In the age of AI innovation, it's crucial to recognize the unique role of humans in customer service. While AI can automate certain tasks, humans bring irreplaceable qualities to the table. Come along with Justin Robbins as we use data to unpack the value of the human experience in an AI focused market. [7:13- 8:14] AI's biggest role and impact is how it enables us to exponentially scale, so we can learn from and leverage data. AI helps improve our customer experience and interaction to make the experience better for the customer. [14:28- 15:43] There will be a number of things to keep AI in check, but we can't just set it and forget it. AI needs to be watched and used properly to keep us all in check economically and morally. [17:03- 18:48] One of the key principles is being clear on what your desired outcome is and how you will know it when you see it. First, where are you trying to go? Second, understand the role that you are wanting automation or people to fill. Third, you need to be okay to test, integrate and fail. [21:58- 24:07] There's going to be an increasing in acceptance of AI in a number of applications. The line will constantly be walked in what is too much AI involvement and how much human interaction there is. It will need to be an active effort to include the human touch and maintain it in your strategy. Overall, be reasonable with yourself and the process of strategically integrating AI into your business. No one person is going to figure this out on their own and no one person should have to figure it out on their own. As always, thanks for tuning in! Today I met with the Chief Evangelist at CX Effect, Justin Robbins, and we discussed whether the professionals in CX should focus on behavior as opposed to numbers. Quality assurance in the context of contact centers are often the score cards or mechanisms we put in place to understand how our teams are doing to keep their promises, or if we're complying to processes put in place by the company. Are we doing the right things to drive the right outcomes? What Justin does 1:18Scoreless QA 4:00Predictive vs reflective metrics 7:12Scale metrics vs indicator metrics 12:19Getting this into play 14:07What is holding businesses back from investing in CX 16:48“Think about the idea of customer experience. If I get 100% on my QA interaction with the customer I just had, that 100% is meaningless when I answer the phone or I answer the chat for that next customer. The game resets. There's no winner or loser in customer experience, right? The whole point is to keep business going.” 7:56 https://www.linkedin.com/in/justinmrobbins/cxeffect.com
Often, the biggest threat companies face isn't their competitors, it's complacency. While you spend time ruminating on the next best thing in customer experience, other companies act to actually improve theirs. After a year of pause, now's the time for action. We're sitting down with Justin Robbins, Chief Evangelist of the CX Effect to learn the business risks of sticking to “good enough” customer experiences. Justin's talking through what happens when companies stay the same and don't invest in creating a better customer journey. Tune in to learn the trends leading the way in customer experience today and why it matters to foot the bill upfront, so you can make lasting improvements to your customer experience strategy. And for leaders who are ready to press start on a better customer experience, he's touching on where today's leaders are investing and how they're justifying those investments - whether to co-execs, shareholders or their company's board.

Justin Robbins goes deep with Isaak and Philip, digging into the day-to-day cattle industry and his custom "butcher box" business he started during 2020 in addition to talking about how his high school son has become elite and highly ranked in Iowa wrestling at a young age. He has been able to find a way to fuel the fire naturally present in his high schooler to be the best he can be, both in academics and athletics, and has discovered how to empower his son to make his own decisions and goals, all while trusting him to make the right ones, revealing wisdom such as "you fight the little battles along the way, so you don't have to fight the big ones." Not only this but Justin has been able to persevere through hardships of life and has found ways to keep growing and improve himself, in order to better serve his family and his passions in life.

December 1, 2020 — Last week, retired sheriff Tom Allman announced on Facebook that he would start serving as a peace officer in Humboldt County, where he was born and raised. The Humboldt County sheriff, William Honsal, wrote in his own statement that Allman would end a nearly decade-long vacancy in the Lost Coast Resident Deputy position, which includes the Shelter Cove, Whitethorn and Mattole Valley communities. Honsal added that Allman will spend about four days a week on the Lost Coast, with deputies from the Garberville substation providing coverage on the days that he is not assigned. The resident deputy position is funded through the county’s Measure Z public safety sales tax. Allman was sworn in today at 11am at the fire station in Shelter Cove. Because of the pandemic, the public was not invited to participate in person. The event was livestreamed on the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Facebook page. Lauren Schmitt, of KMUD news, interviewed Justin Robbins, the general manager of Shelter Cove’s resort improvement district number one about his thoughts on the new resident deputy.

The thought-provoking and intriguing new documentary IN BRIGHT AXIOM introduces us into the world of the House of Latitude. A place where absolute discretion is demanded in exchange for entry into a mysterious social experiment in the form of an elaborate immersive experience. Drawing a community of curiosity seekers, this secret society becomes a way of life for some, putting increasing pressure on the organizers to maintain this sophisticated and fantastical parallel world. From the minds who inspired AMC's upcoming series Dispatches From Elsewhere, IN BRIGHT AXIOM weaves an intriguing cautionary tale about the unforeseen consequences of embracing the unknown. Followers of Meow Wolf, Sleep No More, Ingress and other immersive & augmented reality entertainment should take note. IN BRIGHT AXIOM also features never-before-seen discourse from the mesmerizing hip-hop polymath, RAMMELLZEE and original music by Justin Robbins, with additional songs from Isan, Tickles, and ü-Ziq. Director Spencer McCall has spent the last ten years orchestrating socio-reengineering and public hoax-prank performance art pieces. An avid fan of the Yes Men, McCall began by participating in Improv Everywhere inspired events, “plant” based roles in The Go Game, and location-based performances with Atmos-theater. In 2009, he became a co-creator of the Jejune Institute; a citywide alternate reality game in San Francisco that lasted three years and “inducted” over 10,000 unknowing participants. McCall took his experience working with Jejune and turned it into an award-winning documentary The Institute. The Institute is currently being remade into a series on a major television network. McCall also contributed to follow-up experience The Latitude Society; a faux secret society with an underground experiential labyrinth beneath San Francisco. Director Spencer McCall and House of Latitude founder and In Bright Axiom subject, Jeff Hull, join us for a fascinating conversation on the ebb and flow, as well as, the inherent contradiction that facilitated the unraveling of this remarkable enterprise. Special Guest: Justin Robbins, Co-Founder at Fit2Communicate A blanket of negativity seems to exist over the education sector right now. We hear it all of the time. Teachers are leaving the profession in their droves. The number of those leaving exceeds those joining. Of those joining at least a third of them will have left within three years. And for those poor souls left in education there is not enough money nor time to do what is required. So should such a purposeful industry be resigned to its fate? Is teacher disengagement the symptom or the cause? Join us for a discussion with Justin Robbins, co-founder of Fit2Communicate, and leader of the Engage For Success Education workstream, to hear how this group plans to stop teacher disengagement. Justin Robbins is a 20 year communication professional, and a Fellow of the Institute of Internal Communication. In 2014, along with Karen Dempster, he founded Fit2Communicate to raise the standard of communication in all schools by harnessing the power of communication between the school, students, parents and local communities. Their unique approach to school communication is described in their first book for school leaders called 'How to Build Communication Success in Your School' which was published in March 2017.
