Paul Austin isn't here to evangelize psychedelics. He's here to demystify them.As the founder and CEO of Third Wave, Paul has spent a decade educating the public on responsible psychedelic use—from microdosing protocols to full-dose journeys. In this episode, he shares how psychedelics are being used not just to treat mental health conditions, but to enhance leadership, decision-making, and personal clarity. We explore the science of neuroplasticity, the legal gray zones, and the risks of skipping the prep work. For high-performers feeling stuck or burnt out, Paul outlines a roadmap grounded in safety, structure, and serious self-inquiry. Whether you're curious, skeptical, or somewhere in between, this conversation is a guide—not a push—for what transformation can look like when approached with respect.Key Highlights of Our Interview:Why He Started Third Wave—and Why His Dad Tried It Too“My dad once told me he hadn't been that disappointed since his brother died. Years later, I guided him through his first psilocybin journey.”From Microdosing to Life Design“Microdosing isn't about escape—it's about reprogramming. You still have to show up and do the hard stuff.”Psychedelics as a Skill, Not a Fix“Just like cooking or martial arts, this is a practice. You get better with time, feedback, and intention.”When Leaders Feel Stuck, This Is the Pattern Breaker“For many execs I work with, it's not about trauma—it's about lost clarity, emotional fog, or a 360 review that hit too close to home.”Start Low, Go Slow: Why That Advice Matters More Than Ever“You can always take more—you can't take less. Begin with microdosing. Build awareness before diving deep.”The Snow Globe and the Ski Slope: Two Metaphors That Explain It All“Think of psychedelics as shaking up the snow globe. Or fresh powder on a slope—you're no longer stuck in someone else's ruts.”Legal Doesn't Mean Safe. Illegal Doesn't Mean Dangerous.“Psychedelics became illegal for political—not medical—reasons. But that doesn't mean you can skip the legal risks.”Where It's Legal—And What to Do If It's Not“Colorado. Oregon. The Netherlands. Costa Rica. Go where it's legal. Work with a guide. Respect the law.”The Five Elements of a Safe Psychedelic Journey“Assessment. Preparation. Facilitation. Integration. Microdosing. Miss one, and the whole thing can derail.”Why No One Should Be Talked Into It“Don't do it for your friend, your spouse, or your coach. You have to want this for you.”_____________________Connect with us:Host: Vince Chan | Guests: Paul Austin --Chief Change Officer--Change Ambitiously. One of the world's most precious architectural gems rests on the banks of the Fox River in northern Illinois. Maybe you've seen the Edith Farnsworth House in Plano: It's a mid-century glass and steel marvel designed and constructed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The Under Rocks team got a chance to visit and learn more about the woman who commissioned her glass get-away in the woods, Edith Farnsworth.
I met Sal through an organization called Dancing Disciples, that gives free hip hop class on Fridays! Sal killed it in the cypher that night, and it's not surprising since he's been freestyle dancing since he was a kid, performing and competing with it too! It wasn't until a couple years ago, though, that he decided he wanted to learn how to pick up choreography as well. He discovered Athletic Garage and started going to hip hop classes there as well as taking private lessons. He's also been challenged by his teachers to make up his own choreography and figure out the counts too! Class was frustrating for him at first, not being able to remember the moves, but now Sal knows how to groove through it and just keep coming back to improve. Sal is taking class almost everyday, at other studios too like Snowglobe, and he has a performance at Disney California Adventure coming up this summer! Learn all about how he got into that and more by checking out this episode. :)Follow our dance journeys on Instagram: @phatspeedo_@DanceJourneyPodcast@TracyinLA

Enjoy the second half of my conversation with Boston blues artist Danielle Miraglia! Remember how you "followed" artists in decades past? You'll enjoy the nostalgia we touch on in this episode. Picking up on "Snow Globe," the opening song from Danielle's debut record Nothing Romantic, we talk about why it remains such a powerful track all these years later. What's your snow globe in 2025?We also brush up on Danielle's direct & scathing 2024 single "The Ones Who Made Him," which in no uncertain terms calls out the various voices and media outlets that gave life and fuel to a certain public figure. She also paints a grim future for a culture of attention-seekers:"He thrives on your outrage, and you always take the bait"Download this song wherever you listen to music! While Danielle is known for her unique picking style, stomp-box rhythm and vocals, you might be surprised to learn about her "alternate" instrument!Be sure to check out the following sites to keep current on all things Danielle Miraglia:www.daniellem.comwww.patreon.com/daniellem - Subscribe for as little as $1/month & receive access to live performances, mini guitar lessons, unreleased tracks, the Nothing Romantic Revisited series & more!Follow Danielle Miraglia on the socials (dmiraglia on IG)

