On this episode Rebecca and I talk about common ghost hunting techniques and equipment, and less common practices we've seen, and whether or not they're valid or not. We also talk about portals and what they might be, and how they might be created, and the possibilities of what they are and how they act. Lastly, we talk about how the paranormal and spirituality can go too far, blurring the line of reality, and the possible consequences when letting our superstitions go too far, opening ourselves to psychic attack, losing balance, and possibly having mental, emotional, or spiritual health issues if we aren't' careful. At the end of the day all this stuff is fun and fascinating, but it's also a realm we must tread carefully in. So, we talk about how we can find clarity and balance when dealing with the paranormal as an interest, as well as anything spiritual or on another level of existence, so that we stay tethered to reality and don't go too far or invite something dark into our lives inadvertently. Thanks so much for allowing us into your lives! What is the source? I speak about my experiences, and my understandings of it based on my own history and dealings with the paranormal. I also offer ways to protect yourself and others from these types of energies that could be potentially harmful.In the end, You are a powerful creator. You create the reality you are living in now. If you don't like something in your life, understand the source then heal it.  Healings means to bring together. Then, your circumstances have to change to match. That's why they say be the change. Because if you change from within, then the world changes without. That's how powerful you are.So if you give fear to fearful situations then you are feeding that situation (or entity in some cases) for it to come back, repeat. Ronald Murphy has been interested in the paranormal from a very young age in the Chestnut Ridge of Western  Pennsylvania. After studying literature at the University of Pittsburgh, he was able to begin to discern the  archetype behind some of the greatest cryptid mysteries. After connecting the dots, he was able to  trace the development of the archaic Wildman through time and space. This multidisciplinary perspective is the  hallmark of research and the lens through he investigates. After graduate school at Indiana University  of Pennsylvania where he studied history, he was able to trace the Wildman in the marginalia of medieval  manuscripts and in sacred architecture. His first successful book was released on the subject of his own  paranormal research was entitled Unexplained World of the Chestnut Ridge: A Hike Through Western  Pennsylvania’s Goblin Universe and appeared on Coast to Coast AM and Dave Scott's Spaced Out Radio. He has  gone on to write on the subject of Bigfoot, werewolves, vampires, lake monsters, fairies, and witches. I have been out of training since 2001, prior to that I did 3 years of Internal Medicine residency. I work as a hospitalist now which is a doctor who just takes care of patients in the hosptial. Thoughout my career I have helped a great deal of people get better but I have also treated a lot of people in their end days. As doctors we try to make sure people are not suffering before they die. I have often wondered what happens after they and we die. Part of this project is to talk about what happens medically when we die and my experiences that I have had with people dying. Then I would like to bring those concepts together with my ghost hunting experiences. I have had strange things happen to me for as long as I can remember. I finally joined a ghost hunting team called Twisted Paranormal Society in 2012 and we have done some amazing investigations and have caught some great evidence. So what is the Haunted MD. As the Hauted MD, I am available to do lectures or talks about my experience as a physician and ghost hunter incorpatorating the medical views with the paranormal investigation side of things.
