Podcast guest 330 are Ray and Kyra Feurstein. During the podcast we spoke with beings on the other side of the veil with the O.W.E.L. The (O.W.E.L.) Other Worlds Energy Lab incorporates many new and old technologies to be able detect, analyze and try and determine where these Other Worldly energies such as the Paranormal/Supernatural, Dimensional, intra and inter dimensional come from and who is behind these energies. A few of the technologies incorporated within the LAB are; radio telemetry, atmospheric (atmospheric aircraft sensor arrays), EMI/EMP/RFI detector arrays, High gain energy waveguide sensor arrays (designed and built by OWEL). They also have incorporated enhanced language translators and transcription sensors which are able to pick up and translate and transcribe all audible and inaudible voices. This coupled with other technologies help to make this Lab communicate in a more accurate, interactive and efficient manner than other technologies currently in use to date. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/jeffrey-s-reynolds/support

Candra Gerorge is a mother and business owner. In this episode she tells her family's incredibly personal story about how, despite all of her efforts to protect her 9 year old son from accessing inappropriate information online...he was able to access pornography. She tells her story in hopes of educating other parents on not just the important of device monitoring but also the importance of having open early conversations with your child about what they are viewing. Her story will tug at your heartstrings as a parent, but also give you hope that even in the midst of hard conversations beautiful relationships can be formed and strengthened. Candra George, founder of The OWEL , has been working in the photography industry since 2007 and her work has been featured in multiple media outlets and publications worldwide. The OWEL Foundation is a 501C3 aimed at helping those girls with foster care background and/or in danger of aging out of the system. Currently, they are in partnership with Jame's Samaritan Louisiana and The Northlake Pregnancy Crisis Center. Together they are "adopting" those girls who are pregnant, providing them with supplies and support services, all aimed at keeping their babies out of the foster care system. They will have served approximately 48 girls in a year. When Candra isn't working, she spends her days in south Louisiana, with her husband Wes, 9-year-old son, Wesley Brooks, and dogs Magnolia and Daisy. Most days she's able to outsmart the latter three. https://www.theowelproject.com https://www.knbcommunications.com --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kristi-bush/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kristi-bush/support

Composing ambient alternative music is something Jay can accomplish without any hesitation. Much hasn't changed since OWEL has released their most recent album, 'Paris', independently. During these unfortunate times, he is continuing to write while collaborating with everyone in OWEL to cover songs from Boyz ll Men and possibly more from other artists. Recently, they also had one of their older songs, "Pale Soft Light", feature in a trailer for the upcoming season of the Showtime series, Penny Dreadful.

In the ancient times of the year 2019, thousands of new albums were released. How can one possibly keep up? What should you listen to? What should you avoid? Luckily, we've got you covered. With our tenacious willpower and iron resolve, we listened to hundreds of albums and have curated the best and the worst for your consideration. Among the many we discuss are albums by 100 gecs, Devin Townsend, CHON, Rammstein, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Pedro the Lion, Billie Eilish, Jacob Collier, Bring Me the Horizon, OWEL, Thank You Scientist, Periphery, Nova Charisma, Snarky Puppy, The Jon Hill Project, Carly Rae Jepson, and many more. We also talk about the current state of "prog" and our opinions on how the genre has evolved and where it should go in the future.
On Episode 8 of the Night School series, Cody and Mike return with a brand new Show & Tell on one of their favorite alternative bands, New Jersey based OWEL. The guys react to getting a chance to sit down and talk with members of the band after the show. They deal with the embarrassment of pronouncing OWEL's name wrong this entire time. Cody loses his vinyl in the worst possible way. They discuss the craziest story involving a dropped guitar pick. Probably the most hilarious Show & Tell in our podcast's history thus far. On the second half of this episode, Cody and Mike drop a brand new segment titled "Pop Quiz", where the guys trade off giving a first reaction to songs each guy recommends that the other person has never heard before. This section includes songs from Michael Kiwanuka, Dave B, Frank Ocean, 99 Neighbors, TOBi, and Wynne featuring J.I.D. Tune in for their reactions and additional song recommendations! Time Stamps: OWEL Show & Tell - (0:00 - 39:34) Pop Quiz & Recommendations - (39:35 - end)

