Steven Davidson drags Mike into an alternative dimension of the Capozzola mind where things worked out very differently. Amongst other adventures, we hear about Mike's successful crossbow stall at Buckingham Palace, his early years living at Neverland ranch, working with a young David Bowie at the United Nations and why he wil never have more than exactly 5000 fans. No guest ever sees the questions in advance. Thanks to Daisy D and Greystoke for their excellent tunes!
Steven Davidson takes Jarred back into the tumble dryer of his early life. We hear the reasons behind his random digging of gigantic holes, about a deep and beautiful friendship with Taylor Swift, tales of eating bamboo in the mountains whilst learning martial arts, of selling a thousand wigs and winning an Olympic bronze medal at snooker before throwing it into the Thames. No guest hears the questions in advance, their brand new life is made up entirely of nonsense from their own brain discussed as always in a very serious manner. Many thanks to Daisy Davidson for use of her excellent original tunes!
Just under two years on from his last show, the slowest working man in showbiz brings the magnificent Mark Maier into a life that he definitely didn't live. Episode 29 takes Mark through a vicious cheese meltdown, onward to a school for gifted parkour leapers and round the corner via a field giving spirited performances to disinterested cows. All this whilst breaking up with Adele, making jam for Jon Bon Jovi and experiencing a multitude of emotional adventures. No guest ever sees the questions in advance, they talk only in pure nonsense and lies. No truth is involved. (Many thanks to the amazing Daisy Davidson for creating the lovely original piano backing for a song subsequently ruined by some disturbing vocals)

Steven Davidson is a licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Sex Therapist in Fort Lauderdale. He is known as the Sexual Integrity Coach and has over 30 years of experience working with couples. He is also the author of Sexual Integrity. In this week's episode, Steven shares why it's so important to communicate your actual desires instead of keeping them secret from your partner. When Steven coaches men addicted to chemsex, he understands an underlying problem goes beyond the drugs; they're struggling with connection, intimacy, and bonding. Find out more on this week's episode. TAKEAWAYS: [1:40] How does Steven define sexual integrity? [3:15] Sexualty doesn't just happen at puberty. It develops throughout our early childhood. [5:30] There was a lot of toxic messaging around same sex attraction and it brings a lot o shame for those who fall under the LGBTQ+ umbrella. [7:20] Today, things are a little bit more open in how people can express their sexuality, but the work is still not done. [10:05] Did you know that it wasn't until 1967 that people of different races could marry each other? [13:20] Chemsex is unfortunately much more prevalent in Florida than in Tennessee. [16:35] Steven helps men define what their sexual preferences are, and uncover why they feel they need to be 'under the influence' in order to enjoy it. [20:45] Sex is a big part of how we connect with other people and how we bond with other people. In order for us to really connect, we have to be honest about our own kinks, fetishes, and desires. [24:20] Couples often keep secrets from each other about the bedroom and what they like. They're afraid of talking about it. Steven helps remove that stigma. [27:15] We are not good at repressing our sexual drives, and being in denial doesn't stop our desires. RESOURCES: Drstevendavidson.com Steven on LinkedIn https://www.facebook.com/dr.davidson.sexintegrity QUOTES: “For me, integrity is about being authentic, transparent, walking your talk, and being honest. Sexual integrity is about being honest about who you are as a sexual being and being respectful of who other people are.” “In childhood, we don't really think of children as sexual beings, but our sexuality starts forming in utero. In utero, there are things that are happening that influence our gender and our sexual orientation.” “Sexuality is innate. It's not something that's avoidable. We're designed to be sexual beings.”
In this RfRx session we will discover that sexual integrity is simply about being yourself and getting honest with yourself and others about who you are as a sexual being. We will also discuss how to integrate, instead of compartmentalize sexuality. The mighty Glenn Wool enters a life he knows nothing about, written for him by Steven Davidson. Glenn must lie and improvise his way through an interview dissecting his strange alternative life with no advance warning of the questions whatsoever. The results are very funny and occasionally very weird...

Former Scottish Comedian of the Year and internet sensation Mark Nelson travels back in time to discuss a brand new imaginary life written for him by Steven Davidson. If you've ever been to the Comedy Nights at the Dalriada, you'll have seen the host Steven Davidson in action. However, there's another side to his professional life as a performer that he's developing in the form of a podcast - "Looking back on a Life the Didn't Happen".
MC Hammersmith himself enters a past he knows nothing about, accompanied by his Men With Coconuts cohort Steve Worsley. Steven Davidson has written a life for Will and Steve, all they have to do is improvise their way through an interview about it with no prior knowledge of the questions. An emotional and very funny yet serious discussion of nonsense ensues, a quite lovely jaunt into the city of the valley of death.
Stand up comedian, Come Dine With Me Star and Queen of 'Viva La Shambles' Larah Bross enters the weird and wonderful made up world of 'Looking Back on a Life That Didn't Happen'. After the traditional serious bit at the start, Larah journeys into a life where she has no idea whatsoever of what is coming next. Her side of Steven Davidson's odd world is entirely improvised, gloriously making it up as she goes along discussing topics from the dark depths of the Davidson mind. Total rubbish discussed in a serious manner is the future of spoken language, and it begins here.
On the momentous day that The Donald was somehow elected, Jojo Sutherland briefly discusses comedy and then enters a brand new personal history that she knows nothing about. Jojo has to improvise, lie and bullshit her way through a mysterious life that Steven Davidson has created for her which includes Fidel Castro, raspberries and Irish dancing. Jojo had absolutely no advance knowledge of any of the nonsese that came her way, and slowly metamorphasises into a very strange new person as the show goes on!
Keir McAllister and Vladimir McTavish catch up with Steven Davidson at Edinburgh Fringe 2016 then embark on an improvised journey of nonsense into a past they know nothing about. After a sensible start, Steven interviews the two Scottish comedy heroes on a new life he has written for them, and with no prior knowledge of the questions Keir and Vlad have to lie and improvise their way through it. Nothing in part 2 of this podcast is true or has any connection to reality. It is a serious discussion of total mince, shrouded in a flamboyant celebration of fabrication.
Father Ted legend Michael Redmond talks comedy with Steven Davidson and then attempts to negotiate his way through an entirely improvised life. Michael has no idea of the questions in advance and the 'Looking Back' section of the show has no connection to reality whatsoever. It contains only mince, lies and buffoonery.
Steven Davidson catches up with Phil Differ at The Brunton Theatre during his tour, then takes him back into a life story that is made up on the spot and has no relation whatsoever to Phil's actual life. Phil has no idea what Steven's questions are going to be in advance, and provides an avalance of magnificent improvised daftness, discussed as always in a serious manner. Everything after the first record is a lie.
Steven Davidson catches up with Billy Kirkwood then takes him back in time on a journey into Billy's fabricated life. All Billy's answers to the questions in part 2 of the show are improvised and are a pack of lies. This podcast contains only the purest daftness.
Steven Davidson catches up with top stand up comedy hero Stephen Carlin, then journeys back with him through his deeply controversial life. Carlin knows nothing of this dark past that has been created for him, or of Davidson's questions, and must create an improvised life for himself around them. This is serious discussion of nonsense at its very best. As always, it is clearly marked on the show where the madness begins...
