There's a prevailing message in society today that it's not that bad and it's all going to be ok. It's not really that big of a deal and you can wait to make spiritual choices. Mark 16:15, What profits a man if he gains the whole world, but loses his soul. We are suffering a soul problem. That was part of the pain Jesus faced in Gethsemane, bearing the weight of the sin of 100 billion human souls. Jesus' coming death at the cross was not merely an earthly experience, but would create echoes in eternity. Luke 16:19-31 We meet the Rich man and Lazerus, who give a glimpse into the two places of eternity. We will be looking at the truths about "The Gates of Heaven and Hell."

This week in Pastor Austin's sermon "Empathy" he focused on John 11, the story of Lazarus death. Jesus lived in fallen, cracked, broken world where disease, death, tragedy, and heartache were just a part of life. In his humanity, your Savior feels disturbing human emotions deep in his soul. He feels the weight of the grief his friends feel, even as he knows he can do something about it.
Part 2! In this episode, I want to talk about how clothing represents our “access”. God has an inheritance that He wants us to enter into, but we must be willing to “change our clothes” in order to gain access to it! It's time to remove the grave clothes, Lazerus.

What Do You See In The Fire? Sounds like a strange title but it has a much deeper meaning. Many people are hurting all around us everyday. I guess you could say everyone has their own fires to be put out. Firemen are trained to rescue lives but what about us? Did God really give us the ability to see something others missed? How can the Spirit of God use you to help someone going through the fire? Are we so busy battling our own blazes in life that we just can't see someone else needs help? These are just a few things we talk about in today's podcast. I pray you will tune in and be blessed. Remember through it all God is with us in the fire.