To start the episode, Billie Eilish's "WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?" gets some quality airtime, a uniquely creative release from the rising pop star. Next, the guys dive into one of the best albums of the year that you probably haven't heard yet, OWEL's alternative masterpiece titled "Paris". Third, the guys discuss the debut release from Crafter titled "Lasting Efforts", a hardcore group out of Western Massachusetts who are on the rise. And finally, the guys have a polarizing and controversial discussion surrounding Quelle Chris' new politically ground-breaking release titled "Guns". Guest Bio: This week week we have a very special episode with Dr. Eben Alexander. Dr. Eben Alexander spent over 25 years as an academic neurosurgeon, including 15 years at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital, the Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. Over those years he personally dealt with hundreds of patients suffering from severe alterations in their level of consciousness. Many of those patients were rendered comatose by trauma, brain tumors, ruptured aneurysms, infections, or stroke. He thought he had a very good idea of how the brain generates consciousness, mind and spirit. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Alexander received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in 1980. He taught neurosurgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston for fifteen years, and has performed over 4,000 neurosurgical operations. During his academic career he authored or co-authored over 150 chapters and papers in peer reviewed journals, authored or edited five books on radiosurgery and neurosurgery, and made over 230 presentations at conferences and medical centers around the world. Since Proof of Heaven was released in 2012, he has been a guest on The Dr. Oz Show, Super Soul Sunday with Oprah Winfrey, ABC-TV’s 20-20 and Good Morning America, FOX-TV’s FOX & Friends, and his story has been featured on the Discovery Channel and the Biography Channel. He has been interviewed for over 400 national and international radio and internet programs and podcasts. His books are available in over 40 countries worldwide, and have been translated into over 30 languages. Since his NDE, Dr. Alexander has dedicated himself to sharing information about near-death experiences and other spiritually-transformative experiences, and what they teach us about consciousness and the nature of reality. He continues to promote further research on the unifying elements of science and spirituality, and together with Karen Newell, regularly teaches others ways to tap into our greater mind and the power of the heart to facilitate enhancement of healing, relationships, creativity, guidance, and more. This weeks I chat with an incredible human being named, Cassie Wilson! Cassie is an accessibility activist and musical entrepreneur who runs the online music reviewing site, Sick Snaps, as well as the nonprofit, Half Access. We chat about music, Taco Bell, being from Oregon and the greater purpose of Cassie's work in the scene today. Half Access is a program that gives disabled music fans a voice in accessibility issues and ableism at concert venues through a database of music venues and its accessibility needs and issues, while also developing ways to help venues improve their practices. Having recently turned 19 (HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!), she is already making a major name for herself as the recipient of a $10,000 grant from Hopeless Records and Sub City. She was flown to Cleveland to receive the award in front of thousands of people and musicians she admires at the Alternative Press Music Awards! EPISODE NOTES (for full links, visit CraigBidiman.com/edupunxpod): - A lot of bands get hyped in this episode, check out tunes from Grizzly, Speak Low If You Speak Love, From Indian Lakes, and Owel. - You can learn more about Cassie's nonprofit, Half Access, by visiting HalfAccess.org - make sure to check out the venue database and reach out so that you can help her chronicle music venue accessibility across the country and WORLD! - Dan Campbell from The Wonder Years presented Cassie with her APMA award - you can check out the video and article HERE! You can also learn more about the Hopeless Records/Subcity grant she won! - Sick Snaps, Cassie's first project, featured my first single back in May, and it was a wonderful way to connect with my home audience in the Pacific Northwest! Be sure to check out more of Sick Snaps' work and all of the great tunes they feature. - Cassie's favorite record labels today are Hopeless Records and Triple Crown Records - both are putting nothing but incredible bands! - If you haven't heard the new album from The Maine, Cassie's favorite band of all time, you should get on that! I just did and I really enjoyed it. - But currently Cassie is all about A Will Away, Tigers Jaw, and Paramore. - In fact, Cassie's top album this year so far is “After Laughter,” by Paramore. MUSIC NOTES: - This week's music sponsor is Spartan Records - you can hear more tunes from their bands at SpartanRecords.com! - The intro/outro/break song is "Atom Smasher," from the new Young Fox album, "Sky Beats Gold." I love the album - have the orange/brown/white tri-color with black haze vinyl pressing. It's gorgeous. - Our featured track is "Monsters Among Men," from the new American Opera album, "Small Victories." It's a fabulous new wave Americana record with ridiculous artwork and some really cool stories! Check out the full album now! - As an added bonus, click here to check out an in-depth interview with John from American Opera. ADVERTISING NOTES: - This week's HYPE of the week goes out to one of Cassie's projects, Sick Snaps!