Bryan Kohberger is a criminology graduate student who gained national attention due to his alleged involvement in a high-profile criminal case. He is on trial for the murders of four University of Idaho students: Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin. These students were found stabbed to death in an off-campus house in Moscow, Idaho, in November 2022.The case attracted significant media coverage due to its brutal nature and the initial lack of leads. Kohberger was arrested in late December 2022 in Pennsylvania, far from the crime scene. Evidence linking him to the crime includes DNA found at the scene, cell phone records, and surveillance footage showing a vehicle similar to Kohberger's near the victims' residence around the time of the murders.Kohberger's background in criminology and his reported behavior and interests in criminal psychology added a layer of intrigue and speculation to the case. His trial is being closely watched as the prosecution and defense present their arguments and evidence. Now as both sides continue to lob allegations at each other about impropriety, another hearing has been delayed.(commercial at 7:37)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Cellphone expert testifies missing data benefits University of Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger (nbcnews.com)source:Kohberger Lawyers Say Getting Evidence 'Like We Are Living In a Snow Globe' - Newsweek

Podcast Overview: Will & Dombreksy discuss the goal of an artist, investing in your career & the myth of work-life balance.Who Is Dombresky: Although he hails from the south of France, Dombresky's penchant for invigorating four- on-the-floor beats is pure house bliss. The DJ and producer burst onto the scene in 2016 when he arrived in Miami as Quentin Dombres, a then-unknown talent with an impressive roster of funky, feel-good tracks. Today he has become inextricably linked with industry heavyweights including Blondish, Armand van Helden, Diplo, Claptone, and MK, all of whom supported Dombresky's early career endeavors as collaborators. With jazz-tinged, hypnotic songs like “Soul Sacrifice” earning over 50 million streams and counting, and becoming one of Beatport's top selling artists, it's clear that Dombresky has set himself apart from the rest. Just a few years after arriving in the States and starting his career from scratch, Dombresky has hit career milestones that most DJs only dream of, playing Lollapalooza, headlining Snowglobe and Countdown NYE, selling out famous venues including the Shrine Auditorium and the Hollywood Palladium, and growing a loyal fanbase that nets him millions of streams per month. Now, Dombresky has gone global, playing sold-out venues across the country, to the hottest clubs of Ibiza and Dubai, and he shows no signs of slowing down. In 2023 he is slated to return to Coachella and continues to broadcast his passion project, Process Radio, which won him an Electronic Dance Music Award for best radio show. He isn't just stopping there. Expanding the Process name, Dombresky is thrilled to launch Process Records, which will allow him to take ownership of his masters and mentor up- and-coming talents.Join for updates: https://laylo.com/willclarke⏲ Follow Will Clarke ⏱https://djwillclarke.com/https://open.spotify.com/artist/1OmOdgwIzub8DYPxQYbbbi?si=hEx8GCJAR3mhhhWd_iSuewhttps://www.instagram.com/djwillclarkehttps://www.facebook.com/willclarkedjhttps://twitter.com/djwillclarkehttps://www.tiktok.com/@djwillclarke Hosted on Acast. Angela's got a treasure trove of tips, secrets, and stories that are pure gold for anyone in the acting game, whether you're just starting out or you've been around the block a few times. Here's the lowdown on what we covered: What You Need to Know: Reading Instructions is Key: Angela talks about how something as simple as sending the wrong file type can throw a wrench in your audition. She's all about paying attention to the details. Make sure you know what they're asking for and nail it. Ace Your Online Auditions: With auditions going digital, Angela shares the scoop on making sure your setup is on point. Good internet, good lighting, and a space where you can do your thing without distractions are your best friends here. Bring Your Flavor to the Role: Angela's not looking for robots. She wants to see what you bring to the character. It's all about showing up with your take on the role and being ready to collaborate to make something awesome. Self-Care for the Win: One of the big themes Angela hits on is looking after yourself. Acting's a marathon, not a sprint, and giving yourself permission to take breaks and live life outside the acting bubble is crucial. Top Quotes from the episode: "Making me work harder to fix your audition tape? Yeah, that's gonna make me think twice about calling you back." "Don't just show up expecting to be directed. Bring your own magic to the role. That's what gets noticed." "Worried about your online audition setup? Just do your best to keep things simple and stress-free. It's about what you do, not where you do it." "The industry isn't going anywhere. Taking a break for a bit of self-care or to just breathe is totally fine. You do you."
