGet $20 off your purchase of a Hatch Restore 2 and free shipping at https://www.hatch.co/braincandyMore podcasts at WAVE: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/artist/wave-podcast-network/1437831426See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Are you in charge of your life and your schedule? Or are you just letting life happen to you?Because I have a bit of a harsh truth for you Yum Mums…A lot of people won't lose weight for the last time because they're just not willing to make it their priority.
