SHANE ATKINSON MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST, PRODUCER, ENGINEER & BEAU WEST LEAD SINGER FOR AMERICAN PROGRESSIVE ROCK GROUP EVERSHIP EXCLUSIVE ZOOM SPECIAL EVENT ON INTERVIEWING THE LEGENDS! Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends I'm your host Ray Shasho. Hailed as “…the new face of American Prog” (ProgRadar) Nashville-based Rock band Evership blends Progressive rock composition with Classic Rock production to deliver a powerful and approachable 70s-style sound. Lauded by PROG magazine as “Glorious retro prog confections...” (#97), fans of Led Zeppelin, Kansas and Styx, to Genesis, Yes, King Crimson and Rush will have a familiar yet unique experience. Their solid and impactful eponymous release (2016) was one of the best received modern rock debuts according to many prominent prog outlets. The sophomore effort “Evership II” (2018), with the award-winning “The Serious Room”, catapulted them to the forefront of the prog rock world and to mainstage festivals such as RosFest and Progstock. The release “The Uncrowned King – Act I” (2021), an ambitious Rock Opera, made scores of ‘Best of 2021' lists, and Progressive rock ‘Song of the Year' with “Wait”. Their most recent release The Uncrowned King – Act 2 (TUK2) concludes the epic adaptation of Harold Bell Wright's 1910 allegory of Life and Truth. The album exudes Evership's immersive neo-prog style with a focus on songwriting and storytelling, but with no shortage of satisfying instrumental performances. The songs are more introspective as we go first-person with the twin princes and their personal journeys. The elevated vocals of Beau West bring the passion of the story to life. UK PROG-ROCK GROUP ‘GALAHAD' RELEASES ‘THE LAST GREAT ADVENTURER'

