Pagina Oficial, Discografia: https://www.discogs.com/es/artist/255963-Znowhite

In 1981, four people were brutally murdered in the town of Keddie, California. Inside cabin 28 of the Keddie Resort is where this awful crime occured. Sue Sharp, her son John, and his friend Dana Wingate were savagely killed with a claw hammer and a steak knife that was left at the crime scene. Sue's daughter Tina was kidnapped that day and her remains wouldn't be found for three years. Three younger boys sleeping in a bedroom were left completely unharmed. One of those boys was a neighbor named Justin who had a very vivid dream or was it? He described in detail what he thought was a dream at first, but there are many similarities of what really happened that night. Could he be the sole witness to this horrible crime? Listen to the California episode of Cults, Crimes & Cabernet to hear where the case is today. Call to Action: Anyone with any information is urged to call the Plumas County Sheriff's office at (530) 283-6360. On the night of April 11-12, 1981, 35 year old Sue Sharp, her 15 year old son John Sharp, and his friend 17 year old Dana Wingate were brutally murdered in Sue's rented Cabin at a resort located in Keddie, California. Sue's 12 year old daughter was also missing from the scene, though her remains would turn up just over 3 years later about 65 miles away near Feather Falls, California. Two suspects emerged. But because of a botched investigation, mishandled and overlooked evidence, and political rivalries, the case became nearly unsolvable. The case sat cold for more than 3 decades before it was assigned to investigators with the Plumas County Cold Case Unit. With advancements in technology and DNA, there may be a chance to finally give the families of the victims the answers they've been waiting for, for more than 4 decades. This is the story of the Cabin 28 - The Keddie Murders. In 1979, Sue Sharp left her husband and moved her five kids to cabin 28 in Keddie, California. Two years later, Sue, her eldest son, and his friend, Dana, were found murdered inside the cabin. Her youngest daughter, Tina, was nowhere to be found. The case would go cold until three years later when Tina's remains were finally discovered. Who murdered the three found in cabin 28 and why did they take Tina when they left? Would justice ever be served for Dana and the Sharp family?
In 1980, single mother Sue Sharp escaped an abusive marriage and she and her five children moved from Connecticut to California to start afresh. The Keddie Cabin Resort, where the Sharps ultimately landed, was a one-time vacation destination turned low-income housing complex. Not long after the family settled in to cabin #28, it became the scene of a horrific multiple murder. It should have been an open-and-shut case, but after what seems to have been a deliberately botched investigation, the case went cold and remains unsolved today. In the early 1980s the Sue Sharp and her recently moved family rented out cabin 28 in the Keddie Resort, in Keddie, California, located in the Sierra Nevadas. Sheila, one of Sue’s teenagers, was staying in another cabin that night. Which may have been to her benefit because Sue, her brother, his friend, were all brutally murdered that night. “They stabbed and pounded on everything in visible sight–the walls, the people, the furniture, everything. There was blood sprayed absolutely everywhere. You knew right away we were involved with a psychopath.” ~ Rod DeCrone Like, subscribe and all that jazz. On the morning of April 12, 1981, 14-year-old Sheila Sharp returned from a neighbor's home after a sleepover to find her mother, 36-year-old Sue Sharp, 15-year-old brother John, and John's 17-year-old best friend Dana dead on the floor, victims of an apparent massacre by way of knife and hammer. They were bound, and had been tortured, leaving many in shock, wondering who could do such a thing. But that's when they realized 12-year-old Tina Sharp, Sue' daughter, was missing from the home. She'd been abducted by the perpetrators. It would be three long years before answers arrived, though, in the form of learning Tina's remains were discovered in a remote location outside Keddie. To this day, however, the case remains unsolved. Join host Ryan Kraus for a unique profile of the killers, an examination of the autopsies, and a tour through the crime scene, as we endeavor to unlock the truth in this terrifying case.

April 12, 1981. Keddie, California. 36-year old Sue Sharp, her 15-year old son John Sharp, and John's 17-year old friend, Dana Wingate, are found brutally murdered inside Cabin 28 at the Keddie Resort. Sue's 12-year old daughter, Tina Sharp, is missing and her skeletal remains would be discovered in a remote area three years later. Sue's two youngest sons, along with a 12-year old family friend named Justin Smartt spent the night in a separate bedroom and were left unharmed. Over the years, the investigation would uncover two promising suspects who happened to live in another cabin at the resort. Were these two men responsible for the Keddie Cabin murders? Was there was a cover-up by law enforcement which allowed them to escape justice? Did Justin Smartt witness the murders and block the event from his memory? Were other suspects involved in the crime? For our special Halloween episode of “The Trail Went Cold”, we will be examining an infamous case which was voted on by our listeners. Special thanks to listeners Kelly Campbell, Stuart Davis, and Stephanie Kurtz for narrating sections of today's episode.