Interviewing the Legends: Rock Stars & Celebs

Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends I'm your host Ray Shasho Galahad was formed in 1985 just for fun playing roughly half covers (Genesis, Zeppelin, Rush, Sabbath, Focus, Marillion etc.) and half original material. Galahad then supported a few well known 'Progressive' bands that were coming up at the time. Then, after mixing it with the slightly 'bigger boys' Galahad decided to take it more seriously and began playing only original material resulting in the release of their first proper album in 1991, 'Nothing Is Written', which was purely self -financed and released independently but which went on to sell several thousand copies. The success of 'Nothing Is Written' was also helped by the fact that the band received substantial air play on BBC Radio One, especially on the Radio One Rock Show hosted by the late, great Tommy Vance. The band then landed themselves with deals in the UK, Japan, and Germany. 2021 saw the release of the re-mixed 1998 album 'Following Ghosts' on a limited double vinyl which is available in standard black, gold and a very limited red and orange splatter version. 'Galahad Electric Company' featuring Dean and Stu also released a second lock down album 'Soul Therapy' on CD. Galahad's long awaited ELEVENTH studio album 'The Last Great Adventurer' which features Mark Spencer on Bass guitar on a brand new Galahad album for the first time ever was released in October 2022. PLEASE WELCOME LEAD VOCALIST AND FOUNDING MEMBER OF PROG-ROCK GROUP GALAHAD STU NICHOLSON TO INTERVIEWING THE LEGENDS …   PURCHASE THE LATEST RLEASE BY G A L A H A D Entitled 'THE LAST GREAT ADVENTURER' at amazon.com https://galahad1.bandcamp.com Galahad is very pleased to announce the release of a brand-new studio album 'The Last Great Adventurer'. This latest opus, the band's eleventh studio album, has been several years in the making and most of the songs on the album pre-date the previous 'Seas of Change' album from 2018! Plus, due the constraints of the recent Covid emergency, the album was recorded at several locations over the last couple of years by the various band members and finally edited, mixed and mastered, as usual, by engineer/producer extraordinaire Karl Groom (Threshold/Dragonforce/Pendragon/Arena/Yes etc.). The main album consists of five tracks plus two bonus tracks on the CD including, at long last, a new version of 'Another Life Not Lived' originally written by the late and much missed Neil Pepper and Stu back in 2009. Musically the album has a crisp contemporary sound but also still includes plenty nods to the band's progressive heritage particularly on the closing title track, which is a very personal tribute to Stuart's father, Bob.   FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT STU NICHOLSON AND G A L A H A D VISIT www.galahadonline.com Official site www.facebook.com/room801 Facebook https://www.reverbnation.com/durtal Reverbnation www.youtube.com/galahadonline YouTube   GALAHAD DISCOGRAPHY Tapes Studio 95 Demo, Autumn 1995 One Knight at Mr Cs, August 1987 In a Moment of Madness, May 1989 Otherworldly Pleasures (Promo), January 1991 Other Crimes and Misdemeanours, January 1992 Suffering in Silence (Promo Only), February 1992 Galahad's Christmas Lecture, Spring 1993 In a Moment of Complete Madness (Polish Version), April 1993 Nothing Is Written (Polish Version), April 1993 Other Crimes & Misdemeanours II, August 1995 Not All There (Polish Version), September 1995 Sleepers (Polish Version), September 1995 Classic Rock Live (Polish Version), July 1996 Following Ghosts (Polish Version), Autumn 1998 LPs Battle Scars - Single Gatefold LP, April 2012 Beyond the Realms of Euphoria - Double Gatefold LP/EP, October 2012 Empires Never Last - Double Gatefold LP, October 2016 Seas of Change - standard single LP on black or turquoise vinyl and picture disc, January 2018 Sleepers - Double Gatefold LP on black or white vinyl, Spring 2020 Following Ghosts (Original album re-mixed) - Double Gatefold LP on black, gold or orange/red vinyl, Autumn 2021 Singles Dreaming From the Inside/The Opiate, July 1987 Rollercoaster (single sided flexi single), February 1992 Victory (Download only), June 2020 Studio CDs Nothing Is Written, June 1991 (Japan version April 1992, remastered 2007) In a Moment of Complete Madness, April 1993, remastered 2008) Sleepers, September 1995 (Japan version April 1995, 20th anniversary, remastered October 2015) Following Ghosts, June 1998 (remastered reissue 2007; expanded edition September 2020) Year Zero, September 2002 (10th anniversary expanded and remastered edition September 2012) Empires Never Last, Spring 2007 (deluxe edition, remastered January 2015) Battle Scars, April 2012 Beyond the Realms of Euphoria, October 2012 Quiet Storms, May 2017 Seas of Change, January 2018 The Last Great Adventurer, October 2022 Live CDs Classic Rock Live, April 1996, Japanese version September 1996 Resonance - Live in Poland 2006, 2006 Two Classic Rock Lives, 2008 Sleepless in Phoenixville - Live at Rosfest, October 2009 Whitchurch Live 92/93 - Live Archives Vol. 2, February 2012 Solidarity - Live in Konin, September 2015 EPs Voiceprint Radio Sessions EP, January 1994 Seize the Day, February 2014 Guardian Angel, June 2014 Mein Herz brennt, October 2014 (single) 30, July 2015 Compilation CDs Decade (Germany only), March 1997 Other Crimes and Misdemeanours II, May 1997 Other Crimes and Misdemeanours III, September 2001 Other Crimes and Misdemeanours, 2008 Other Crimes & Misdemeanours II & III, 2009 When Worlds Collide, Winter 2015 Downloads/Streams Empires Never Last, Spring 2007 Galahad's Christmas Lecture,Spring 2012 Battle Scars, April 2012 Beyond the Realms of Euphoria, October 2012 Seize the Day EP,February 2014 Guardian Angel EP,Summer 2014 Mein Herz brennt EP,Autumn 2014 Empires Never Last - The Deluxe edition, January 2015 Empires: A Curious Companion, January 2015 Seas of Change, January 2018 Following Ghosts - Expanded Edition, September 2020 Resonance - Live in Poland 2006, December 2020 Spin-off projects Not All There CD (Galahad Acoustic Quintet) January 1995 De-Constructing Ghosts CD (Galahad Electric Company) August 1999 (Re-mix album) Open Water EP Download/stream (Galahad Electric Company) September 2020 When The Battle Is Over CD/Download/stream (Galahad Electric Company) October 2020 Soul Therapy CD/Download/stream (Galahad Electric Company) 20th October 2021 DVDs Resonance – Live in Poland, 2006 Whitchurch 92/93 - Live Archives Vol. 2, February 2012 (Digipack) Solidarity - Live in Konin, September 2015 (Digipack)       Support us!

Frankly, I'm sick of talking about Covid. It has been an incredibly disrupting force to everyone's life, including festival organizers.  They love the music and the people they promote and they want to get back to work. One music festival has been missing from Sarasota for the past two years --but no more. With renewed energy and enthusiasm one of the best festivals in the entire United States is coming back on April 15 and you definitely don't want to miss it. Today I am very pleased to have Nick Katana, vice president of the Rights of Spring Festival better known as https://rosfest.org (ROSFEST). As Nick shares, https://youtu.be/VGismTdED-A (ROSFEST) is one of North America's longest-running and most renowned art-rock music festivals. During its 16-year tenure, ROSFEST featured over 160 bands from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJu9x847XiA (around the world).  Returning after 2 long years without live music, we couldn't be happier to head into 2022 with a new Board of Directors, a fresh vision, and most importantly, three days of groundbreaking, mind-melting live shows to remind us why https://www.instagram.com/rosfest/ (ROSFEST rocks!) In this episode, you'll learn … How ROSFEST started. The band lineup with iconic artists you see and hear The dates and incredible venue where it all happens. The after-show party. … and much, much more! As always, I'm so grateful you joined us today and it is my hope that you will listen, learn and connect!
